Thanks to Mercurial (Hope Estheim), we have a new layout :) Check out the cool banner with the embedded navigation.

If you have feedback, or notice any technical issues (for instance there may be some minor icon color clashes), post them here. A reminder - if any changes are made to fix icons etc., remember to force refresh to reload images (typically, Ctrl-F5).

If you prefer the old layout, you may still use the Quick Style Chooser found on the botton left of the forums to use the old style.

Well the new skin is pretty awesome and everything is fine as far as I can see. :monster: only thing I have to say is the MSN Icon there >_>; The one says online or offline the white around it doesn't seem right at all. D: Everything else is perfect, THankies Ryan. :awesome:

I'll get that changed, I think I must have saved it using a while background rather than a transparent one.

<= I need the colour of the colour of that changed as well, I couldn't see the post bits on the test forum so was unable to see what needed changing.

Also, for anyone who doesn't really like it (I know not everyone likes change), I apologize. See it as a stepping stone, it allows other skins to be made available in the future and if you wish, scoll down to the bottom of the forum (just above the numbers) and the quick style chooser is just there :)

I have to say I'm impressed, the site looks really good.

Good job Mercurial. My hat's off to you.
 
The PM buttons (some of them are larger than others) and status icons have been edited and should be fixed once LG has time to replace the current ones.

The "stickied" threads, that bar at the top and the profile info on the left hand side should also follow the same colour scheme as the layout once LG has time to edit that as well rather than being the same colour as the other layout. :)
 
Wow guys... this is awesome. I love the color scheme, the text, and obvoiusly the chocobos :P

No but the banner is absolutely amazing. I love how you can see Midgar in the background but then the characters from other games just flow right in.
 
Ryan you did an incredible job! I absolutely love the new layout. It makes for an awesome change for the site. Major kudos to you. <3
 
It does look really good, but the striped background kinds hurts my eyes, even when I don't focus on it. The forum is really... orange now as it was grayish blue. I like it, but I would ad some contrast here and there. Orange on this grayish brown background feels kinda... idk. Constricting? Anyway, + Rep
 
My only problem is the brightness of the colours against the background, it hurts my eyes, other than that it's really really good, but I can't use it because it will give me migrains and I already have the brightness and contrast turned right down on my pc ]:

It IS awsome though Ryan, it's about time we had summat new too look at, just a shame I can't use it haha

I love it so far XD I'll be using it until the bright colors kill my eyes, at least :) Excellent job, Ryan!
 
All people considering repping Merculiar should rep me instead, I consider myself the most important factor in this change. But obviously I can't take all the credit, Ryan did a lot of work and for that he should be congratulated on a job very well done.
 
Omg wow Ryan I really love the new site layout. Its so awesome. I love the banner and gold text and blue rep bars! You did a very good job Ryan! :awesome:

Awesome job, Ryan! ;) I'm loving the whole new stylish look. I know just how much work you really put into it, so you better feel proud. =]

Now, I do have an inquiry, LG. I noticed with this skin that the board is a bit off-centered. I checked the old skin and sure enough, it's also off-centered a bit but not as noticeable. Has it always been like this? I can't really remember since I just noticed it last night when the new skin was up.
