Was woundering if anyone uses the same or multiple usernames across various websites and forums.

I like to use 1 name as much as possable so if someone happens to see it from one site and then on another they can probly put 2 and 2 together and realize its the same person, though thats how its suppose to work lol alot of times people Hijack cool usernames and use them elsewhere.
 
I always used the same username when I was visiting different forums.

Though I only come to this one now.

I just don't see the point of making up different usernames. It gets too confusing to remember what you are on what site.

So much easier if you stick with one name and not only that, I love my current username and only want to be known by that until I find another one I love even more. Though I doubt that will happen seeing as this is the best username I've ever had for myself. XD
 
I have been using this one or variations of it in multiples places. It all started when I was chatting on MIRC when I was a teenager. I tought it sounded really cool at the time and I haven't came up with something better yet.

The only time I have used a different user name was when I joined a personality type forum 3 years ago, but I haven't posted there since last year. I don't really have (or take) the time to post on different forums now.
 
Yeah, I use my same username from here on another forum that I'm still active on. I used to not use the same username twice but that does get confusing after a while.

I like my current username and will probably stay with it for a while. Terminator 1 & 2 are two of my all time favorite movies. The Terminator was kind of one of those sci-fi cult films from the 80's like Tron, Starman and Blade Runner that gained popularity later.
 
I had a username I used everywhere, but someone has gone around stealing it. Oh I confront them and they admit :C

But when I can, yup, use the same username everywhere I go. :P
 
I've grown very attached to my username, so I use the same one on this other forum I tend to lurk and occasionally post in. I figured that it might be nice for one of its members to notice my username and perhaps realise what forum I have come from, and my style of posts over there is more or less the same as my style over here, so that may or may not make it more apparent that it isn't some random person using the same username.
 
I always used the same username regardless of what forum/gaming site I register at, 99% of the time I'll get it but there's always the odd occasion where someone uses it then is never active so I have to put a twist in the username or use a completely different one just because of some inactive person :hmph:!
 
When I first started foruming (back in...2004, I think. Possibly 2003) I used the name "Anima", which I stuck with until around 2006. Then I started using a different username with each forum I went on - asides from one forum, which kept dying and reviving every couple of months, and another which was shut down, I've never really felt welcome on any of the forums I've been on, so I've never really formed much of an attachment to any of my usernames. I tend to pick usernames based on my favourite game/anime/book at the time, or my mood.
 
i've gone by pooley at some time on all forums i've been on seriously. i tend to stick with a few old familiars, but they're subject to change too. jack's smirking revenge and the man with no name have both been used a few times as well.
 
It varies between 1-3. Although I do tend to stick with the three that I used most of the time, mainly for my sake as I often forget which one I used. It's just easier that way.
 
Well, to be honest, I really don't go to other forums :hmmm: But, like skype etc yeah. Cept, it was taken so, I had to add numbers haha xD.


I just find it easier that way so that my brain remembers what it was. Lot more organized. I know I use to have a buncha different usernames and passwords to different websites and, I could never remember them. Same with email adresses so, I couldn't send in the 'forgot your password' code :hmph:

But, if its available, HELL YA. :P I try to make it similar if the username DeadFantasy is taken.
 
I used to change usernames more times than the average person changed their underwear. Nowadays I end to go with either "Madaraki", "Kita", or in one odd case; Madarakita.

Other names I've gone by include WK, Witch King, Xaedrahk, and Pentarax. Yeah, I had a thing for X's.
 
I only use one main username at the moment which is RapidBlaze. The only time I use a different username is if I am undercover or for a different purpose.
 
I use only Ragnarok IF it is available upon registering and most of the times it's not... so I use either Renove or Demokaze when that happens. Magically those two are always available so if someone has it is most likely me.
 
Though this is the first forum I've ever joined, I'd probably use the same username on all others as well. I was thinking about joining a wrestling forum the other day, and said I'd use the same name as I use here. It'll help me remember easier. Having a bunch of different names would confuse me too much and just make me angry, so it's best to avoid that.
