There's some top draw entries in there but that one immediately stood out, high quality image, brilliant effetcs, especially on the right shoulder, fantastic colour and lighting, top quality font and positioned in the right place rounded off with a nice border. Brilliant sig. Period.

It's gorgeous! I love the spectral colors. It doesn't look like there was a lot done to it but the picture is so extremely clean, and that makes it stand out to me.
 
1. in comparison to the rest its really lacking, it could use blending and a lot more done to the BG to make it stand out.

2. the stock/render is too blurry. Its a nicely blended sig but the focal is so blurry it really takes away from the depth of the tag. A blurry render is an immediate off-put.

3. aha i like this one. Although i dont think much has been done to it the sig is clear and easy to make out. Even though the spotlight is in the wrong direction i still like this tag for the simplicity of it. Id advise the artist too look at the render and add the lighting based on where the light is hitting it. Nice job though.

4. Love this one. The colour depth is really quite stunning. The sig doesnt look 2d at all its as if your looking through a window, its so ''lifelike''.
Personaly i dont like the text placement, its too far from the focal, if it was nearer this tag would be perect imo.

5. This one caught my eye straight away aswell. Good use of c4d, its been blended superbly, i think the text could be a bit closer to the focal but its still a great tag. Overall this tag has the best postioning of stock and render out the lot.

6. Lovely blending and gorgeus text i just think the background is a little dull..thats the only negative thing i can say about this tag. The border is Sexy.

7. I think the presentation of this tag is spot on, but the blurriness of the stock lets it down D:

It was between 4 and 5 for me but im voting 5 as to me its the best positioned tag out of the lot although it was a hard choice as i love the depth in number 4, the text was what put me off.

Great work everyone uv all done great. =)
 
1. The BG was too plain, the render was a tad bit blur as well but nice render and text.

2. I absolutely love this one. The BG was perfect, light at the corner was awesome and the text and render suits the sig ver well.

3. The darkness around him and the text ( + font) really adds to the quality of the sig.

4. The text positioning was OK but it'll be nicer in the middle? The BG was a tad bit plain as well but nice overall texture.

5. Everything was brill. I think though you might add something more to the text; a tad bit too plain?

6. Liked the lightning effect as well as the render. I would make the render a tad bit more of his colours IMO.

7. I'M VOTING THIS ONE. The BG and its patterns were perfect and so were the text. The render adds to the effect of the bg and patterns and I loved the way you used the border.

5, even though none of them are really convincing.
 
I really like both four and five, and it was an extremely hard choice. I love the coloring on both of them. Both backgrounds are really busy, to me, but I like them that way. I think the text is what decided it for me. I vote number four, because I prefer the text, but it was a REALLY hard choice.
 
I voted for number 5 because I loved the render behind Zidane as well as the overall color scheme. they all looked wonderful, but that one stuck out the most for me ^_^

And on that note, I vote for #4. I'm too tired to make a drawn out explanation tonight as to why I chose it. It's the only one that really caught my eye.
 
It was between 5 and 4 for me and I chose 5.
Both of them stand out and both use the renders effectively but 5 just edged it for me. 4 is too intense IMO whereas 5 looks is more subtle in it's tones. Both of them make great use of renders. I would make the text stand out a bit more in both of them but the text in 5 seemed more fitting with the signature.
So 5 gets my vote for the subtle tones and slightly better text.
Great work everyone, I can really appreciate the work put in to them now I've started using photoshop :D
 
I voted for Number 4.

It is so gorgeous!

The colours are brilliant and makes the whole signature feel so warm.

I love the detail within the background and the positioning of Seifer. It was an awesome image of him to use. It looks so real. =0

The lighting is spot on and the border works nicely.

Well done to all!
 
I chose Seifer -#4-. I found it awesome and great. I dunno about sig making, but this one is really nice.
 
Both #1 and #5 were very appealing towards me. I might sound biased a bit on this, but I love good lighting. #5 had the most detail though, so I gave it the thumbs up.

Great job this week for both AOTW and SOTW! FFVIII Roxorz.
 
It was between 3 and 5 for me, but the presentation on 3 looks a tad bit awkward with the dark cave-like shadow surrounding Vivi. Otherwise I would have voted for this - it's still a great piece and the text is spot on.

5 is quite brilliant although I think the text could have been better. It has some great lighting and the use of C4D is very nice. Typically I don't prefer the C4D used in the background as part of the main focal point but I have to give this one an exception since it doesn't look too noticeable - probably because it's been blended in so well. The background behind the C4D added a nice little touch.

But anyway, I might as well give some CnC for the rest of the entries.

1 - Looks interesting with the transparent thing going on there, but could definitely use some improvements. The background effect is a very good start so far, and had the artist continued with it, I think it would have came out better.

2 - Very nice, I like the lighting on the right side so far...but that image of Zidane is low-quality and that's probably why it looks a bit odd. The text is brilliant though.

6 - This looks pretty cool actually. It gives a very unique glare and the focal point is definitely spot on. The colors used were interesting and I have to give it up for the artist for trying something different and going with a new look. I love the text and the sharpened bits looks pretty good. The border tops it off quite nicely. Now that I'm looking at this a lot more closer, this would have been my second choice along with 3 actually.

7 - Text and border looks interesting. The overall sig looks good and the lighting is quite nice. I'm just not too sure about the over sharpened cracks on the left...it makes it a little too apparent. Perhaps if some of the sharpened bits were erased here and there, it would have looked a lot better.

I promised I'd come by and be the tie-breaker vote. With that in mind, I went with #5. Bear in mind that I don't have an eye for this stuff, but I thought it had more elements to it. #4 was too cenetered with very little surrounding it, even though I like how it mentioned "romantic dream". The factor that made this tough for me actually was the fact that I do like the look of #5 better, but I was torn for my love for FFVIII over FFIX. But what looks better is more important.

If I was choosing in a non-tie-breaker situation, I'd go with #3 honestly. I love the coloring of it and how it shows.
