God, it was so hard. I swear I stared at them for at least two minutes trying to pick my favorite Some really good sigs this week. FFF is good at renders, it seems
The text design is beautiful, and the colour scheme just fits. Special mention to #5, but #6 won me over.

Well I have got to say number 6 caught my eye the most. Man it was hell to pick but I decided that number will be my vote! The background colors are teh sex and the text is

No. 5 is pure epic hawtness. I loved the pic they used of Cloud and the whole lightning effect is really freaking cool.

Lots of good entries, they are all really good actually, but number 6 gets my vote this time, Im loving the the background, it just suits the image so well

1: The colors goes well but tbh the things around Zack is a bit off and looks messy.
2: Too simple, black doesn't fit with Aerith, text is way a bit off, There's nothing in there except for the black brush, the thrown render and gradient fill, nothing special. =\
3: The sig is a bit small, Left side doesn't go well with the right side, needs more work imo.
4: The border is good and that blue color with the text in the bottom, other than that it has nothing that really caught my attention.
5: I like it, especially the left side, and I like the soft brush that has been done on the sword But I think it can be better.
6: I like the bit around Fran, right side isn't so much, I don't think the negative space was used well tbh. =\
7: I like the smudging in it and the color scheme though the text is a bit off.
8: I like it around Zack, nice tag, I think the text should have been a bit smaller and the height a bit bigger. <_<
9: Too green and definitely not a good thing

In the end, my votes go to #8, great job all. ^^

Eh, number 5. What can I say, it's perfect. The placement of the character is excellent, the lightings lines reflect against Cloud's skin (and I have no idea how you made that happen) the placing of the text is excellent and the colours are superb. So my vote goes to 5 because I think it's better than the rest

I voted for #7. I was actually a bit surprised that #7 garnered no votes whatsoever; I think it's nice, clean, great smudging for the background, and the text is really well placed and rendered as well.

#6 would have been my second choice, seeing as it's also clean, dark, and really well defined. Very simple, which I think is effective for this type of render.

I'm really surprised 7 hasn't got any votes yet. It's between 6 and 7 for me, but after much consideration I'll go with number 7. I love the color scheme, the cloudy look in the background and the hint of darkness on the right side. Great blending and in-depth look. The 'Fran' text could have been better, but it's a minor detail.

6 is also great. It's clean, I like the negative space, but the text could have been better as well. Great blending here too and I love the use of orb lighting around her. I'm just not sure of the C4D left out in the background like that. Seems a bit distracting. But other than that, the skill of lighting is what I'm definitely looking for and 6 and 7 both managed well. I think what really pulled me towards 7 and that her face seems to be a bit more clear and out there for all to see. The focal point is one step ahead than the others, I think.

Great job to everyone who entered though!

I'll make this short and sweet and only commenting on the one I voted for because of time constraints.

1 - because it had the effects that most of the others were not comparable too. Zack looks relatively clean in this picture as well.

Great job to all, I'll see if I can comment further later on.

My vote goes to #1 this week.

The colours are lovely and the lighting bags it for me. I love the effects around Zack and the font and text is spot on for me. Love teh border and the overall feel of the tag just fits for me.

#2: The focal is too small for the tag and the black brush just doesn't seem to feel right. Also, the fact that the border is BEHIND that brush puts me off. Text would have been better 1) closer to the focal and in a different style.

3: It's clean, but far too simple for my tastes. I didn't even notice teh text until a third look. >>< Border finishes it off nicely though

4: Whilst the border looks pretty fancy. the background looks tooplain and doesn't really work for me. It's not a bad piece, but it's not one of the better ones in my opinion.

5: I'm really put off by the white/blue lighting strips things in front of cloud. The text isn't too bad but the overall tag feels unfinished to me.

6: The c4d puts me off a little bit but besides that, I love this piece. The liughting is lovely and Fran just blends in nicely. The text made me squint, but other than that, great job.

7: My joint second choice with #6. It's very eye drawing but the one thing that put me off was the Fran text. It just didn't seem right. Everything else was perfect and spot on though.

9: I don't mind the green... but perhaps Cloud shouldn't also be green. The font is too large too (though im probably not one to talk >_>) Good try otherwise =3

 

[Dean Winchester]

I love the colour scheme of this signature and how the stock seems to blend smoothly with the background. However, there's this bit of "something" messy at the edge of the sword which seems so out of place. Also the string of black "smoke" next to his shoulder seems a little awkward.

The stock stands out too much and it does not blends well with the background. Stock and background just don't mix

Same problem as number 2, and the text in this one is barely legible.

The stock is too big...it covers all the signature >_>

Good one, but it is somewhat too light...

Gotta love the background and the stock location. The background and the stock also blend smoothly however, the text seems to have problems.

7)

Good stock and background, but the text as well as that "yellowish orange" spot kills the sig.

8)

Can't see Zack's face...also the text stands out too much.

9)

Too...green. The text stands out too much and it does not blends well with the background, and neither does the stock. It is just too green.

So dun dun dun! My vote goes for number 6

I'm just going to choose between One and Six, because I can...and let's face it, if I chose some other sig, that wouldn't be very helpful, now would it? (Don't freak out, I think these are the best two anyways)

I'm choosing One, because it feels more "full" to me.

Both renders are blended well enough, both sets of text are in fine shape, it's just that Six has got a lot of empty space that I just don't like. While some of the effects on One are a little dodgy (I guess), it just seems to have more there, whereas Six is lacking, but not by much.

They're both good, though...but there can be only one!
