This one here had a nice concept, and while the stock was in perfect quality, I believe the huge-ass white border really killed it IMO. The lack of lighting also was an issue, unfortunately. :hmmm:. And it's too bad, really. The text was perfectly placed.

A nice approach for this one, but I feel the brush strokes(mainly the white flower strokes) were just too random. Now, if there was a clipping mask applied there, and somehow a good amount of textures and balance of B&C(Brightness and contrast), then I think this one would've turn out completely different; and for the better. However, text was nice.

So, despite the stock being a little LQ, I believe this was the overall best one of the selection(not counting mine ofc XD). I do see that a hard-round brush was used for some smudging effects, and with the intensity of the lighting, and how the BG was build up, I do think that was the best approach. I love the fact that there's some neg-space; leaves room for depth. And the text on the bottom is a very nice touch. So, overall, a nice tag :ryan:

I voted for 3 because I thought the colours and subtle effects worked much better than the other tags which have big 'in your face' effects, which came off as a bit messy IMO. I also like the different style of text.

Maybe if 4 rearranged some of it's effects so it flowed a bit more smoothly it definitely would have been in with a shout. For me at least.

Voted for number 3, and I agree with Ewan. The other tags had big effects, looked a little chunky, and had a little too much negative space for me... I liked that three used up it's space nicely. The font was placed with thought, it seems, and it shows.

Number 3 it is for me.

Well, I'll be the first one to vote for signature #2. I like the style and the background patterns. Black and white against a color background is pretty cool.

The other entries were good as well.

Number 4 for me it looks sooo epic :)

yh it's way kool :)

I voted for Number 1

Perfect choice, even when her husband cheated on her she remained with dignity and class, she presented how a real woman should be..I dont care about her personal life as its personal, but the way she presented herself was beautiful.

As for the stock, its a beautiful pose and again she shows class.

I love the gray version as we all know she died in a horrible car accident and this sig reflects her dark sudden death but also becuz of thewonderful picture she radiates beauty and once again class..

The text is placed perfectly. Awesome font as well. and the combo of 2 different fonts.

I like the clouds on the left side as it fills and blends nicely, and I also like the fact that there are actually no clouds on the right because that would be too crowded.
So its nicely balanced.

The white border actually amplifies the substance of the sig.

This whole sig is class and perfection IMO.

#1 this week.

I distinctively remember working with this particular stock before, and I know for a fact that it was very challenging to work with a none-HD image. The artist pulled it off very well by applying B&W theme, with a tinge of sephia tone to sorta complement the style and whole look. The cloudy effects on the left blends in well with the subject, while not overwhelmingly empowering her. It works very well because of the way Diana is positioned (looking towards the right) and having this particular effect making its way to her from the left side is a good reflection of an ideal composition. And on the right is a flat subtle background effect, which adds depth towards the subject. A great combination, in my opinion.

Text works pretty well. I admit I'm very picky with cursive style writings, but this one isn't too overdone. Topped off with a different border, which is something I like to praise artists for trying a different style.

Overall, great job to everyone who entered this week!

I had trouble deciding about this one. I had it narrowed down between 3 and 5, and I had a difficult time trying to decide which one I'm voting for.

The color and pattern used in entry #4 is very well done and consistent with each other. The placement on the stock doesn't take away from the overall quality of the background, but I didn't like how the stock blended in and how I can't see any depth between the stock and the background.

Entry #3 I love the use of negative space. That and the lighting brings the focal point to the stock. I probably wouldn't have used that color but it seems to work with this sig. I'd have liked it better without the text. It's actually almost nonexistent to me, and because of the placement it draws my focus away from the sig.

But still overall I'd have to say my vote goes to entry #3.

Congratulations to Mitsuki who wins this week! =D
