Top marks for all those who entered. I like how high quality all the entries are this week. Good job to everyone. :)

Really nice work on this one. I'm loving the text and how it doesn't seem to impose in terms of color seeing as how the rest of the tag is energetic and is composed of fairly bright color. The stock is nicely blended in and the lighting seemed to create a nice subtle texture throughout the piece as well.

However, the space on the right is fairly empty. Maybe it could've done with being excluded altogether although it does balance out the bright space on the left as well.

Composition-wise, the overall arrangement is very well done. The signature is very focused on Luffy and I think the effects around him accentuate that. I have to point out the curving C4D or something seems to draw your eye into the center. I like the text as well.

That being said, I thought there was too much clutter in terms of effects. Every single element seems to compete with one another at the expense of the overall aesthetics of the piece. I think some of the effects could have done well if they were faded a bit to make them less conspicuous.

I don't mind the color scheme too much, but I don't love it either. For this attempt, I think it works.

Nice attempt. Very ethereal and I like the mood of the piece. Very clean, very bright. I think it's nice. The text is perfect, love the placement and I think Superman's position makes it seem like he's actually flying and moving.
Diagonal placements are always pretty good for that anyway.

It's also very simple, no flashy effects or anything, but with the competition in this voting thread, I can't help but shy away from it. :c

Also...check when you do a 'flip' transform next time. xD
Just noticed that the 'S' on his chest is backwards. :ahmed:

I like the effects on this one. Very energetic and appealing. I like the sharpness of these effects too. I love the blending of the stock with the background and I also admire the text as well.

Good job. Only qualm is the left empty space, though you did manage to make the overall signature work (like #1's above) because of your placement. I learned that 1/3 of empty space is very appealing and is at the very least balanced.

I always like nice textures in the background. Kudos for using one. ;D
I'm not too sure if this was a conscious decision or not, but I like how the stock stands out and blends with the background at the same time. I mean, Wolverine is clearly defined yet the color of his arms and the color of the background is exactly the same. Nice.

I think what hurts this most is the size. Not too sure if the artist is comfortable with signatures this size, so...

Nice color scheme. Gives a nice foreboding feel to it. I love the text placement and the text itself, which I think is very creative and visually appealing.

Personally, I'm not too sure about the lighting. But I know that renders don't always cooperate. :ahmed:

Great attempt overall though. :monster:

Wow. I like this one a lot. The effects complement the stock so well and perfectly. I like the little splatter/speckle effect going on around the middle since it gives off a nice little texture in the process. I'm not really sure if the little wires are a C4D or a separate image, but I like what the artist did with these along the way. I like the vibrant dull red color they give off a lot.

The only thing negative I have to say about it is text and border. I know some people like to do sigs without these elements, but man, on here, their absence makes it feel a little empty, a little unfinished.

Image quality is very good. Composition and background elements are very appealing. Top marks as usual. >.>

I'm on the fence about the color scheme choice. It doesn't seem 'dark' enough thematically. And the brown used here makes the signature feel a bit dull.
Text is alright, though I know for a fact that this font style is default for the artist. :wacky: But in the end I thought it worked out really well.

I like the L-shaped border, very orderly. I like the little effect to the right by the tree. Thought that was nice background manipulation.

Overall, very well done.

In the end I was torn between 7 and 8. I had to go with 8 because it seemed the more complete signature to me.

(1), (4), (6) and (8) are all very good but I voted for (4).
I really like the lens flare around the text and both the colour and font of the text works well in the signature.
The effects compliment the render and really emphasise Jean Gray's super powers whilst also providing colour and detail.
(4) was the best IMO because it seemed to flow and fit together the most effectively.

I voted for #4. I loved the effects around Jean, and the render of Jean herself was awesome as well, I REALLLY like the text too ♥

Number 6. It just looks awesome, the colours flag image text, everything about it is just realy good

1. I like the bright lights around Pyslocke, it feels fitting for her and it is at the same time it is pretty simple and not over the top. That one gets my vote!

Dammit.... I wish I would've looked at this the other day, most of the stuff I'm working with now is manga. :(

I'm kind of stuck between 1 and 4... It's actually a really tough choice since both have their pros and cons in comparison to one another, but one of them is definitely my pick. :wacky:

I really liked 1, 3, and 4. I ended up voting for 3.
The lighting effect was really nice ^^
Almost mysterious looking, good and clean too.

My vote goes to number 6.
Gorgeus colours and lighting and im really liking the text aswell. Pretty much a perfect tag imo.

Can I not vote, and just press select all?! .. these are all very excellent work. I have no complaints, how the heck am I supposed to pick one. Can I be bias to character? ... ugh.

I'm going to go with 5 because of the back ground and effects around wolverine. Very nicely done.

Great job all.

Very tough choice, but I ended up going with number 6. The dark colours and textures work really well with the lighting and the white border tops it off nicely. The only problem I have with it is the opacity of the text, I think it makes the area around it confusing for the eyes. But otherwise it is a great sig.

Tis was a hard choice but in the end I decided to go with No 6

I like the way the colors were made fluent and lean towards the green even if his own original colors were blue and red. The lighting is very well done. The background is simple which draws my attention towards the image it self. Though, the text does bother me a bit, the placement is fine but the font it self kinda....I dunno steps off in the wrong direction with the entire thing. Perhaps making both words of the same font wasn't the greatest idea out there. Either way, tis is why I voted for No 6

Great job, everyone. <3

Time for voting again.

1 - I like the look of this one. The comic feel due to the image used really went well with the theme and the negative space used on the right was pretty good. The direction it was aiming for is towards the main focal which is great.

2 - Pretty colorful signature, which is good. There's a whole mix and blast of energy here. I'm not too sure about the positioning of the text though...the gap in the middle is a bit too wide which makes the whole look a bit odd. I think the artist could have gotten away with not including the green effects in here because I'm looking at the white and blue deeper in the BG and it looks quite fantastic. That probably would have made an even greater effect overall.

3 - Very lovely, I love it. It's on the simplistic side but the whole look really appeals to me. Love the text - definitely fits in here. My only suggestion is that I think the stock is way too blurry, but that's probably the look that Clark would give off if he's engulfed in so much lighting.

4 - Nice tag as well. It does feel very energetic and the effects were quite spot on. The sharpness bits here and there added a nice touch. Pretty decent font. The composition along with the color theme, however, looks a tad bit awkward. I think it's because there seems to be a line of smoky effects drawn down in a vertical manner and it made the left side look 'shut off' from the rest...if it was tilted diagonally a bit like this " \ ", it would have been a lot better, because then the left empty side wouldn't look so out of place and would complement the rest of the signature.

5 - Textures could be fun to use. Pretty decent tag - I like the font and everything. The motion blur on Wolverine is pretty subtle but nice. Hmm, the size definitely doesn't go too well here. Reason being is because of the size of Wolverine. So the artist could have either: a) reduced the size to complement the image size, or b) increase the size of Wolverine so that it shows mostly his upper body.

7 - I can't really tell who this one is but good tag overall. I'm loving that 'dissolved' effect (at least I think that's what it looks like) scattered in the middle. I think this is a bit on the messy side and while I like that messy look at times if executed in the right way, this one seems to lose me in all directions. Not exactly sure what it is, but it could be the blurry background behind the C4D. I just can't seem to get a grasp of what I'm looking at here. But it's still a very nice tag all in all.

8 - Pretty epic, imo. The Joker's face catches your attention right away. Very nice elements added here the color theme is very nice. The lighting is quite superb although I'm not sure where the lightsource is coming from. I'm not too sure about the color of the border, although I do like the style of it. Just the color that seems a bit too light...perhaps another shade darker and it would have worked perfectly.

In the end it was a tough choice between 1, 3 and 8 but after much thought on the matter, I'm really digging number 8 here due to the whole composition overall. Everything blended in perfectly and the very subtle texture on the bottom-left is really added character to the whole dark feel.

1. No.
It has some good composition but it's pretty plain around the focal.
And the lighting is a bit too intense and needs to work on depth.
The blending is off and needs work as well.

2. No.
The border is choppy.
No blending what's so ever.
Don't like the text that well.
Needs work on concept.
And pretty much work on basics more.

3. No.
The lighting is way too intense.
Work on depth.
Can't really see the text that well.

4. No.
The blending is nice.
But it's bit plain around the left.
The lighting is way off.
Needs work on c4d effects.

5. No.
I think it's a bit more than the limit of what the rules implied.
Looks more like a texture background with just a render attached.
The text doesn't look good and doesn't work well with it as well.
The blending is a bit off though but also a good try.
Needs work on depth.

6. Yes.
I simply love the colors on the signature.
Nice use of the text.
Nice blending and depth.
But the lighting is a bit intense.

7. No.
This was my second choice that I would have voted.
I like the simplicity of the surroundings.
Needs work on depth.
Good composition.
Lighting is a bit off and needs work.
I really love the effects that has been used on this, very unique.

8. No.
The only thing that bothers me about this is the text. I think it should be in a different shade of color to give more attraction to the focal to give more depth.
The depth is okay but it gets taken away from the text you made.
The composition is real nice.
The light on his face seems way intense to actually see much of the focal point, which is another example of taking away the depth from it.
