The room was dark, the outline was barely visible, it was almost as though there wasn't even a room to begin with. Just a dark void. Sound seemed to be non existent besides the faint echo of of wind traveling through the halls. Where this place stood was unknown, what this place was, nobody knew, but it existed... it had to exist. How could it not?

With a loud bang a stream of light shot out from the ceiling from nowhere. It focused on a body pinned against a crucifix like a spotlight singling a suspect out. At first the body looked dead. It was that of a young man, elf like in appearance but soon he stirred awake.

"W-where...H-Help!!!!" came his cries echoing through the empty halls of nothingness. "Help me please!!!"

"No one can help you...."
came a voice as if out of nowhere."No one knows where you are..."The voice was calm yet had a terrifying tone about it.

"Who are you!? WHERE AM I??" The young elf screamed "You can't hurt me, this is a dream!!" He struggled and went to grasp the sword that was holding him in place but realized he couldn't "M-m-my arms... where are my arms???"He cried out tears falling from his face as he shook his head violently finally noticing the puddle of blood around his feet.

"Ohohoho!!!!" The voice boomed sounding most pleased. "You really are stupid. Your arms however, mmm..."

The sound of lips smacking together could be heard from the darkness, who was this freak?? what was he trying to tell the elf?? Suddenly out from the black something flew out, hitting the elf in the stomach before falling to the ground. The male shivered and flinched and his eyes grew wide as he realized what had been thrown

"There is one arm" Came the voice. "The other... well, it was delectable... scrumptious, amazing! You're strong willed, it really did sweeten the flavour"

"Y-you're sick, YOU'RE SICK!!!" The elf spat in the direction of the voice "Just let me go, I haven't done anything to you."

"I've been watching you, you have got a superiority complex... your mind often dreams of being king, being in a position of power. It was only right that I should put you in your place...That is why I felt a crucifix was most fitting... you act like you are a son of god so I will kill you like one... but it is not just that, you see I must eat you... it's for the greater good. My greater good.. you probably would not agree with it but you do not matter, you are stupid. I am much stronger than you. You should want to sacrifice yourself for me."

"Who are you??" the man who's face was now pale with fright squinted in to the darkness, the light streaming down on his face was making his eyes hurt. But he couldn't see anything.

"You couldn't even comprehend it. But now time for talk is over, I must say I am quite famished and your voice is really becoming a bore... you know you all say the same thing. 'where am I?' or 'who are you?' It is really quite sad, you all think you are different but deep down you are all the same!" The voice paused but not for long, the air was then filled with laughter, loud laughter.

"I do get lost in the sound of my own voice sometimes!"

The elf struggled against the crucifix, the sword cutting further into his belly but he didn't care, he wanted to get out. Then, in a blink of an eye he found himself on the ground, his stomach bleeding but there was no more sword. His first instinct was to get up and run, and he did. He wobbled to his feet weak knees struggling to hold his body, his arms were useless, he couldn't use them but that didn't stop him.

He then ran, ran as fast as he could go, he didn't know where he was going, everything was so black; he didn't know where the voice went, right now all he wanted to do was escape. His exit plan was short come though as he bumped into something solid yet warm, like a human body. The elf fell backward onto his behind and looked up in horror.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!!!!!"

"Ahahahahahahaha!!!! This is so delightful! Goodbye!"

The air was full of the terrifying sounds of screaming laced with death and then... there was silence.

School was almost over there was approximately 10 minutes left of the day.

"Assemblies are so boring!!!" yawned a girl with brown hair. "Mimi, Mimi don't fall asleep!! I'll be bored sitting here without anyone to talk to!"

Mimi found herself being shaken awake by her friend Alice."Oh sorry, I had a really terrible sleep last night." The pink haired girl sighed as she brought her hands to her face, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

Mimi was an average looking high school student. She was 16 years of age and went through a rebellious stage like most kids, dying her hair pink because her parents didn't like it and because pink made her stand out in a crowd of students who were all forced to wear the same old boring uniform. Today she had her fringe pulled back behind a butterfly headband, she thought she looked rather cute.

She looked around the large assembly room at all the other students, there were a few boys putting spit balls in the hair of another kid who was sleeping, this made Mimi laugh to herself, there were girls gossiping amongst themselves as a teacher stood on stage giving an announcement about recent policy changes and really everything was quite boring and normal.

She looked at her pink Gucci watch and sighed "Ten minutes and we're out, I bet it'll be the longest 10 minutes of our lives."

Then the principals voice boomed over the speakers spread across the room grabbing all the children's attention.

"Ehrm. Excuse me everyone. Before I let you out for the day with a few early minutes, I'd like to express my concern for you all. As you are aware strange and disturbing things have been happening around the neighbourhood, we all remember Timothy Duncon who fell into a coma during school holidays. I just want to make sure you all remember to stay safe, do not venture out at night and make sure someone knows where you are at all times. It is in our best interest to keep you all as safe as possible, we do not want any thing to happen to any more of our students."

"Blah, blah, blah" Mimi giggled to her friend Alice as she made her hand into a mouth pretending it was the headmaster. Then something caught Mimi's attention.

"Daniel, Assembly isn't over yet!!"

The boy who was sleeping moments ago had stood up and was staring forward.

"Excuse me student, please sit down, I have not dismissed you yet." The headmaster called over the microphone but Daniel didn't listen. Instead he picked up an object which looked like a pen and turned to one of the boys who had been putting paper in his hair and he lunged forward with great speed, stabbing the boy in the neck with the pen repeatedly.

The room was now full of screaming kids as Daniel continuously lunged at students, hitting another 3 students, 2 in the neck and on in the chest.

"What is going on!!! Stop him, somebody stop him!!!" The headmaster cried as he ran off the stage towards the commotion.

Mimi and Alice managed to run to safety just outside the assembly room with the majority of the others and peered into the room. "What happened??"

As the teachers finally made it to Daniel to restrain him all life seemed to leave his body and he flopped in their grasp, limbs and head limp.

"is he dead?" came a voice from one of the students

"No he's still breathing" The headmaster said as they laid the boy on the floor, listening for a heartbeat. "What on Earth is going on??"

Walter's eyes danced across his notebook paper as he finished the solution to his last Calculus problem. He looked up over his glasses for a brief moment to watch the headmaster drone on about...whatever he was droning on about. It was sure to be useless information anyways...most assemblies were just colossal wastes of time.

He finished his last problem and leaned back in his chair, satisfied.

Surely, these are the longest ten minutes of my life.

Walter lazily scanned the room to see how his fellow students were killing the time. He took note of the sleeping kid getting hit by spitballs by what appeared to be some of William's cronies. Walter sighed...part of him felt bad for the kid, but he shouldn't be sleeping in an environment like this.

Walter leaned towards the person sitting beside him and tilted his head towards the spitballs. "He's practically asking for it, eh?" Walter had hardly finished his question before the kid jumped up and started stabbing one of his tormentors. Walter's eyes widened.

Now...this is interesting.

=========================================

William looked over at his friend who was shooting spitballs and sighed. Sometimes he wished his fellow football team members wouldn't act so...cruel. He was just starting to contemplate leaning over to tell his friend to stop when the target of the spitballs stood up.

Oh good, he's moving to another seat.

William hardly had time to finish this thought before the kid jumped over and started stabbing the spitballer with a pen. William immediately got up and tried to restrain the kid, but caught a wild punch to the eye. He was knocked back a bit, and by the time he regained his composure...the kid was passed out and his friend lay bleeding on the floor.

"Is he dead?" William asked, more interested in the boy who had been stabbed.

"No, he's still breathing." Predictably, the headmaster had thought he was talking about the crazy kid. "What on Earth is going on here?"

Now that's a great question. William surveyed the scene and wondered precisely the same thing.

Sitting up, half bored in the assembly Harry listened as best he could to the Principal, trying to keep the attention off him as best as he could. Using his hands to support his chin he kept as quiet and unnoticed as he could to the other kids who were largely as bored as he was.

Letting out a small sigh he found himself drifting off a little when he was shocked awake by a mass of screams ringing through his ears. Looking behind him he saw a student bleeding from the throat "What.. The heck?"

-----------------------------------------

Natalie, like the rest of the girls around her could think of a million places they'd rather be than listening to the Principal that just droned on about stuff they'd forget the second they left, right now she just wanted to go to sleep, though seeing a kid being made into spitball target practice gave her second thoughts.

"Ugh, this is boring" Natalie muttered under her breath, hoping nobody heard her as she took out a book and read that, anything to distract her from the chore that was paying attention to this Assembly. Lost in thought she didn't notice a splash of blood hit her book till the accompanying ear piercing screams struck her, too scared to look behind her she tried to keep her eyes glued to her book rather than look at what just happened.

Tomoe Tomohane Temahari

Yadda Yadda Yadda

The teacher's droning words rang in Tomoe's ears. The number of time he must have repeated the same point over and over again was so mind numbing that it had seemingly made her mind turn off. It was fustrating. Its not like she herself wanted to get into trouble. In fact, to Tomoe, if the teachers were less worried about themselves and tried to sort out this stupid power struggle amongst the delinquents, then she herself could very well be a normal girl rather than the leader of the school. Instead, Tomoe had to stand still and get barraged by lectures day in and day out.

Sigh.... Go to the assembly hall, but we are not finished in regards to this.

.............

.....so he says...this sucks....

That was 10 minutes ago. Tomoe sat in the assembly hall along with everyone else. To be expected, everyone was restless, but Tomoe just sat there letting her eyes drift about. The more she thought aobut it, the longer time seemed to stretch. The jocks were spitballing around in any direction they seemed to like, except at hers. While Jocks were popular and, as football players, strong, Tomoe and her friends were the supposed "gangsters" of the school and would go and clobber someone at the drop of a hat, regardless of the surroundings. Tomoe hated that term and besides other schools and the occasional hard ass that needed disciplining, Tomoe saw that she herself isn't any different from any other student.

The head master continued to talk on about recent events and potential dangers that may occur. Only really half listening, Tomoe stared out the window to her left when the victim of the spitball suddenly shot to his feet. That snapped the girl to attention since it was so sudden and in one swift movement, jabbed three of the jocks with a pen he held in his hand. Panic instantly erupted as normal students surged backwards away from the tussle, Tomoe tried to remain afloat from the stampede.

Ugh... damnit! Quit PUSHING!

One such rushed student shoved at her as he ran and was met swiftly with a jab to the head as she then yanked him past her. Tomoe wanted to help. She knew first aid and she was sure that the student waas no match for her if he got violent. It was always a dream for Tomoe to be more than just the faered school punk, but by the time she untangled herself from the mass of bodies, the student was restrained. Shamefully, a small part of her was disappointed that it was over already.

"Is he dead?"

"No, he's still breathing. What on Earth is going on here?"

Logically, Tomoe guessed that the student probably snapped from stress or bullying. It was a high school and this school is no exception to it. It was not uncommon and particularly since the people she attacked were the jocks. To herself, these self-centered, pretentious male prima donnas were always seemed to feel the need to act like arseholes. That said, it was all speculation and Tomoe dismissed it from her mind as a extreme case of mental break down.

Holy shit Tomoe. Did you see that!? That was fucking crazy.

Well, its over. It has nothing to do with me so i don't care. i could do with less contact with the teachers, so at least its someone elses mess

Her friends grimaced at her nonchalant reaction, but Tomoe had always put up a facade for everyone bar her closest companions. If word got out that she had any softness or weakness, then she would get hell from home. In this case, contrary to what she said, she was VERY VERY interested.

It is in our best interest to keep you all as safe as possible, we do not want any thing to happen to any more of our students."

The principal’s words resonated throughout the hall, but very few ears seemed available to catch them. Gemma simply silently laughed to herself as she leaned nonchalantly against her seat towards the very back of the hall. The advantage of this was that she could make a hasty exit before the horde decided to rampage towards the door. She had been aggressively doodling something nondescript and wild on a thin pad of paper on her lap, angrily jabbing holes into the fibres before tearing out a page, hastily scrunching it up and tossing it behind her back. God, she hated assemblies. Nothing bored her more than this for very good reasons. She detested being in the company of her classmates, let alone the entire school in this dingy hall.

‘We all remember Timothy Duncon?’ hardly, Gemma muttered silently to herself, she had no idea who the guy was. Timothy to her was just another faceless individual who was lost within an enormous crowd composed of the same faceless individuals. Whatever happened to the boy, she thought to herself, very few would mourn for him. Even if he decided to die in his coma she could hardly care less. That would be one person down. What was this crap the principal droning on about now? The need to stay safe; what kind of patronising drivel was this? Why did she need a balding middle-aged man to spend twenty minutes of assembly telling them the need to stay safe? Night was often her closest companion. To walk under the shroud of darkness was perhaps the most pleasant way to pass the time. It offered very little in the way of company and the darkness was an apt reflection of the shell of the girl she had become now.

Looking around, Gemma surveyed the rest of the people around her. The Polish boy with the thick 1980s glasses and the horrific sweater in front of her looked petrified. He hardly seemed to move. Perhaps he was simply that engrossed to the principal’s words, paying utmost attention to every little detail. She noted that where they were sitting, they were nowhere near what the school called the jocks. Oh, those jocks. What was it about them that made the other girls flock to them like bees to their flowers? She could see the spitballs thrown at a sleeping student on the other side of the hall. Oh yes, how hilarious. Throwing projectiles at a sleeping kid – how heroic was that? Undoubtedly the rest of the girls must be salivating with delight at them now. In front of her, the Polish kid was still fixated on the principal, hardly paying attention at all to the brave spitball fighters.

Oh, was something happening now?

It happened almost in an instant. A commotion has broken out. It seems the sleeping kid is being a bit of a fighter, oh how delightful! He was using a pen to jab his tormentors. Wasn’t this a wonderful way to end what was another worthless day in her worthless life? Caring not for what was happening, Gemma sought to use this opportunity to sneak out of the hall. If the principal had finally shut his trap, then it was a legitimate moment to make haste before the horde decided to do the same.

Francis Liebermann

Francis, despite taking in every word of the principal, was anxious to quickly leave. The building up of biology coursework was heavy and he hadn’t much time left before the deadline. If he sought a distinction in the project – which was a fundamental goal to satiate his sense of academic superiority – he could not afford to waste anymore time. He absorbed the principal’s call for caution but frantically begged for the assembly to end so that he could get out of there. He feigned his calmness on the outside and tried to contain the franticness within, though smiled to himself when he considered his genius. This time he was sitting way over on the other side of the hall, far away from the jocks and the ones who would normally use assemblies to kick the back of his seat or stick bubblegum on the back of his head. This time there would be none of that.

“We all remember Timothy Duncon who fell into a coma during school holidays”

Francis considered that name. Did he know who Timothy was? Which one was he? Was he the one who was the Psychology class ace or was he confusing him with Tim Duncan? Still, the tale of how he succumbed into this coma fascinated and frightened him at the same time. It felt so unclear to Francis, why he fell into a coma like that and yet he was intrigued to know. Biology was just that intriguing. Many sub-branches of the subject weaving into virtually anywhere and the more he knew, the further along the path he could be to attain his dream of being a renowned biologist and doctor. He was however, soon broken out of his trance when the tense hall was met with the cries of commotion.

Oh yikes, what was that kid doing? The entire school switched their attention to this new occurrence. This kid was attacking the jocks behind him with something on his hand? Was it a pen or some kind of small blade? Francis stood up to try and take a sufficient glance of the action, but he was too distant from it and for once, he cursed at the decision to sit this far away. While the cries of commotion ringed in his ears, the next thing he knew was, the principal had bounced off the podium and sprinting to the source of the commotion – followed by screams and hordes of students darting towards the doors.

"What on Earth is going on??"

What a damn good question.

For Marianna, she was undoubtedly bored. It had only been a few days into the school year and already their was an assembly going on. The fact that a student had fallen into a coma during their holidays was probably a freak accident at best, but it was probably only coincidental, nothing more.

Still the principal did bring up a point, but then, Marianna had no where to go after school but back at home, her parents lived in a fancy apartment, primarily due to her mother, who was an aide to the Greek Ambassador. In all honesty, it probably didn't concern her all that much.

"Excuse me student, please sit down, I have not dismissed you yet."

Marianna turned around to see a boy standing up, but why? He had a blank stare in his face, and he lowered himself a bit, only to stand up with an item, he then took the item, most likely a pen and stabbed the nearest boy in the neck, much to the horror of her and her students.

"Oh my god!" Marianna thought as another three students were stabbed, those that were stabbed in the neck were most likely dead, while the fourth is bleeding profusely. Moving away from the student, she quickly ran to safety, moving towards the outside of the assembly area as she looked towards the student being restrained and eventually stop moving.

"is he dead?"

"No he's still breathing"

"But...why? Why would he do such a thing?"
Maria thought as she looked onward, scared out of her mind. What was going on that made him act like that?

Vivien Aldian

As far as Vivien was concerned, the assembly was just a waste of time. More than likely, there were just going to tell them things that each and every person there already knew. It would consist of things like “be safe”, or something as silly as “don’t talk to strangers”. All in all, it was nothing that Vivien needed to hear. To be perfectly honest, it was nothing that anyone out of preschool needed to hear.

Vivien was sitting in the far back of the auditorium, much like she always did when they had assemblies like this. She liked to be alone, but even more so, she liked having access to the door so she could just get out and smoke as she left. If should could have, she would have lit up a cigarette right then and there. Running her fingers through her red pony tail, she just waited quietly… impatiently, but quietly for this assembly to be over.

Of course, when the principal opened his mouth, her suspicions of what the assembly was about were confirmed. The principal went on about safety, and how concerned that he was for all of them. Other than that, he was basically holding out an open invitation for being bored. Vivien not going out at night was like her giving up smoking; it just wasn’t going to happen. Night time was when she usually got in a couple of good fights if she was looking for them.

Vivian sighed when she, and apparently everyone else, noticed a commotion. There was a boy that was either a Special Ed student or a student that had just lost his mind going around hitting people. This time, Vivian smiled; now the assembly wasn’t so boring, now she had entertainment. Or at least she did for a little while. The boy was restrained by a few teachers, bringing his little outburst to an end. The very least he could have done was been more prepared.

It seemed as soon as they caught him, the boy fainted… he just fainted. Vivian’s palm met her face in a rather swift fashion. She heard the teachers say he wasn’t dead, but Vivian really couldn’t have cared less. Standing up, she walked out of her seat and went straight for the doors of the large room. She noticed a few others already there, but she paid them very little mind. She simply opened the door and walked right past them without even a passing glance.

Katyusha Koudelka

Katyusha wished they would just let her leave. If she had those extra ten minutes, she could get out of the school and to her Father’s car before anyone could bother her. Those two girls and that boy had it in for her today, and she didn’t want to have anything to do with it. They often underestimated just how well she could hear them, and they often failed to grasp the concept of perfect pitch. She knew exactly who they were just by the sound of their voice. Katyusha wouldn’t need eyes to be able to tell they were the same two girls and one boy that had been tormenting her since middle school.

However, Mr. LaForge, her assistant, wouldn’t let her leave early. He had told her that she needed to hear the news at the assembly just like everyone else. Katyusha pleaded and pleaded with him, but he was adamant about it. He wasn’t doing it to be mean, of course. Mr. LaForge just wanted to ensure that her safety was in order. She appreciated it, but he had no idea how… mean those three could be to her. They were the only three people in the world that had ever made her feel bad for being blind.

She didn’t hate them, of course. Katyusha didn’t hate anyone. It simply wasn’t the way she was raised. She was raised to forgive and forget, to treat everyone the way that she wanted to be treated. It was just too bad that they didn’t do the same. They enjoyed picking on her. Not having functioning eyes must mean that you’re a rather easy target.

Katyusha felt around in her bag for her ear plugs. She wasn’t doing it to ignore the principal, she was getting them because his voice over the microphone would hurt her ears being as sensitive as they were. She found them by feeling around in her bag. As always, they were in a small compartmentalized pouch off to the side. As soon as she found them, she pressed them into her ears.

As the Principal spoke, she was glad she had the ear plugs. His voice boomed over the microphone. It was almost enough to still make her flinch… it was so loud… However, the Principal was a nice man, and he was only worried about the safety of the students. However, his speech was interrupted by something. Katyusha instinctively placed her hand on Mr. LaForge’s shoulder. “Sorry, Katyusha, I’ve got to go see what this is about.”

What is going on? She thought. She could hear what sounded like punching at first… and then nothing. Taking her plugs out of her ears she continued to listen. One of them asked if “he” was dead, but then another confirmed that he was breathing. Obviously, a boy was out cold. Katyusha wasn’t one to break the rules often… but this was her chance to get out. Putting her plugs back into her bag, and took out her folding walking stick, unfolded it, and slowly made her way to the door.

Some people where there, but she couldn’t recognize their voices. “Please, excuse me,” she warned. She didn’t want to hit anyone with her stick on accident. If she remembered correctly, a right turn here would take her to the front of the school. Her Father would see her as soon as she got out and he would come to her. That’s how it worked, that’s how they always did it.

She just had to make it there before those three found her…

"Ehrm. Excuse me everyone. Before I let you out for the day with a few early minutes, I'd like to express my concern for you all. Alex is nothing less then bored. The assembly that is currently taking place has nothing to do with class and a complete waste of time in his opinion. Who cared about some guy he don't know and most likely will not know. All that Alex Glaive cared about is that he was bored and with boredom came the need for escape.

"Will this speech ever end? How about just letting us out?" Alex groaned as he started to play with his hair.

With that in mind, Alex started plotting his escape. A few minutes of thinking and playing with his long black hair gave Alex his plan. Before he had a chance to start his plan, Alex saw a random person standing up and start stabbing a person behind him.

"The hell? I'll find out tomorrow, here's my escape." Alex muttered as he casually got out of his seat and exited the room.

Outside of the room, Alex saw that a few other people had the same idea that he did. Alex smiled as he ran past the people that decided to sneak out. Luck decided to play coy as he hit a slick spot on the floor and crashed just five feet in front of a red haired lady.

Chris coughed as the assembly continued, the principal's voice droning on and on. He knew that the old man meant well, and that his words actually held some merit to he and the rest of the student body.

He was just so boring in his execution.

Another cough racked his form.

The boy who was comatose. It was rather intimidating, that was for certain. But he didn't see why that required them to be careful. After all, that kid had been in bed when sleep had turned into something much more sinister, hadn't he?

And then the commotion began. A boy shot up, ignoring the principal's stern warning, before withdrawing a pen and stabbing it into the flesh of nearby students. Chris scrambled to his feet and backed away as the inevitable chaos and screams started.

Finally the boy collapsed, limp like a rag doll. Still, Chris didn't want to be near him in case he regained consciousness and resumed his rampage. Dots of blood spotted the ground and chairs. But it was just a pen. He doubted there would be any fatalities. Still...

"Shouldn't somebody call an ambulance?" he asked softly, coughing again. Ugh. It was always like this after the chemo. He'd be under the weather for a few more months yet. Taking out his cell phone, he fumbled with the flip mechanism until he received an answer.
__________________________
Tara didn't think much of the commotion. She simply thought it was a fight between two students or a little bit of casual roughhousing. Being sat near the very back of the assembly hall, she didn't see anything as foul as a stabbing.

And this was her chance to leave. Standing up, she folded her arms and gracefully moved to the door, taking her leave.

Hmm. There were others here hmm? Well, misery loved company after all, and Tara wouldn't object to a little company.

"Oh. Hello there." She placed a hand on her hip, a small smile on her face. Just a little friendly greeting. She was nice enough, even if she wasn't the warmest of people. "I see I'm not the only one who decided to take my leave."

(OOC: You can follow Vivian and attempt to continue the conversation if you want, Bathoin. Just keep in mind that Vivian is rather cold.)
Vivian Aldian
A boy with black hair flew by her. It appeared that he was in quite the hurry. However, it also appeared that he wasn’t very quick to think on his feet as he tumbled to the ground about five feet in front of her. Typically, this would cause others to laugh hysterically. However, Vivian wasn’t most people. While she did find it a little funny, she couldn’t help but think he deserved it for trying to hot shot it out of the building like he did.

Not lifting a finger to help him, she merely looked down at him, her red pony tail hanging off the side of her face. “Perhaps next time, you’ll look before you leap.” She said nothing else to him at all as she stood looked forward again and casually strolled by him as if nothing had happened. The front doors of the school were in sight. She couldn’t wait to get out. Lighting up a cigarette was the only thing on her mind at the moment.

Katyusha Koudelka
Katyusha felt someone run by her just after she had exited the doors to the auditorium. They hadn’t said anything, so she had no idea who it was. However, what it had done was make her paranoid about who it could have been. The footsteps were kind of on the heavy side… so it most likely would have been a boy. However, it was so hard to pin gender by just footsteps. It could have been a heavier girl for all she knew.

She was just about to turn right and head towards the doors until she heard someone else. It was a girl, but Katyusha didn’t recognize the voice at all. It sounded kind of tough… a voice she would like to hear if anyone was picking on her. Yet, she knew that when it came to people picking on her, no one ever came to help… ever. “Oh. Hello there. I see I’m not the only one who decided to take my leave.”

The girl was speaking to someone, obviously. However, Katyusha knew she wasn’t the only one there. There were others outside the door. Was she speaking to her? Or was she speaking to the others outside the door? What if the ones outside the door were her other two tormenters? They could have easily sent one of them running forward to trip her or something while they stayed behind to make sure she fell into their trap.

Katyusha didn’t like thinking that way, and she didn’t enjoy assuming the worst about people… but it did sound like something they would do. However, this new voice didn’t sound as if it was the type of person to do something like that. Even though she had no idea who this person was, or if this person was even speaking to her, she didn’t want to be rude and just walk off in case she was speaking to her. Turning around, Katyusha decided to greet whoever it was, all the while hoping she wasn’t making a fool out of herself.

Her eyes of course just drifted… seeing nothing but a pitch black void. “O-oh, yes, I decided to leave as well… to avoid trouble, of course.” Her slight Russian accent came through. She really hoped the girl was speaking to her, or else she had just succeeded in making herself look rather silly.

Those damn eyes.

Those fucking eyes...

Boring into me like a drill, trying to kill me by staring at me...

Arik could feel Weisburg's eyes on him, could almost feel the look of disapproval he gave Arik. The senior had his eyes closed, his music blasting in his ears, drowning out the sounds of everyone around him and the horrible Ben Stein voice of the headmaster. They couldn't hear it though and he couldn't hear them. His Skullcandy headphones were like a soundproof wall.

He sat near one edge of the rows of seats in the assembly room. No one sat around his designated space meaning he could stratch out how he wanted and it was almost like he was a king in that school. Of course, it wasn't like he had asked for it; he was just as much required to do it as they were.

The boy couldn't go out in sunlight. Or hadn't been able to; he was on a drug trial to make it managable. But that was the thing about drug trials, you didn't know how long they would last. It was a precaution, just like the custom umbrella he carried with him. He always had it despite the weather. A quick parasol or being used as was its intent. It was reinforced so that it wouldn't blow back in heavy winds which could have been very bad had his condition not been mostly taken care of. Not just that though; Lisa had told him that in a worst case scenario, it could be used a rapier, whatever that was.

Still it was one of his immediate at hand improvised weapons. He couldn't be too careful; people didn't like that he got special treatment, that he was able to wear what he wanted, that he got his throne, as it were. So he had to know his exits and his at hand weapons. To the right was a door that led to the balcony over the swimming pool that connected to the gym and from there either way led to a set of two doors thats led outside. There was also a path to a staircase that led down blow and through another door on the gym floor.

Smirking, he crossed his legs as another song came on. He could feel Weisburg's eyes try to go deeper into futility.

It wasn't until some minutes later that people were shoving their way past his legs and the eyes were gone. At first thought, the assembly might have ended, but the urgency of the people tripping and pushing past him was contrary to that. He sighed.

His hand reached behind him to take his umbrella which he then jammed between the shoving people. It might not have done anything had he not done it in from of some squirrelly looking freshman. The boy looked at Arik with fear as his disabled opposite slowly stood up and removed his headphones. Now he could hear the screams in the gym. He stepped up and back onto the next tier of seats and removed the umbrella. The boy stood still, paralyzed by a fear that had definitely not come from Arik before getting shoved forward by the guy behind him and the stampede resumed.

Walking along that tier, he surveyed the damage below. There was blood in places and the teachers were surrounding a boy along with several students. Nobody seemed to be paying attention to the boy in skinny jeans and Converses as he watched from on high. It was a little while longer before most of the screaming students had left. He made his way down and he walked along the level floor of the top level.

Though the kid was covered by the huddle of teachers around him, he could still snatch glimpses. There was a blood tipped ballpoint pen in his hand, held in limp, loose fingers and as he watched it, it fell to the ground, clattering against the hard plastic of the seats. That explained the blood. Apparently the kid had attacked at least one person but the fact that everyone was hovering over him made him think that it wasn't an intentional incapacitation. He watched over the railing as a coughing boy flipped out a cell phone and dialed someone, presumably help.

Interesting.

Naomi leaned back against her chair and watched the jocks have their fun. It was certainly more interesting than what the principal was saying. i mean come on, we were all teenagers. we knew all about not talking to strangers and not to go dangerous places at dangerous times. It was as this thought entered her head another said 'but then again its better than going home' Suddenly there was a commotion on the other side of the hall involving some of the jocks and todays target. She saw the fight get more serious as the kid started trying to stab the jock that had just hit him with a spitball. as much as she wouldve enjoyed watching this play out she was sick of being surrounded by people, 'hopefully the fight would get rowdy enough... yes the principal was distracted, im getting out of here' she thought glancing for a way out

She took her chance quickly, ducking out of her seat and pulling her cigarettes from her bag as she slinked away. she lit it up just as she exited the room and bumped into a girl who had just had a rather similar idea to her. Naomi recognized her from a few lessons "Gemma right?" she said taking a drag of the cigarette She looked the other girl up and down slowly "You dont look the type to dodge assembly if you dont mind me saying" she smiled, attempting friendliness. hopefully this girl wouldnt report her for smoking if naomi was nice.

One of the kids must have called the ambulance because within about 5 minutes tops there were sirens blazing and two ambulance vehicles pulling into the school through the large gates one after the other. Followed closely by two police cars.

The paramedics stepped out of the cars and hurried to the scene, pushing past the crowd of curious teens all trying to get a look at what was going on. No one was sure what had happened, how could they? One moment Daniel was snoozing during assembly, something most kids wanted to do, and the next moment he'd snapped and gone crazy, stabbing kids in the throat with a pen and now he was limp.

Mimi and Alice were still peering through the door when she was lightly brushed aside by one of the cops who marched into the room to examine the scene.

"This is so gross!!" She squealed as she noticed the blood pooling around one of the boys who was stabbed. "What do you think happened??" she asked Alice wondering if her friend had a better look.

"Beats me, I didn't even see anything!" Alice replied rather unhelpfully.

Well that wasn't going to satisfy Mimi's curiosity as she was naturally quite nosy, getting into other peoples business was something she couldn't help. She glanced around the massive group of kids that were congregating around the court yard and she noticed the new Greek girl who's name slipped her memory and the rebellious girl Tomoe or something. She'd never actually spoken to these girls before and to be honest Tomoe scared her but her curiosity got the better of her.

"Hey!" She said in a sickly sweet tone. "Did you girls see what happened in there? Did anyone die?" She asked rather bluntly.

The cops were going around interviewing certain students but judging by their expressions they weren't having any luck gaining any new information on what happened. Every kid was saying the same thing.

Eventually the Principal stepped out of the Gym, and stood between the doorway so students inside and students outside could hear him.

"Ahem!" He coughed getting their attention. "Students you are all dismissed!! Please go straight home to your parents if you can, the school will offer any students who need it counselling, I hope you all accept the offer if you are feeling upset about what you just saw. The police have said there is no need for any of you to be here any longer. School will commence on Monday." He then rushed back inside, to talk with one of the Police.

Mimi frowned. "Well that sucks, seeing as today is Friday, not even a death at school gets us a few days off!" She said smugly to the two girls she was talking to.

~*~

(ooc) Students can now do what they (like meet and have interaction with each other) Until night. I'll let you all know when that is.

Alex Glaive

“Perhaps next time, you’ll look before you leap.”

Alex groaned as he got back to his feet. Shaking the pain off quickly, he walk past the slick spot and caught up with the red haired girl.

"It's not like it's gonna get me into trouble any time soon. Even if it did, a few words will ease me out of any situation with the teachers. Besides, a few bumps and bruises never hurt anyone." Alex replied as he looked at the girl.

“Oh. Hello there. I see I’m not the only one who decided to take my leave.”

Alex turned to see another girl with a walking stick that hold Alex that either she is blind or partially blind that she needed aid.

"Yeah. Leaving the boring speech is the hot idea for today isn't it?" Alex asked the walking stick girl.

“O-oh, yes, I decided to leave as well… to avoid trouble, of course.”

Alex smiled as everyone seemed to have the same idea.

"No doubt on that there. What do you think cased that guy to go stir crazy? Spitballs and boring speeches don't do that in people normally." Alex said striking up a conversation while walking beside the girl with the walking stick.

Tomoe Tomohane Temahari

At least there's free time.....

The wailing sirens meant that ambulances and most likely accompanying police officers were arriving on the scene. Tomoe deflated like a balloon, now with professionals on the scene. There was absolutely no way in which she could help. With a shrug of the shoulder, Tomoe turned on her heels and left her friends quietly without them noticing. They were completely engrossed with the drama unfolding in front of them and while Tomoe herself was, she wasn't really perfect strangers with the local precint. Best to not get involved with things like statements ands such. Once outside in the courtyard where the studetns have been herded to, the cacaphony of over hundreds of students chittering excitedly slammed into her. Her attempt in avoding the fuzz appeared futile as there were already officers going around and asking questions. Head ducked down, Tomoe made a few steps from the gymnasium entrance when a somewhat familar and grossly sweetened toned voice pricked her ear. She could recognise this voice anywhere. Tomoe's eyebrow narrowed slightly before turning to the direction of the voice.

"Hey! Did you girls see what happened in there? Did anyone die?"

Mimi Walker.....Little Miss Queen Bee huh....

Curious. Tomoe actually had not have an actual full conversation with Mimi before, considering the different clique they were in. Whatever compelled Mimi to approach her, Tomoe was slightly happy in that she could at least talk about what just happened. She intended to come off as casual and neutral, but instead, Tomoe sounded a bit terse.

Hm? The stabbing? Don't think so. Paramedics got to them pretty fast so i don't think anyone died....

...i hope.....

"Ahem! Students you are all dismissed!! Please go straight home to your parents if you can, the school will offer any students who need it counselling, I hope you all accept the offer if you are feeling upset about what you just saw. The police have said there is no need for any of you to be here any longer. School will commence on Monday."

With that, Tomoe avoided meeting any of the Fuzz that was hear today. She could now go home, and perhaps get her daily training done quickly before kicking back and relax.
Whilst the Principal stated that Monday was probably going to be normal like usual, Tomoe had a feeling it was going to be anything BUT normal. A crazed stabbing usually hung around for a month.

"Well that sucks, seeing as today is Friday, not even a death at school gets us a few days off!"

Mimi's word's irked Tomoe, and the ever so slight narrowing of her eyes and a slight left eyebrow twitched was the only sign of it getting under her skin. A great sense or urge to chide and lecture the girl on the severity of a person's life chruned at the base of her stomach, but she didn't. Mimi's Queen nickname wasn't just for show. Even Tomoe knew that she had a large range of friends. The last thing that Tomoe wanted to do was going around lighting fires and picking fights. No. Instead, Tomoe kept her mouth shut on the issue and crossed her arms and shrugged it off, trying to show that she was indifferent about it.

Tough break then, i guess.... School is going to be anything but normal when Monday comes rolling around the corner. I do wonder though... do you know if that kid was always being picked on or he just went nuts on the spot in there?

Gemma Clancy

Why was it, Gemma bitterly thought to herself, that at nearly every opportunity she sought to escape from assemblies, there always had to be obstacles in the way? The sounds of sirens ricocheted down the corridors and it was clear now that the commotion in the hall was serious enough to warrant 911. The air of commotion had followed her and soon surrounded her as students with the same idea as her thundered out of the hall and down the corridors to make their exits. Among one of them was a red-haired girl whose hands seemed to be fumbling for cigarettes. She also saw the infamous blind girl that she had been hearing all about in the school, awkwardly navigating out of the hall.

Students were also filing out of the assembly – presumably the principal had just dismissed them after all. Several boys shoved through aggressively, the impact sending her knocked against a wall – her face landing against her long hair and against a wall, narrowly missing the noticeboard and its drawing pins. Among the commotion, came hard footsteps. Medics and a police officer charged in from the front doors, sprinting up the opposite direction. The tide of students starting to flow out from the hall was a perfect indication of where they were needed. Gemma stopped on the spot momentarily and decided to ask herself what the haste to leave the school now was. Was she actually rushing to go anywhere? She had no real wish to return home anytime soon and told herself that she would bring only an atmosphere of gloom to her aunt and uncle. The last thing she wanted now was to “hurt” them the way she had hurt her mother and father before they died.

“Gemma, right?”

Huh? Was someone – who didn’t sound like a teacher or a member of the faculty – addressing her? This was certainly rare. She once heard word from someone that talking to her was about as pleasurable as throwing one’s self against a whole cactus. Well, perhaps these people shouldn’t bother trying to address her then to avoid this feeling. Gemma turned round and saw that it was a girl clad in black with long blonde hair. She vaguely knew who this girl was, from one of the classes. Why was she addressing her? Great, the last thing she wanted was company when she sought to only be alone as ever. The girl was…smoking? Inside? What a rebel.

“You don’t look the type to dodge assembly if you don’t mind me saying.”

Oh no, niceties. Surely she was sick of them by now, but that line made her only silently laugh to herself. The fact that she was smoking indoors did secretly amuse her to an extent.
“There is an anti-smoking policy,” was the first thing Gemma said, and the girl’s face quickly dropped momentarily, “though it’s not as if I give a damn.”
The girl considered for a moment then asked if Gemma would try a cigarette. If Gemma didn’t give a damn about the policy, then there was no reason why she couldn’t try one. Gemma slowly took one and a lighter without as much of a word. As she and the Naomi girl stepped out through the doors – Gemma ignored the site of the ambulance and police vehicles – she lit the cigarette and took a puff before coughing.

Yuck.

Ignoring Naomi’s slightly alarmed reaction to her violent coughing; Gemma simply discarded the cigarette onto the ground.
“I’ll have you know that I skip assemblies often,” she coldly said, “not just assemblies, either. I practically skipped half my school year’s worth of lessons. It’s not like it makes much of a difference.” Turning her back to Naomi, she strode off hastily. Getting rid of company was something she was adept at and this time should hopefully be no different, “I’m sorry but, I have to be somewhere else. I’m sure you do as well.”

Ugh, that cigarette smoke taste…people throw away their lungs thanks to this stuff? Oh well, she threw away something more than that anyway.

Francis Liebermann

Francis had remained in the hall, enthralled by what had just happened. Instantaneously, biology skipped to the back of his mind and he was now determined to know exactly what the heck had happened. Another kid was on his cell phone a few minutes ago – usually prohibited, but he supposed that with what happened it didn’t matter now – presumably calling 911. Scores of students had left the hall beforehand and a sizeable handful was left congregated around the bloodstained students with those who had received stab wounds and the boy who fell unconscious…at least Francis believed he did. The principal’s face contorted into a hammy red – as though he had no idea what he should be concerned about first, the fact that this Daniel kid had snapped and suddenly started stabbing people, or the fact that he just collapsed like that.

“Excuse me please…” Francis quietly said as he sought to get a decent view of what people were congregating around to look at.
“Emergency services are on their way,” said a staff member as she was inspecting one of the jocks’ necks with a concerned look on her face. Daniel himself seemed to be just lying there and still had not come back round. The staff member cast a frightened glance at the principal momentarily as if the two were telepathically communicating with each other something urgent. Then, it hit Francis. He recalled what the principal had been talking about beforehand – that student who fell into a coma for no apparent reason! That student who hadn’t woken up since! Was Daniel also a victim of this? Francis, maintaining his fusion of fascination and fear, intrigued and frightened himself with this very prospect. He sought to understand just what was happening. The sudden stabbing didn’t intrigue him. There were plenty of explanations for that – perhaps he was just bullied that much it caused him to snap – but the fainting was mysterious.

As he tried to veer in for a closer look, a bigger student shoved him back against some chairs. Despite the loud thud against the chairs, few people paid any attention. Startled by this sudden act of aggression, Francis slowly returned to his feet. The guy who shoved him just icily glared at Francis.
“Mate, don’t fucking push. There’re a load of chairs here; I can easily push you onto some of ‘em for a soft landing.”
At that instant, the police and the medics arrived. The principal and a couple of members of staff quickly approached them. Christ, this really did seem serious.

"Hey! Did you girls see what happened in there? Did anyone die?"

Marianna turned around to find a girl with long, light pink hair. She turned aside to see another female with long raven black hair. Apparently, the pink haired girl was talking to both the other black haired girl as well as her herself.

Hm? The stabbing? Don't think so. Paramedics got to them pretty fast so i don't think anyone died....

Marianna said, "Well..." immediately after saying her first word in the conversation, she started twiddling her thumbs. "...I hope that no one died." Her blue-green eyes looked away from the two, focusing her attention on the paramedics taking the injured students as well as the assailant to the nearby hospital.

"Ahem! Students you are all dismissed!! Please go straight home to your parents if you can, the school will offer any students who need it counselling, I hope you all accept the offer if you are feeling upset about what you just saw. The police have said there is no need for any of you to be here any longer. School will commence on Monday."

Marianna held her hands together around her waist. The announcement meant that she could finally go home. But one could worry about the friends that have been injured and are on the verge of death. It was a dark thought, but she couldn't feel sorry for people she does not know all that well.

"Well that sucks, seeing as today is Friday, not even a death at school gets us a few days off!"

Maria turned over towards the Japanese girl, who looked a bit upset over what the girl said, to be honest, she felt the same way towards the pink-haired female as well. How could she say something like that after all that has happened? Does all she care about was herself? Marianna dismissed such thoughts for now.

Surprisingly the Japanese girl shook off the matter, "Tough break then, i guess.... School is going to be anything but normal when Monday comes rolling around the corner. I do wonder though... do you know if that kid was always being picked on or he just went nuts on the spot in there?"

"I don't really know. But I do feel bad for his family though. His and all those who were hurt today."

(OOC: I’m not going to make much of a fuss about it, by Vivian was far away from Katyusha and almost at the front doors of the school by now, and Katyusha isn’t walking, she’s standing still replying to Diar’s character. It’s a simple mistake, though. So I’ll just roll with it.)
Vivian

Another one of those kids, Vivian thought to herself. She met people like him around campus all the time. They often believed themselves to be hot shots and would go around attempting to talk themselves out of things like it was no problem at all. It was more annoying to hear about it than to actually see someone do it. When people talked about themselves in that manner, it meant that they loved themselves enough to brag… which was all the more annoying.

As she continued walking away from the boy, she couldn’t help but be a little snide herself. “That’s just fascinating, really, it is. It’s so fascinating, I’m going to do you a favor and pretend you don’t exist so that I don’t get in your way.” With that, Vivian just kept on walking. She didn’t even bother to look at the person that the black haired kid was speaking to after he was done speaking to her. None of it interested her. It was all just more or less stopping her from getting a cigarette.

Walking further down the hall, she saw what appeared to be one fat boy, one fat girl, and one moderately ugly girl waiting in hiding looking towards the location of where that black haired kid was at. They must have been waiting for someone to come by… from the looks of it, they were planning on picking on someone. Just like the boy with the black hair, it was none of her concern. She walked right on past them and out of the front doors.

From there, she left out of the front gate and went towards the park. As she walked there, she quickly took a cigarette out of her pocket and lit one. Taking a long drag out of it, she sighed out the smoke; she didn’t even cough.

Katyusha
As Katyusha stood there, another person came from behind her and spoke to her. It was yet another voice she didn’t recognize. This one was Male, and he sounded nice enough… in fact he sounded rather friendly. She slowly turned around, not sure if she was facing him or not. All the while, in her head she was trying to maintain a sense of direction. If she was facing him, she should have been facing the direction of the front doors of the school. If she was facing the girl, she would be heading back towards the auditorium.

Facing the direction of where his voice came from, her eyes once again just drifted, empty and sightless. “I would not say it was boring… it was to be informative. The principal just worries about us is all. He is a really nice man.” She had met the Principal on a few occasions. He was always so nice to her, she couldn’t imagine him ever being mean to someone. “I am not sure what happened in there. I think I heard someone punch someone else. My assistant had to go help deal with it.”

She hoped that he or the other girl would tell her what happened. For as it stood right now, she really was clueless about what had happened in there.

“I would not say it was boring… it was to be informative. The principal just worries about us is all. He is a really nice man.”

"Really? He'd do us a better job if he let the police do the work and give us all a few days off." Alex muttered before noticing that her eyes was level with his chest.

"Are you blind? I notice that your eyes are level with my manly chest." Alex joked as he watched for the girl's reaction before turning his attention to the other girl.

"Ah, I didn't see you there. Geez everyone really does have the same idea of leaving early. What are your names anyways?" Alex asked as he looked from the girl with some grace back to the blind girl before stifling a yawn..

Katyusha Koudelka
She didn’t think that days off of school would be such a good idea. It was never a good idea to interrupt education for an extended period of time. However, instead of voicing her opinion, she simply nodded her head. She didn’t want to debate about it… she never wanted to debate, really. Confrontation scared her quite a bit.

His question never bothered her anymore as she was rather used to being asked if she was blind. In all reality, she was kind of surprised that he hadn’t noticed sooner. Normally, the folding walking stick gave it away. “Y-yes, I am blind. S-sorry, I did not mean to…” She couldn’t quite figure out why she was apologizing. Was he upset that her eyes were on his chest? “W-well, I… I”, she was suddenly stumbling around for words.

However, he appeared to just be kidding around. He had already changed the subject, which she was quite grateful for. He asked both of the girls their names. “Oh, yes, my name is Katyusha, Katyusha Koudelka. What is your name? It helps to have a name to go with the voice.”
