I suppose that's quite accurate, though the perception questions annoy me. How many people get up in the morning, phone one of their friends and casually slip into the conversation "by the way, do you think I'm cold and distant?". Ridiculous. Irrelevant.

my results were all low i was surprised because the last time i had a personality test it said i was obsessed with myself not trusting others etc etc

:gasp:!

Not sure if I agree with some of those though... I can't see how I am both high with histrionic and avoidant. :ness: I guess what I probably meant when answering was that I wouldn't mind a bit praise here and there, but not to the extent that I'm flaunting myself, as I don't do that at all. :ness:

I either answered "wouldn't mind praise - yes" or accidentally clicked a yes on one of the others, in which case the whole thing probably hasn't worked for me though I was 100% truthful 99% of the time :monster:.

As for the others, many of them do fit what I feel I guess. Wasn't expecting them to come up so extreme on the test though.

As for being narcissistic... While I resent that result a lot, as I am one of the biggest morons with the weirdest faces of all time, some-one has to love me right? Until I drug myself a girl I'll just have to love myself for the time being! But I don't act self-centred at all, especially not like that description, and that also conflicts with many of the other results as well... And it claims that by being this I am very picky about friends.... That's bollocks because I'd like to be friends with anyone and see good in just about anyone as well. On the whole I think that result is untrue.

So for me... Some of them fit... Some of them I am convinced have either errored, or I accidentally got confused in the fact that there were like a 100 yes/ no answer boxes and read one question and ticked the wrong box.

I can't possibly be ALL of that. That's like really crazy! :gonk:

EDIT - In fact... I now feel very crazy! I'll be locked up and barking like a dog within a year. :sad2:

... holy hell I'm fucked up :D I don't agree with most of these, I think the test is a bit... skewed. I'm paranoid, probably a bit schizoid, a tad antisocial, probably narcissistic, and definitely obsessive-compulsive.

I don't really agree with the rest of it, I don't think the test was all that great. I've had to go to counseling and crap before, and this isn't what I was told there. I'm a bit more inclined to believe a proper psychiatrist than an online quiz thingie.

What I should have wrote in my first post is that these things are never all that accurate. Normally they are just there to pass the time.

Now, quite some time ago I had the pleasure of finding this 200 question quiz that was accurate as hell. It gave you a break down of everything about you. If I could find that again, I would post it, however... Who the fuck wants to sit through 200 questions?

Yeah i think people know these tests are inacurate. Either theyre showing you something thats false or telling you something you already know. And a person with with as many problems as this test could indicate is sure as hell gunna know hes messed up and in need of help. These test are for fun more than anything. Changing one anser could completely change the way your results turn out. All for fun. =/

I think I agree with most of this. I'm a little surprised narcissism wasn't higher though. I'm definitely very paranoid though, it picked up on that nicely. It's very interesting though, regardless of how accurate it is xD

Really? I don't consider myself being narcissistic, it's my contrary.

Don't be ashamed of your narcissism! Narcissism is awesome, everyone should dwell in the awesomeness of Narcissism.

Interesting test, although I would agree with the people before me who think that this test is inaccurate. The human mind is too complex to be analysed by an online test. But with that said, I'm not that surprised with my results.

Wow, well my answers are pretty much to the point, no beating around the bush with 'moderate' xD
They don't seem to bother me as much but the one that does bother me a bit is the whole 'narcissistic' thing. I never thought of my self as self-centered or anything of the sort, but once I read the symptoms and everything, some of the points to describe me.
I don't like it, but I don't think I can change it. =/ Then again, it can't be all that bad seeing how its just 'high and not 'very high'
Ah well. =)

Seems pretty normal to me. I am paranoid, most of the times, and rather wary about sharing personal details- which is why none of my closest friends knows my deepest secrets, as well as my kins.

Schizoid... Hm. Not exactly, but it isn't exactly wrong to put me under that label either.

If I was bored enough (which i frequently am) I probably would as well haha

Meh, I can't seem to find the 200 question one. So here is the Myers-Briggs personality quiz instead. (More accurate than the quiz in the OP.) And the Jung personality quiz.

Jung: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

Myers Briggs: http://www.personalitytest.net/cgi-bin/q.pl

My Jung results:

Your Type is
INTJ

You are:
 • very expressed introvert
 • moderately expressed intuitive personality
 • very expressed thinking personality
 • moderately expressed judging personality
My Myers-Briggs results:

Your personality type is INTJ Type descriptionsOn the basis of your answers to the test you are placed in one of sixteen types. What type you are says quite a bit about you - your likes and dislikes, your likely career choices, your compatibility with others, and so on. Click here to read about your personality type.
Type watching in team situations
Having information about personality types and preferences can be quite useful. Once you understand the basic personality preferences under which people operate, as well as your own preferences, you can begin to find ways to more effectively work with opposite types or even your own type. Through type watching, you can find ways to build upon people's strengths and improve many group activities, such as time management, conflict resolution, problem solving, and team building.

Well, I found them both to be quite accurate. Still some flaws in my honest opinion, but more accurate than the last one.

EDIT: I got some fun facts about my personality too. Here they are:

INTJ: "Scientist". Most self-confident and pragmatic of all the types. Decisions come very easily. These are the most independent of all types. They love logic and ideas and are drawn to scientific research. They can be rather single-minded, though.. 1% of the total population.

(Little bastards called me simple-minded... I'd have you know that my thoughts and opinions are rather complex. Bloody wankers.)

INTJs’ precision thinking and need for accuracy causes them to be inflexible at times. Having thought out a strategy, the INTJ may stubbornly disregard those who they think have not spent as much time reflecting on an idea as they have. This, along with their drive to produce something significant, can make them demanding and difficult. If their plans and solutions fall short of their high standards, INTJ's feel pressured — as if everything is on the line. "Everything," for an INTJ, is the competence and ability to produce something significant. Fear of not living up to this expectation will increase their stress and possibly dissuade them from risking or trying out their ideas. They may then find themselves thinking about ideas that do not have a meaningful or productive end.

When stress increases, the INTJ can become argumentative and disagreeable. Social interaction, which is not their strength, becomes increasingly difficult for them. Not trusting their own abilities, they become preoccupied with obsessive notions. The INTJ may then find themselves spending an inordinate amount of time fighting horrible thoughts, tempting absurdities, and feelings of worthlessness. Fearful of others recognizing their perceived failure, the INTJ incessantly ruminates about mistakes, inadequacies, weaknesses, ineptness, and incompetence. Because this distracts them from risking what little confidence they may have left in themselves, it therefore keeps them from obtaining the success and achievement they so desperately need.

Careers

This lists represent careers and jobs people of your type tend to enjoy doing. The job requirements are similar to the personality tendencies of your personality type. It is important to remember that this is not a list of all the jobs possible. And it is very important to remember that people can, and frequently do, fill jobs that are dissimilar to their personality... this happens all the time...and sometimes works out quite well.

management consultant
economist
scientist
computer programmer
environmental planner
new business developer
curriculum designer

Just a reminder that this is Costa lovelies. >_<

Please no more one liners that are just chit chat. I realise that there wasn't much of it but it's still a no no.

Try to keep on track with the topic at hand and PM each other if you need something done please. =)
