Do you like to take pictures, do you like being on them? Do you get themn printed or do you keep them all on your PC? Do camwhores piss you off because they constantly have a camera in your face? :-)wacky:)

Just a general about photies thread really

Personally, I love my camera, can't live without it, along with my GHD's, it would be the one thing I would have to replace pretty darn sharpish if I completely killed it. It's being held together by cellotape at the moment (much like everything else I own)

I like getting in the pics too, I like to look back on them and lol at myself, I also like to dig out the old photies and have a bit of a nostaglia trip, and again, to lol at my hair/clothes/general state

I prefer to have the physical copies of them, rather than just foldered away on my pc. They are easy to get out and share rather than having to get at your pc to do it. Though every fuck sees them on facebook easy enough anyway, I just prefer to have them

I'd be a bit of a hypocriote if I hated folk with cameras, but I have to admit, I'm glad I'm the one that always carries the camera, I wait in anticipation, shitting myself, when other people take a cam out hahaha

My photo collection, and yes, all those albums are full :wacky:

Ellie's going to have a fucking field day when she grows up and has a badgers at those and the states I've been in, and the clothes, when I tell her her skirt is too short and shes like, at least I'M WEARING A SKIRT :rage:

So, you lot? :dave:

What's of me in tangible form is usually me as a kid in the bath with my small willy on display. I still show it to people though I'm not one of the majority who die of embarrassment everytime it comes up (the pics you gutterminds). As for taking pics that's usually down to my mates seeing as I'm not really the sort to take a camera out and about / upload, etc.

I do go on marathon untagging sprees on fb mind. But I've become lazy these days so please don't have a browse. :wacky:

I keep all my photos on the computer and usually put them up on Facebook. With the amount I have, I wouldn't have the money to publish them all. But it's nice being able to view them all on the laptop, I've got pictures of my little brother since the day he was born.

i only like about 20% of the photos i end up in when i'm out. people always seem to take them at the perfect time and i come out looking like a retard, like so:

60312_444146475100_509915100_5150556_6039413_n.jpg

as for taking them, i can't remember the last time i used the camera on my phone.

If it's any consolation to the camwhore haters, folk have had their revenge on me. Theres a couple of bad pics of me in my underwear, one of me on the loo (that emma has haha >_< thank god FB wasnt about then, though, it did do the rounds round the office, the cow) there's couuuuuntless of me looking half cut, and 2 of me with my boob out, unbeknownst to me :rage: I invested in tit tape after that :wacky:

I just stash them all on my computer and back them up on imgur or photobucket or something. I have some pictures that really do need to be printed out (especially if the mothership prods me to do it ever. single. day. :gonk:) . I like taking pictures rather than being the subject of them because I'm really not all that photogenic. In fact I think I look way better in real life than in any recent photo I've had. ._.

Photography is an artform. I bring my camera around on all trips now since I've bought it.

I try to take my camera with me when I can but I nearly always forget. Not real big on taking photos.

I have all my photos sorted in albums by the date on my computer at the moment.

I did just got and get a whole heap printed out with the intention of putting them in an album but I never seem to have a decent amount of time to do it.

Actually, lately all I've had is time during the weekends. Stupid rain. Could have been doing it then. >.<

Anyway, I used to hate getting my photo taken, but now I will gladly jump in any photo, simply because I want to remember the good times I had and be able to show my kids if I ever have any.

I don't really like cameras, I always have a weird expression when someone takes a picture of me, or look like a complete retard.

Probably the only pictures I have are the ones on Facebook... I don't have ANY picture of when I was a baby or something the only one was like when I'm about 9 then a 9 years of no pictures.

I hate camera's especially when am out for the night and someone shove's a camera in my face and everything goes white for a couple of second's fair enough I don't mind someone asking me to for a picture but asking for a picture every five minutes pisses me off.

I never take picture's I leave that to my friend's if something is good enough to remember than I will remember it I don't need a stupid picture.

I own a camera and I barely ever use it. I used to be the biggest cam whore. I'd take about 10-20 pictures a day and just load them all on to my pc. I'm not big into printing pictures out, I don't know why but I'd have them everywhere.

Lately thought I haven't been into taking pictures. I actually hate it now compared to when I used to love it. I only take a picture when I feel like updating my profile picture on facebook. Besides that though I'm just not a picture person

I absolutely HATE having my photograph taken. There are only four photographs of my face in existence in which I am above the age of fifteen: one is on Facebook, one is a group picture with some people I knew at College, one is of me with my little brother and my Aunt's little girl, and the final one is on my DSi XL, because I was messing about with the stuff.

I'm such a camwhore, though. I'm always taking pictures of myself, although the camera or my hair is in the way of my face. There are a few people who really want to know what I look like, part of the reason I do it is to antagonize them. xD

I prefer taking pictures of my stuff, though. Or other people or things. I don't go out very much with my family anymore, but whenever we do, I'm the one holding the best digital camera we have and taking all the pictures. I have my own digital camera, but its my mother's old one, so it leaves a lot to be desired...but its good enough to take pictures of my hair covering my face, so its good enough~

I consider myself to be a rather ugly human being and therefore, I hate having my picture taken. But I do take pictures of myelf attempting to look as ugly as possible. I make stupid faces and all that bullshit. I do it because of my philosophy that I also apply to my daily life: If things are gonna go bad, then might as well make things go as bad as humanly possible. I'm an ugly guy, so I take the ugliest pictures I can. If someone wants to take a picture of me, I go cross eyed or I squint and pucker my lips. Whatever I can do to make my ugly mug just that much more horrible.

I loathe taking pictures, it doesn't help either that everyone in both sides of the family are photogenic. :hmph:
The pictures i do take of myself for whatever reason are mostly out of boredem or to show off something i recently bought, but other than that i don't take pictures of myself. I do like taking pictures of different places that i go to though, i never seem to have my camera on me when i find a picture worth taking though.

I don't take pictures very often.

I do like to take photographs of nice things, but some times a moment has passed before it is possible to capture it on camera. If it is a photograph of a nice location, etc, then that is different as that doesn't move. Wildlife I like to take photos of if it is stationary, but that rarely happens. Unfortunately most animals get scared when you bend down next to them with a camera because you can't figure out how to zoom on your phone.

I'm not one of those folk who snap up pictures of everything that happens. My natural instinct upon seeing something strange would be to watch it with my eyes, and rarely do I even think about dipping my hand in my pocket, picking out my phone, searching for the camera option, aiming, and then taking a photo. Besides, it would then probably tell me that I've run out of memory for photographs, despite deleting five old photos just to make room for one. I do not understand this sort of thing. Cameras that are actual cameras by definition and purpose are the best sort for that sort of thing.

As for photographs of myself... I rarely have this done. The last photograph that I'm aware of which was taken of me was one I had with the writer (of comics, TV shows, Doctor Who, etc) Paul Cornell. I was lucky to attend a convention in London earlier in the year, and the occasion called for it. The last photograph before that was about 6 months before that, and that was, funnily enough, next to a Dalek at the Doctor Who experience in London. The sparsity of the photographs in question there represent how little I'm photographed willfully. Sure, there would have been other times between this when I've accidentally stepped into someone else's photograph, or similar things. I don't count those.

I've never taken photographs of myself in the mirror or anything. Actually I tried that once so that I could upload a photo of myself onto here (as I hadn't before at the time) and I felt silly. For me to do that it was silly. Proper moments where the camera actually calls for a photograph are much better, for me.

I have all my pictures of me with wrestlers I've met printed, framed, and hung on the walls in my room. Other pictures of things like my brothers or whatever actually just stay on the SD card. We don't want to put them in the computer out of fear of viruses. Anyway, I used to hate having my picture taken because I used to be afraid people would make fun of me and stuff like that. But now, I don't mind at all. I'm not exactly a camera whore, but if required/wanted I'll take a pic. My shyness is leaving more and more everyday! XD....... :wacky:

I got a snazzy new camera ages ago and since then, i didnt realy bother taking pics anymore, that said though, ive not had any developed for years, ive fianlly got round to doing 500 of them, and have another 700 or so to go before im back up to date, i think thats what was putting me off, the fact ive had such a backlog of pics to develop :gonk:

And i need a new camera, ive managed to knacker mine since gettign it even though i barely use it

i do wonder though, if maybe its just that i dont go out much anymore, im quite happy to sit in with wine than drag myself out anywhere :lew:
