I think this anti-rape condom is, well, stupid. It would potentially anger the attacker, and if the woman was helpless enough to get stripped down, then she better be wearing some New Balances because the rapist is going to go ape shit.
If a woman wants to protect herself, have some pepper spray. That is actually a lot more effective because it blinds the attacker. Or better yet, buy a pistol.

People can find ways to misuse anything to the detriment of others. That's not an indictment of the product itself, just people. If misuse made something bad, the Internet is the most evilest thing ever invented.

I'd have to disagree there, from what I personally hear the numbers are starting to balance out between the genders, just that men don't report it as often, and aren't as often taken seriously when they do, sad thing about our society really. Also, could we say how useful the info is, considering the date of it's release being over 10 years ago?
I'd have to argue it's more a case that society itself panders to women moreso, and assuming what you said is true, just because it happens less to one gender doesn't mean it needs to be put under the rug for them.

I have utterly no sympathy for a "man" who rapes a woman, tbh I think the barbs aren't punishment enough but hell he'll never get it off without Surgery and even then he'd be thrown into jail right after they patch his little guy up.
I always feel for the female victim in these cases because as mentioned before alot of Rapists get away with it due to various reasons ((Such as a woman fearing testifying against the rapist, The woman being to scarred by the incident to be any help in capturing said rapist, etc.))

The product in question is a form of self-defense. None of those things you listed qualify as self-defense.
