Don't Give Up - Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush

It's such a brilliant song, it really captures the mood of some of the country during the Thatcher era. Peter Gabriel has an alright voice, but Kate Bush makes this song. The chorus is so full of emotion, it's amazing how much feeling she can put into those three words "Don't Give Up" it's such an inspirational song.

Indestructible - Disturbed

Really helps me to get into the mood to write. Then again, most Disturbed music does. Proper gets the muse juices flowing.

It's a great song. Lyrics are amazingly written. I love it.

Because were else will you find a robot unicorn plunging to his death, whilst flying through the air.

on a lighter note i had to download the song because i cannot get it out of my head...

Stand by Me - Oasis
I'm starting to get back into Be Here Now again, after not having listened to it for ages. Other than All Around the World, I'd say this is my favourite track from it. It's really calming.

Sing To Me, by Run Kid Run

Good song. I really like the lyrics in this song, and how they flow along with the music. Sometimes, not often, but sometimes I find songs where artists seem to be struggling with the lyrics, and it's a major turn away from a song for me.

I really love the lyrics.

9/10.

Bryan Adams - Run To You

Been aaaaaaages since I last heard this. It just got requested on the radio and it reminds me when I went to go see him live eighteen months ago. The lyrics are very effective and it's one of the best oldie rock songs that I've ever heard. He was just as good performing it back in the concert. Can't still believe he's going now since he's in his fifties. His songs are always so uplifting or emotional.

All Of This, by Blink 182 ft. The Cure

Been a while since I've been listening to Blink songs. This one's simply gorgeous featuring my all time favourite band. The Cure. :ryan:

♫ Another night with her, but I'm always wanting you...

Use me, Holly, come on and use me... ♪

Jason Derülo - In My Head

I've probably listened to this for the umpteenth time now. It's just great to hear purely Jason's vocals in this song without needing a highly autotuned one. I love his voice and the song itself - it really did deserve a number one spot for a week in the UK.

Crucifucks - Gallows
I'm starting to like Grey Britain a lot more now that I've given it a few listens. I still think the original release of Orchestra of Wolves is their best work though. This is a pretty good closing track to it, and it has the general message of the album to it (like the other dozen songs).

Gallows are Amazing <3 Frank, OoW is deff there best work
<3 abandoned ship
MAYDAY MAYDAY MAN OVERBOARD AGAIN THE FUCKING SHIP IS BREAKING UP GOING DOWN IN FLAMESSSSS

i'm listening to the sound track i got with my XIII limited edition
tis sexy music

Carry Out- Justin Timberlake and Timbaland

i'm hooked on this song<33
it's catchy, upbeat and a really good song to listen to IMO.

Tim doesn't really play a big part of the song other then the beginng and i would've like to hear more from him.

JT has great vocals and he's very talented as well ^^

Eiffel 65 - Too Much of Heaven

Can't seem to get this song out of my head lately either. I compiled an MP3 CD for my car and went through my music and found a few oldies (like this one) that I hadn't listened to in a while.

Now I just can't get the song out of my head, though it's a really good song.

McLean - My Name

He sort of reminds me of Lemar, but his voice sounds better. Love how soft, yet smooth it is. It's obviously a love song and the lyrics suggest that. I heard it a while ago, but kept skipping it. Now I really love it. I really do hope it gets a high spot in the charts when it's physically released.

Rings Around the World - Super Furry Animals

Along with Radiohead Super Furry Animals are possibly the best British band of the last 20 years or so. And this is their best album in my opinion, melding their manic energy and occasional lovely ballads with some electronica elements. I love how some of the songs can switch style halfway through. And it has Paul McCartney credited with 'Celery and Carrot' on one song. What's not to love?

Lady Gaga - Alejandro

Just got The Fame Monster, see if Id like it. And I admit the freak does have some good music. Im still not a fan of her, but she does make some good music. So, lets leave it at that ...

Look After You, by The Fray

Gorgeous song. Pretty much listening to my older favourites again, and this was probably one of the first 'real' covers I remember playing on the guitar. Loved this song along with others by The Fray. They have such great talent for songs that mess with your emotions if you really listen to them.

Great band.

If I don't say this now I will surely break
As I'm leaving the one I want to take
Forgive the urgency but hurry up and wait
My heart has started to separate

There now, steady love, so few come and don't go
Will you won't you, be the one I'll always know
When I'm losing my control, the city spins around
You're the only one who knows, you slow it down

Oh, oh
Be my baby
Ohhhhhh
Oh, oh
Be my Baby
I'll look after you
And I'll look after you

If ever there was a doubt
My love she leans into me
This most assuredly counts
She says most assuredly

Oh, oh
Be my baby
I'll look after you
After You
Oh, oh

It's always have and never hold
You've begun to feel like home
What's mine is yours to leave or take
