I love sleeping. Especially after long and tiring weeks, I find myself sleeping for 10 or more hours every day on the weekend.

I'm not an early riser most of the time either. I usually go to bed at midnight and wake up anywhere from 9AM to 12PM if the sun doesn't do it for me beforehand. I don't nap so sleeping in bed for long hours is doubly comfortable. :wacky:

And you?

I absolutely hate sleep, I have an irrational fear of dreams so that sucks as well as the fact that I always feel like I'm missing out on things when I sleep. I normally fall asleep after 5am and wake up at 9am or 12 on weekends.

Sleeping is something I enjoy very much and I probably get too much sleep. There is nothing like returning home from a long day of work and school to take a nap. It works wonders for me. The only problem I have from sleeping is the occassional case of sleep paralysis I suffer from, but it rarely happens.

I don't like getting into bed every night. The only reason I do on weekends is so I'm not in a bad mood all day...and so I don't sleep through the entire day.
Once I stayed up untill noon without sleep playing Mother 3. XD

.....
Tip: Don't do that.

Sometimes I do take a nap when I get home from a long bike ride though. When you are tired, it's great if you didn't guess already. I usually get about 8 hours of sleep a night.

Errrr I could have sworn another thread was already on here but oh well I will post again. I love sleep. Sleep is awesome but On weekends I just cant seem to fall asleep at night. Happens on weekdays also(schooldays) I usually just use the computer till I am really tired. I think I need more sleep in general. But everytime I wake up I just can not find time to go back to sleep. I guess I do not really sleep on weekends, I just use the computer till it makes me fall asleep :hmmm:

Ohhhh sleep, how I love you. I don't get nearly enough sleep during the week, because I hate going to bed early even when I know I'm getting up early, but on the weekends, I often sleep for 12 hours or more. :wacky: I got up at 2:30pm today after going to sleep at 3am, but I think I needed it anyways.. eh. I'll probably do the same thing tonight, I use the weekends to catch up on sleep. :ryan:

I'm not a huge fan of sleeping myself :hmmm: I sometimes will take a nap in the afternoons for an hour and change when I get home from work, but then unless I'm sick I won't sleep again until about 2am, and then I sleep through until 7:30am to get up to go to work. I always fight to stay awake as long as I can though, because I always have a million things to do and never feel like I have enough time to finish them :sad3: And a lot of them are fun or productive things; if they were things that sucked I would probably try to sleep longer to put them off :lew: But yeah, I guess altogether I probably get about 6 or 7 total hours of sleep per day :hmmm:

I fucking love sleeping. However, I don't get near enough of it. I stay awake for days on end just because I can't get to sleep. Oh how I envy those that can lay down and fall asleep in 5 minutes.

I'm lucky if I can fall asleep within the hour... On a good day. :hmph:

If I am really into something (book, game, chatting/posting/surfing) than I feel like sleep is just wasting time by taking me away from it. Otherwise I normally enjoy sleeping.

I love sleep. I just wish I didn't have such trouble with it. There was nowt like a lie in on the weekends after earl;y rising all week for school. To me, life would have had no meaning if I couldn't have lie ins at weekends :wacky:

It's something I don't get enough of anymore, I certainly can't enjoy it. I miss waking up and drifting back off to sleep, thats a rarety these days, though, I was that fucking tired last night, I was asleep before I hit the pillow, woke up this morning, checked the time, conked right back out and a phone call woke me up at like half 10

It was ace

Not only that, but if you sleep well, you just feel better, I hate being tired and crabby. My eyes were on stalks last night, watching a film and Im like...its early and all I wanna do is go to bed...
I fucking love sleeping

I love sleep. :elmo:
I usually go to bed between 10-11 PM (Gotta get tall now). The time I wake up depends on whether it's a weekend or a weekday. If it's a weekend, I set my alarm to 8... then I go back to sleep (idk why, but it feels better going back to sleeping right after you have just woken up).

I love sleeping way to much. Sometimes on the weekends, I find it difficult to get out of bed in the mornings because I want more sleep.

As of late, my sleeping schedule has been a bit strange. It's unpredictable when I will want to go to sleep at night or when I wake up in the morning. Sometimes I'm ready for bed at 11 pm, other nights, I can't fall asleep until 4 am <.<

I used to be notorious for sleeping 3-4 hours after class and having an impossible time sleeping at night. Luckily I don't have that problem anymore.

Sleep. Just can't get enough of it. It's the best feeling ever to come back from a strenuous (or just generally shit) day and collapse onto the bed and let my worries go for the rest of the night. Unfortunately I happen to suffer from insomnia at particular occasions, so the prospect of sleeping then is a lot more uninviting especially if I'm constantly tossing and turning into the early hours of the morning.

It's irritating though. Weekdays - or whenever I need to get up early for anything important - when I have to rise and shine early in the morning, it just feels terrible to have to force yourself to get up while half-asleep. I would just wish for another hour or two. Then when it comes to weekends and such, I effortlessly wake up rather early instead of managing a nice lie-in. Why the heck must that happen? :gonk:

I love sleep, I can't go without it, seriously, I try to stay up for more than 20 odd hours and I start feeling like collapsing. I still sleep like a baby at this age, and move about like one too. I wake up with bruises and cuts from tossing and turning, I've never once been woke up by hurting myself during sleep, not even when I fall out of bed.

Games are a bitch though when it comes to choosing between the two. Tough tiemz. I'm getting better as I get older mind. :andry:

Sleep is amaaazing. :8F:
Just going to sleep at the end of a godawful day is always wonderful, or even on a normal day. XD
It's horrible when you can't get to sleep though, for one reason or another. Be it noise or too much light or something like that.

I think the thing that annoys me most though is that you wake up really early on weekends when you could have a lie in, yet when you have to be somewhere in the week and you wake up at the same time you feel absolutely exhausted.

I enjoy sleeping as well especially after a long and busy day. Dreaming on the other hand usually sucks. Either something good happens to you and you find out it was a dream or, in my weird case, I dream about food and I wake up hungry and craving for that said food. The feeling you get once you wake up is the best part if you got enough sleep and nothing woke you up.

But what I hate are those times where you think you're still awake and you somehow fell asleep without noticing and by then it is time to wake up for the next day.

I mostly get the average sleep for a person and I don't even think it's enough for my body to take. I did used to and may still get tired in the day, so caffeine has been my best friend for keeping me up. Since I work in the weekends, I usually spend the weekdays to catch up with sleep whenever I don't have lectures.

I dislike sleep because it takes up a lot of time, and it is time which we are not conscious.

If sleep could only last for a few hours then I'd have no problem, but the amount of sleep that we need just to be able to function is quite ridiculous. Some people can live with very little sleep and are fine, while others struggle to sleep and really need it. Myself I tend to need sleep, and can usually get it, but I don't like it due to it being time knocked off my life that I'll never get back and will never remember.

If it was physically possible to abolish sleep from my life then I would do that. Sadly, it isn't. :sad2:

All of that said... I do like it when I'm lying in bed and have nothing to do, but I always hate myself when I do this and would much rather get up.

I used to think that, then again, I guess I still do to an extent. :lew:
Sleep's nice, but we can't do without it or our body pretty much gives in.
I normally tend to sleep (or I have been doing these past few days) a lot later than I should be, and i'm trying to get out of that habit as it's a horrible thing to wake up in the morning ready for a day of college when you're already absolutely exhausted.

I always think "Oh, i'll have a nap when I get home". Yet when I get home I never feel tired.

I have a love and hate relationship towards sleep.

1) When I don't get sleep I'm a total ass hole. Not openly of course, I'm just inverted and concentrating not to let my head ache get the best of me. So it looks like I'm just brooding, which actually I'm not, just trying to stay focused. Hence where you'll get the feeling, I don't care.. when at the time, true I may not care as much, because I'm focusing on things that don't cause my head to ache more, but when I can try to catch back up, I won't be as much of a bear.

2) When I get a good amount of sleep, it's heaven. Nuff said, my brain can be efficient, I can get stuff done, and I feel like doing new stuff.

Without sleep I'm a zombie, like right now. BRAAAAAAIIIINSSS
