[RP]Requiem's Call

Roland listened until Seb finished talking. He replied "Why would you hack the governments computers for fun? Did you not have any purpose other than just laughs?" Roland considered this because he had before had a hand in the killings of many people, yet the difference was they had a purpose.

Than roland considered the options about leaving. He thought about this briefly and replied. "I think we better take the moter cycles, the roof tops would be sneakier but slower, and also they would end at some point. I think we should just move as fast as we can."

Roland decided to follow him to the garage and while doing so he also mentioned "We should also tread carefully because it is night time and who knows whats in the fire station, we dont want to be mistaken for zombies if there are refugee's there." Roland hauled his big bag of guns along with him and also gave Seb another clip of Uzi rounds. "Use them sparingly."
 
"When i said i did it for fun i meant as a hobby, ive hacked for them as well" he smiled as they went into the garage, he grabbed a set of keys that were all labelled. and threw roland a set that were labelled 'harley davidson sportster' Himself sticking the right keys into his 'hardy daytona replica' that was in full working condition "So" he said over the revving of the bike "you think theyll mistake us for walking corpses on these babies?" he turned the bike to the exit "well come out three blocks behind the station" he revved the bike again as they heard a smashing from the shop "Looks like were out of time ill go first to break through the doors at the end" He headed off down the tunnel
 
Chapter I Final
Outbreak -> The Search

Claire woke back after her short nap, about 5 minutes have elapsed and she was about to go back to sleeping until she heard keys jingling. Her mouth turned from a blank expression to a small grin. "Well then, what are we waiting for" She calmly walked near the door and opened it.

"You guys might want to stock up on weapons and ammo first. Wouldn't want you running out of bullets, now do we." She left the door open, instantly the putrid aroma of burning flesh and blood came into the mansion. "Whoowee, it's nice outside isn't it, gentlemen?" She said, sarcastically, "just another normal day if I must say."

Her cheerful personality was just about kicking in. She looked back at the secret room and set her eyes on a sniper rifle. "hmmm, you've been hiding this baby from me!"

Having the others confused, she walked into the room and got herself a new friend. "well, what do you say we pop a few heads open mister" she said tapping the newly acquired bolt action rifle.

Roland Ives : On the street

Roland got started the engine to a motercycle similiar too Sebs. He threw his bag of weapons on the back of the bike and stopped dead in thought. Right before Seb took off into the dark Roland said "I want you to press onwards, get to the fire station. I will be there, but not at the same time as you. Your going to have to trust me. And be careful when you get there, at this point both zombies and humans could be a threat." With that being said roland lit up his motercycle and pulled out of the garage....and turned the oppposite direction as Seb, and farther away from the fire station.

Chapter 2.I The Search​

-Luke's Post-

Luke jump's into the Hummer and start's it up

Luke: Ok it run's at least.. We can get to the base with no problem now.

Luke see's Aaron Enter the Hummer with the Assault Rifle going towards the back to give support fire,he rev's the engine and moves it outside to the front of the mansion and honks the horn for the other two to jump inside so we can head off into town

Luke:Come on you two let's go save some lives!

-Aaron's Post-

Aaron Gave chase to Luke and jumped into the hummer after him,going into the back of the vehicle,opening the top where he could stand and open fire,he braces himself as the hummer begins to move outside.

Aaron:Hope this thing can get us there in one piece..

Waves at the two making gestures for them to come inside

He watched his companion turn the otherway "Now hes gone i can do what i do best" he used the pavements and scaffolding as ramps to get on the roof of the buildings, using their fire exits as boost ramps to get over to the next rooftop. He saw the rooftop of the firestation and highgeared it onto the top of the building. landing with a heavy crash as the tires squeaked to a halt. He hopped off it and left the slightly smoking bike right where it was. It had been engineered to survive heavy stunts like that, sebs had designed it himself in fact, he could gloat another time, for now he headed over to the fire escape on the roof of the fire station

Roland Ives : I need this

Roland spent 10 minutes driving the bike while thoughfully pondering his situation. If the is a couple things he had learned from being with Seb its that a assistant gun can be useful and that people should probably stay together, hence his voyage. He continued driving until he stopped dead seeing a "Astrovan" pulled over to the side of the road.

The van had four slow moving zombies walking around the outside of it, they were porbably finishing off the remains of the driver. Roland grabbed the double barrel 12 Gauge shot gun and casually stepped off the motercycle as if he were meeting friends. He lifted it up and blew off the head of the first zombie without thinking. The zombies started slowely approaching him as he flipped open the the barrel and dropped another two shots into the barrel and latched it together. "POW" another head shot blowing the face off of the second one. He let one hand off of the shotgun and pulled his 45 from his waste and put two bullets into the head of the third zombie. As the third zombie fell to the groud Roland pointed the 45 at the last zombie and pulled the trigger....."click" no bullets. "Should have shot that last one once."

Roland dropped the 45 and took the 12 Guage in both hands and swung the butt of the gun directly against the head of the zombie, knocking him to ground. After this Roland continued beating the shit out of him while yelling. "Fuck you! Fuck you! you guys are giving me a fucking headache!" Roland beat him in the head about 20 times in anger until he stopped moving, probably a few times after he stopped too.

Roland picked up his 45 off the ground and got inside the Astrovan and turned it on as the keys were still inside of it. "I need this" He said as he started to drive away.
 
Anastasia had taken her time selecting a harness and she had made sure to forage around in the break room for some pre-packaged lunches and desserts. The quantity of provisions overruled the quantity at this point, if it tasted shitty then she would just have to stomach it. After venturing out to meet the group she heard Megan, the youngest one out of them all it seemed, introduce herself:

"The name's Megan. But you can just call me Meg."

Anastasia smiled warmly at Megan although it was admittedly forced. There was the smallest part of her that was dubious about just how safe her family really was. What if the infected had broken into the hospital? What if they had slaughtered them immediately after that phone call? Or if her sister, Su's cell phone lost signal?

"Megan, Rhys, name is Aria Tenkawa. Its good to see that we all made it out in one piece, but first things first. You got something better than that rusty pole you picked up Megan?"

Instead the seasned secret agent operative nodded curtly to Aria in a short form of acknowledgment. That had been the auburn-haired woman who had approached her ever so valiantly. At the question Aria offhandedly asked Megan, Anastasia handed the young girl another axe she had managed to spot while she had been looking for some harnesses.

"Here you can take this, it's a lot more effective than a pole." She made sure to smile--convincingly and genuinely this time as she said that.
 
Survival of the Fittest..

Chapter:Endgame I​

All the Survivor's managed to think of the same thing go to the Military Base and hope that the Military is still around fighting.

Sub-Chapter:Survival of the Mansion Goer's​

Aaron,Matvey,Claire,and Luke Were heading there in one of Aaron's Spare Vehicles as they head down the Street's full of undead they get stuck in a huge mob of Zombie's so many that it slow's the vehicle down to a slow Crawl..

Aaron:..Shit this isn't good!!

Matvey:...Oh god there's so many of them..How will we get out of this mess..

Claire:Quit Complaining..!! We can still make it we just need to get past this mob..

Luke:Right..I'm gonna try to push through stay away from the window's and keep down!!

As Luke said that the Window's shatter horde's of Undead hand reach inside trying to grab someone,Luke duck's slamming the gas pedal down and running down some zombies with a burst of speed,Claire seeing no way to escape this grab's a Fuel Canister that was for the Hummer,it has some Nitro in it to act as a Bomb if needed,she crawl's up on the Hummer and Throw's it to the Zombie's in the way,as it land's on the ground she shoot's it with her Rifle and yell's..PUNCH IT..DO IT NOW!! Without thinking Luke slam's the pedal again as the bomb explode's the Zombie's get blown down and away from the path,the Shockwave throw's Claire off the Roof of the Hummer as it speed's away,she chases after it but cant catch up in time,instead she run's to the nearest building and hide's inside till the Zombies thin out..

Aaron,Luke,and Matvey push forward in silence,they cannot go back to save her but she's more than capiable to fend for herself with the Rifle.

The Party Gain's 5 Clip's of Sniper Rifle Ammunition.

Sub-Chapter:Flame's of Rebirth​

Rhy's,Aria,Anastasia,and Megan Take Refuge inside Rhy's workplace a Firehouse,They have provision's on food and have the key's to a Fire Engine,unlike most Vehicle's the Fire Engine has the best chance of making it through the city.

Rhy:..See I told you one of them is still here.

Aria:Good we should be able to move around alot easier in this thing

Megan:True but wouldn't it be easy to flip over...?

Rhy:Heh I thought of that we'll have someone ride in the ladder with the Hose,there's enough Water built up in this to last for awhile just spray those bastard's with that and they'll fall like domino's..

Anastasia:In that case I Volunteer to be on the hose when we go,I wont show mercy to these thing's plus..I have quite a bit of ammo left so I can shoot off some of them if they jump on the Engine...

Rhy:Alright then..I'll trust you with that then...

Rhy,Megan,and Aria jump inside the front of the Firetruck snapping in for the rough ride.Aria jump to the back of the Firetruck and hold's the supplies from the Firehouse in her lap tight,Anastasia climb's up the Ladder and strap's in the hose aimed out,Rhy honk's the horn signaling to Anastasia that the trucks going to move,the Firetruck bursts out of the gate blowing off the firedoor and knocking zombie's away from the building Rhy's makes a sharp turn to the right heading downtown toward's the military base,they figure that's the best place to go for protection.

About half-way there they decide to move under the highway but the Zombie's are blocking the route's Anastasia unleashes the hose and spray's the zombies down allowing them to move,the Zombie's climb up the firetruck trying to get to Anastasia,but she return's fire with her hose,spraying them down,the Firetruck move's forward slowly the Zombies climbing up to Anastasia.

Anastasia:Come on,I'll just keep knocking you--..Oh no...

Anastasia Tries to shoot more water but it seem's it ran out too soon they didn't expect so many Zombie's to be on them like this,Anastasia think's quietly and stand's up she see's a abandoned car and jump's onto it,she shatter's the Sunroof with her gun and jumps down,she then hotwires the car and set's off the alarm on purpose.

The Zombie's leave the Firetruck and head over to the Loud car,she drives backward's and run's into other car's trapped she take's her gun and empties her clips into the undead horde keeping one aside for herself.

Rhy,Aria,and Megan Move forward once past the tunnel they would be at the base,they hear the gunshot's from Anastasia weapon flinching at each shot,they hear a pause and finally one final shot..Rhy honk's the horn once more to show respect for her sacrifice..

Sub-Chapter:A Brave Sacrifice​

Sebastian and Roland are working together Finding a military jeep,they search it for item's and supplies,Roland find ammo for his weapon and Sebastian find a map circled in it is a Military Outpost outside of town saying Extraction point.

Sebastian:Hey look!! There's a Base just down this road and it say's extraction so does that mean they'll evacuate the people who survived...?

Roland:Could be..or they might just abandon the town and just nuke it...

Sebastian:That's insane why!?

Roland:Think about it,this city got infected in a few hour's if it spread to the rest of the world..One town destroyed is a smart move weighing the importance of survival..

Sebastian:Then let's get moving now!! I don't want to die,not like this!!

Roland:Well this isn't a great Vehicle but it'll get us there fast you'll have to clear a path for us..

Sebastian:I dont have many explosive's left so I'll just use this AK-47 It's the only gun I have left at the moment...

Roland and Sebastian jump inside the Jeep as they drive down the road they take the Highway to the Base since it would be faster to move around,about five mile's away from they run into a semi with a tiger image on the side the door's clawed open,they stop and look nervous..

Roland: Don't tell me this can infect animal's too..

Sebastian:Look we can go around it let's go I dont want to find out if they can be infected or not!!

Roland drives around it fast,as they drive past 2 set's of Glowing Red eye's open in the shadow's of the Semi Trailer walking out are two tiger's eaten on by the Zombie's they have become Zombie Tiger's and smelt fresh meat,they both jump down and chase the jeep.

As Roland check's his mirror's by instinct he see's them chaseing them..

Roland:I Think we have our answer..!! Sebastian!! Take em down!!

Sebastian:Right..!

Sebastian look's back and aims for one of the tiger's and nails the side of it's head,as he shoot's they become faster and faster..

Sebastian:..Shit they're too fast.. Sorry Roland..

Roland: Don't worry about--

As Roland look's over he see's that Sebastian jumped out and rolled on the ground leaving his gun,Sebastian stand's up smiling as the Tiger's jump on him the two pin's holding the grenade's fly past them...They explode loudly killing Sebastian and the Tiger's

Roland: Damn...Dumb kid..why'd you go and do that..

Roland roar's past in the jeep approaching the base

Roland Obtained a AK-47 and 2 Clip's of Ammo for it

Sub-Chapter:A Loner's Resolve​

Wandering in the Police Station,he see's two survivor's run off in a jeep,he looks around the station and see's a Weapon Case on the floor by the desk of a Officer,He open's it and find's a Grenade Launcher along with it is 5 Shell's,he limps over and take's the case with him along with a couple clip's left on the desk.

Shace:With this I can follow behind them without worrying about anything getting in the way..Wonder if there is a Vehicle I can use to follow them..

Shace enter's the Garage and find's a Riot Truck with a snow plow equipped on the grill of it..He think's to himself "Score..!!" He slowly limp's over to it and climb's inside,he look's back and see's some more weapon's and ammo,as he tries to close the door a hand grab's the door,in reaction Shace draw's his gun and unload's on the Zombie,slamming the door closed and locking the door's,he also raises the Iron Window's so he doesn't have to worry about the undead trying to break in.

He hotwire's the Truck and break's down the Gate he drive's down the road following the two people who left before him following the trail of Dead Zombie's left in their wake,as he drives up the highway he notice's a flash of light and smoke,praying that something bad didn't happen ahead he drive's faster passing a fallen Semi,about a mile out he see's the smoke cloud loom as bodies of a man and 2 Zombified Tigers lie motionless on the ground,he drives forward praying that the other man made it out safely.

About another mile down the highway he hear's a voice over the Radio built into the Truck..

Radio:This is General -static-,We will commence the bombing of the City of Washington D.C. As soon the President and all V.I.P's have been evacuated,We Will commence bombing within 2 hour's I repeat 2 hour's Hold the Line's of defence till that time..

Shace:..The Fuck what about the Civilian's!!Damn it,I gotta get outta here..!!

As the Radio Fizzle's out he approaches the Military Base as he approaches he see's other vehicle's pull up and stop.

Shace and the Other Survivor's gain,20 Clip's of Each type of Ammunition,a Grenade Launcher with 5 shell's,2 9mm Handgun's,1 M16 Carbine,1 Sniper Rifle,and 2 shotgun's

Chapter End of Endgame I​

The Survivor's all pull up in their respective Vehicle's but to their fear the base is abandoned,engulfed in flame's there are dead zombies and soldier's everywhere,the survivor's all ponder what to do next and figure out how to survive the current situation.


((OOC:This was incredibly long but now it's all finished if I made a mistake one where you were please tell me and I'll correct it but aside from that the RP is reopened and cleaned out from inactive's lets try to not let this happen again ;P))

Chapter III:New Friend's​

As the Hummer come's to a stop Aaron open's the door and to his shock the Base is deserted flame's and bodies of Undead,Soldier,and Survivor's are strewn about everywhere Trucks,ammo and supplies are still around along with a military radio.

Aaron:..Damn....This isn't what I expected....

Aaron walk's over to the desk looking for map's or extraction point's for the base...but nothing...not even a extraction point for the Survivor's/Soldiers...

Aaron:...God..Were they planning on leaving us all here to die..Hmm what's that..?

Aaron Hear's a small voice on the Radio

Radio: Outpost A-5 Respond,What is your status?!

Aaron Pick's up the comm

Aaron:Sorry to say but this outpost is destroyed along with it most of the survivor's and soldier's within...

Radio:Who is this..?

Aaron:My Name's Aaron I'm a Uninfected Survivor,we have a small group of survivor's here that are not infected can we get extracted by chopper??

Radio:..........Sorry,I have order's to not extract anyone from A-5 due to a Outbreak Beacon a Soldier turned on but if you truly are not infected get out of there within a hour..

Aaron:Why a hour?

Radio:We...We will be bombing Washington D.C. with a Tactical Nuke in under a hour now,the higher ups have decided to erase the whole city to keep the infection from spreading anymore..

Aaron:What's the safe distance from the base then!?

Radio:About...20 mile's you need to hurry if you plan on Surviving get your butt's in gear......Out..

Aaron: Damn it..

Aaron Run's over to the group of survivor's who gathered around a fire talking about event's in the city..

Roland Ives - The Change

As Roland began to drive his large van something started to happen to him. At one time he wished to use this bus to carry rescued people, and then everything changed.


A terror within Rolands mind grew like a disease through his body, and he instantly knew what was happening. Rolands skin began to pull and tighten as he felt insanity pressing agaisnt the inside of his skull.


The van slid to a stop on the road as Roland spasmed wildly inside, the change had begun to take form. His thoughts began to fade into madness and hunger as the intelligent killing machine slowly transformed into a living dead.


But something was different about this zombie. The hunger for flash had stayed the same, the anger was pure, and his cruelty had switched sides. But deep inside of this beast, a small fragment of Roland still lived.


His face looked like hell, and deep within his mind, he waged war agaisnt the evil that was consuming him, as he wandered off, still carrying his pistol while he staggered.

Bugger it all!

Aria had watched in horror as Anastasia took a running leap from the top of the engine and intentionally set off the car alarm of a nearby. It worked wonders on the zombies as hordes of them moved from around the fire truck to where Anastasia was right now. Unfortunately, it was a one way trip. Her life was forfeited the moment she departed from the truck.

No... sacrificed is more appropriate...

There was not much they could do but to move on ahead. Where they were going was up to Rhys as he had the wheel.

Well.... what now? Where do we go? We got a veritable tank and a full tank of fuel and supplies

Megan kept quiet, watching as Anastasia rushed to sacrifice herself. She knew there was to be a need for someone to help hold back the horde, and for a brief moment, she was contemplating doing so. So when the girl leaped forward, she felt a small sense of relief, and of sadness.

"Yeah, I've no idea where we could go. How far can this thing take us?"
 

Another death, Rhys shook his head as he tried to hide his terrified expression. He couldn't handle any more death. Not today, he was to emotional and fragile at this moment as unmanly as that sounds. He thought a small thank you to the woman who traded her life to save theirs. What a brave soul she must have been and they were only just starting to get to know each other.

Then his thoughts were taken from him as the other girls spoke up.

Well.... what now? Where do we go? We got a veritable tank and a full tank of fuel and supplies

"Yeah, I've no idea where we could go. How far can this thing take us?"

Rhys thought a moment, where would be the safest place to take these girls, where would be safer than a fire station?? He then remembered.

"There's an army base not too far from here. We could try there, it's a long shot though, I don't know how secure an unmanned base is..."

He then turned the engine around and down another main road and within a ten minutes the base came into view.

There didn't seem to be any zombies near here just yet, thank goodness.

"Well ladies, here we are..." Rhys pulled the engine up right near the door so they didn't have to travel too far if there were zombies lurking about. "Hopefully the doors aren't locked..."

He stepped out of the fire-truck and pulled the shotgun they kept under the seat for desperate situations (it wasn't a common practice amongst fire men) and axe he collected from the station and kept look out. "You girls try the door, I'll look out for any of them monsters."

Made sense. A military base with armed and trained soldiers would be a good place to go for extraction as they can hold off an attack and probably scan for those that are infected rather easily. It was a perfect choice. And while they were there, Aria was wondering if she could scavange a few guns for themselves. She had her pistol and her Mare's Leg and Rhys had his shotgun, but Megan was still underarmed.

Perhaps a MP7 or a 9mm pistol would be good for her?

With her probably non exsistant firearms experience, Megan would probably benefit from the smaller rounds and larger ammo capacity. After ten more minutes, the truck pulled up outside the military base. The silence and lack of movements was disturbing. There was no lifesigns around, let alone an evac point.

Great.... not a single person...

"Well ladies, here we are...Hopefully the doors aren't locked..."

Well, even if it is, we can just break in. i mean... it looks deserted.....

"You girls try the door, I'll look out for any of them monsters."

Aria nodded and swung one of the packs onto her back before cocking her pistol. There was no need to take risks. While Rhys went to be the lookout, Aria went towards the door. It swung inwards to the left, so Aria took position to the left. When the door opened, she would have a clear sight down the gap.

Megan. Can you be a dear and try the door. Just try to keep low and out of my line of fire.

Luke Trizel​

During the Recent Event's Luke was hoping the military was still at the base but as they pulled up to his disbelief he see's the base engulfed in flame's Survivor's and Soldier's Bodies strewn about the ground with the infected somehow all dead,as they Stop Aaron opened the door looking for supplies if anything he seemed the most calm during the situation...

Luke:...Damn,everyone's gone... I'd better give him a hand if this post is compromised then they may call in a air strike to purge the area...

Luke get's out of the vehicle as he does he see's that a group of vehicle's pulling up to the base stopping and curious people cautiously getting out of their vehicle's.

Luke:Hey don't worry it seem's like they managed to kill all the Dead here if you can gather around this fire here and we'll discuss thing's in a moment!

He see's a Medic's corpse on the ground and kick's it to make sure it's actually dead seeing as it hasn't moved he grabs the pack from his body walk's over to the fire ready to treat any wound's the other's may have gotten

Shace finally reaches the base and limp's out from his Armored Van,he hear's a man's voice by the Fire.

Hey don't worry it seem's like they managed to kill all the Dead here if you can gather around this fire here and we'll discuss thing's in a moment!

Shace: Phew good there are other's who made it here...but whats with all these bodies...Did this place get overrun?

He walk's up to Luke to let him tend to his leg,Luke cut's the cloth around the wound off and takes out the debris in his leg,disinfect's it,and patches the wound up.

Shace:I Managed to get a Armored Vehicle we can store weapon's,ammo and supplies in it.

He see's others in a Firetruck,a other man who looks Sickly((Roland)),and a young man talking on a radio looking flustered..

Shace:Not too many of us made it out of there...But this is better than nothing..

The hummer come's to a stop and Aaron and Luke leave the hummer,he slowly peak's out afraid of seeing more undead,having enough of this stuff he turn's the hummer back on and drives off,He run's from the group and head's south,as he does so he see's metal object's in the road,he drives down highway ignoring them and hit's one of them as soon as he does the ground explodes and send's launches the hummer into the air and it land's on it's side.

Matvey:Uhhh...-cough-those were land mines..?

Matvey crawl's out of the damaged hummer and limp's into the wood's as he does he is ambushed by a group of soldier's,he limp's over too them reaching out,thinking that he is a Undead they shoot him,his body taking many hit's killing him slowly,when the gunfire stop's their gun's smoking his lifeless body fall's to the ground.

((OOC:Sorry for that weird death but it seemed to fit his character somewhat))

Luke stared around the base with fear slowly filling him. Even if the base was overrun or they left it to take care of these zombies there should've been a sign of something, well right now it didn't matter however what did matter was getting some better equipment. He looked around at the group that was assembled before them. He knew by seeing the roads they had little hope of getting out of the blast radius within the hour. Only two choices would work, get one of the up-mounted hummers that could go off road which was a plus since it had a 50 cal mount on top, or they could go for a tank or two which could survive the blast.

"Ok things like a little grim here but most things seem intact. I'm from this base so if you would please listen to what I have to say, it would be appreciated. A couple more blocks down from here is our armory, and then two blocks from there is the motor pool. We need to split up into two groups with at least three going to the motor pool. We could use at least two tanks from there and an up-mounted hummv. The tanks will be good if they call in an airstrike or nuke the area, they are durable to withstand both and can provide us with safe cover. The Hummv well it can go off road and has a 50 cal mount on top for a little extra firepower. Rest of should go to the armory and pick up any weapons left. Thankfully since this is a major base there will be ammo in the next building for whatever we can grab."

Aaron:Alright then you heard the Soldier let's gather up anything we can get you have 10min's get as many supplies as possible and load them into each vehicle,The Hummer will proceed first ahead of the tank's to the safe zone in each of these map's,Please wait there till we're able to catch up in these.

Aaron Hand's a Map to Shace,Rhys,and the last one he keeps for himself each map is circled the building in said circle is outside the blast radius the building itself is a Gas station.

Aaron:For now Luke and I will take one of the tank's since we'll need to gather intel on what to do next,Those who came in the Firetruck should take the hummer since you have some Civilian's with you,and the two of you should take the 2nd Tank((Shace and Roland)).

Once he's said that he goes back to the command center and salvage's any Radio's,map's of the area,etc. and begin's loading the tank

((OOC:I think this would be the best,those in the hummer will reach the gas station first and get captured by the US Military,now you wont know where your at till we're all captured ^-^))

Shace:Right then come on you let's go unload the Armored Truck I brought with me,I have alot of gun's and ammo in it we'll probably need along the road..

He look's back at the man and grab's his shoulder.

Shace:You alright there guy?

Megan stifled her fear. Considering the numerous zombies that had already populated the entire city, she was ever fearful of a surprise attack the moment she opened the door. The last thing they needed was a horde of zombies to encircle them. They had just escaped from a precarious position after all.

Nevertheless, Aria seemed confident enough, and using that as a source of motivation, Megan approached the door, grabbing the knob. Heaving a muffled sigh, she twisted it and pushed it slowly. Thankfully, it slid open quietly enough.

She looked over to Aria. The latter's expression was probably going to be a reflection of what was behind the door.
 
Roland Ive : A new perspective

The world looked darker, and angrier for the mutated man. He stumbled along the road as a darkness took hold of him.

His eyes flashed upon a staircase leading down what he once knew was a subway, but now was unfamiliar.

The savages feet toppled quickly down the stairs with wild speed as almost though he could see in the darkness.

When he reached the bottem of the stairs he saw a human who had been hiding, get torn down by another Zombie.

Hungry was the only thing The mutated Roland could feel. It burned into what was left of his mind. The beast did not consider his next move before he made it.

The zombie Roland sprinted full force into the other zombie, and with powerful strength ripped the other zombies head off in a single motion. Afterwards he sunk his teeth into the decaptated head.

Roland began to devour the brains of the zombie with ferocity and the injured woman crawled away screaming and crying.

Roland stopped eating the brains of the beast and looked at the woman crawling away... who stared right back into his lifeless eyes.

The once intelligent man continued eating the zombie as the random woman escaped, knowing full well that this beast was not satisfying his hunger.
