The Nine Worlds

Well i'll destroy what remains of the city in something big and flashy (and gruesome :8F:) before heading off to pursue the heroes, maybe engage in Mock battle 1 :hmmm:

It's more a crushing effect, it's only aimed for the surface, after all, what could possibly be below the city that's worth killing? :wacky: least to Nereid's knowledge xD

>_> Some way to make my 1200th post...it's not... Bah, what's the point, I'm just obligated to be somewhat active in the RP now, at this point it has become that it is really against my will, I'm dragging myself into this now, with a headache...every time. -__-

Things will pick up ya know, they always do. You are a god, you can survive just fine :monster: you worry too much, this is the world of RP, everything happens...

That's what you're supposed to feel. Helpless. Hating the Pure Ones for their sins

That's why we become heroes, we dont want to be so helpless and so we step up ya know? It's all part of RP

There could be some survivors anyway. My serpent is surviving as he is in the sewers... Perhaps some civilians were in the subways as the deathball flattened the city?

There may still be some civilians left that you could go to save. Or perhaps those that survive are safe anyway for a while, as the villains move on to chase the fleeing group and go elsewhere.. Unless a villain or two stays behind to pick the remainder off (if any did survive).

Ooh hoo hoo, that would really kill me, as if complete destruction of the major city and eliminating most of the population wouldn't be enough... ~_~

... Saul's not safe :gonk:

Bolt, you need to realise, even as a God, your character can't save everyone. It's teh nature of Roleplays to have the big bad annihiliate a bunch of civilians to kick start the good guys resolve.

As if they don't already realize this isn't a serious situation? Wow, mankind truly is daft... xP It takes something even bigger than what has happened to realize they need to do something about it (the...heroes)? That's a laugh, rather amusing really. xD

Are you neglecting to realize that half the heroes are TOO WEAK to do anything atm?

Aria and Koodori have only just realised their powers, Samuel is just coming into his, Katrina (I don't think she knows hers yet) and Shogun (not sure here either)

Not to mention the White Mage and Black Mage. And the Seer is trying his best to survive long enough to do as Fate wishes him to do.

Saul is also currently staying behind (risking himself) to protect the town. Ashe and Shogun are trying to protect the other heroes long enough for them to escape. It's not as if none of them are doing nothing. They just know they're not CAPABLE of doing anything now.

Is it better for them to make a last stand now when their abilities are unpredictable? Or to regroup, strengthen themselves and come at the enemy when they least expect it?

The second choice, clearly.

If they don't know of their 'powers', they couldn't possibly be just escaping enemies until they realize whatever power they just feel like they have, but haven't discovered what yet...

Anyways, it's bad enough if all the NPCs, that mass majority of the citizens of New York City die, I just wish to know the ones that went to Holland Tunnel will survive this whole ordeal, and as for PCs in general, I desire that I not be personally responsible for any of their deaths, should some RPers' good characters be killed...

Approved, but she should also be able to open portals between worlds, as she is the Pure Ones' main transport.

Odd, I often use a character called Amelia as a villain. :hmmm: :lew:

Cerberus, that is the way it will work. This story is very linear and plot driven, and allows for not much deviation. You will hae to accept that most New York citizens either are dead or will die. A similar event is set to occur next Arc.

Wolf. Read what I said.

Most of the heroes have experienced something that indicates their power.

And they're are going to survive. Just because the villains are following them, doesn't mean the heroes are just going to be decimated like that. It doesn't work like that. You'll understand the more you roleplay, how this sort of plot works.
