SOTW General Information
SOTW = Signature Of The Week. The SOTW competition takes place once a week and can only be set up by a designated mod, but anyone can enter. Every week there is a theme and least guidelines set up for everyone to follow.
Here is an example:
Theme: Anime
Rules: Transparency allowed, can't be square.
Rules that apply to every SOTW
1.) Do not vote for your own entry. You will be immediately disqualified if you do so.
2.) Do not submit the same sig/tag in more than one SOTW. That's just silly, and will get you disqualified.
3.) All entries, regardless of the theme, must fit the forum sig limits which are 500x200.
4.) While we will count votes without posts, posting is encouraged, as entrants have worked on their signatures, and it's nice to receive feedback, comments and critiques.
5.) You may enter only one signature in SOTW. However, you may enter a signature made by you, as well as any number of signatures made as a collaboration with another artist / artists.
Purpose for this thread
The purpose for this thread is to discuss current, past and upcoming SOTW. Also, you can suggest themes for SOTW (which is more than welcome) And winners for each SOTW will be posted here.
Schedule
Every week we will post a guidelines thread detailing the theme, entry date and any additional rules for the upcoming S/AOTW. If you enter, you must pm Stevie Nicks or Seraphyna your entries, depending on which week it is, so that the voting will be anonymous. That way, we can cut down on playing favourites at least a little bit. Once the voting threads are up, the guidelines for the next week's S/AOTW will be posted.
