Also that little guy smooshed under his feet looks hilarious. XD

Well, after nearly 5 days I finished the Inuyasha Christmas drawing of death! :lew: I hope it meets your guys's expectations! Below is the description of what's going on in here!

This is what my imagination popped up with, but you all can feel free to use yours and depict your very own scenario. Basically we've got Inuyasha and Kagome making out under the mistletoe of course! Sango and Miroku have just arrived back at the hut with a Christmas Tree that the two went to find. Sango could possibly be either giggling over catching the happy couple under the mistletoe or giggling over little Kirara wanting to help put up decorations and getting herself all tangled in Christmas lights that Kagome probably brought with her forgetting that the feudal era doesn't have electricity. Miroku is most likely getting ideas while watching Inu and Kagome.

We have a very cranky Sesshoumaru, and can you guess why? Well, I'd say it's most likely because Rin talked him into letting her tie Christmas bows all over his fluffy and Jaken, being the obnoxious little imp that can be with his big mouth, probably said something to set Sesshoumaru's temper off thus getting his head pounded, hence all the lumps and bruises and scratches on him.

Poor Jaken. Then of cours we have Shippo who's completely oblivious to everything going on around him as he's about to dive into a candy cane that Kagome most likely so graciously brought him. And that's my interpretation! LOL

Awesome Inuyasha fan art is awesome! :D It's really good, and I really love Kirara in that picture. (I hope I spelled that right.) It must have taken a really long time to finish it. You can clearly see the time, the amount of devotion and inspiration that went into it.

I give it a 1124971390738457923/10. ^_^ I would kill to be able to draw like that. :)
 
Awww poor Sessh... although I kinda feel worse for Jaken 8F I'm sure he deserved it.. but still 8F

Rin's so cute, and so is Kirara x3 I love the Christmas bows on Sessh's "fluffy" :wacky:

Shippo looks so happy with his candy cane, and Miroku and Sango look like they had fun getting the tree :jess:

Such a happy Christmas drawing.. almost makes me forget that I hate Christmas songs and puts me in the mood for them... 8F
 
It looks simply gorgeous coloured in!

Very festive and has a nice warm feeling about it.

Such gorgeous detail and the expressions on all of their faces is so life like!

I simply love the stockings in the background with all their names on them! It's so well detailed!

The cat looks so cute covered in Christmas lights too. <3

That's some awesome stuff, especially the expressions on people's faces, it's brilliant :ryan: The details are amazing, everything from the texture of the wood to the detail of the hair to the colouring is simple brilliant. It's apparent that you spent such a long time working on it and you've done a brilliant job. Awesome work!
 
Ahhh thanks everybody!! :D That drawing...I swear it took years off my life, or something like that anyway. :wacky: Nah, it was fun to do, just really challenging and it took agesssssssss. :gonk: Anywho, today I bring you just a sketch. It's a cute one mind you! It's of my two original characters Kyelinn (with the braids) and Celeste (with the ponytail) Soooo enjoy! :yay:

Well, originally I had wings on them, but after I finished the wings I didn't like the way they turned out, so I decided to eliminate them. Anyway, here are my Christmas chibis Kyelinn and Celeste! Merry Christmas everybody! :D

With this type of drawing I would consider you submit your stuff to a children's author, I'm sure they would love to see some of your work. This stuff is real good. Keep up the good work Mandi.
 
The outfits of awesome and I love the doll reindeer :awesome: Everything's perfect and it's obvious you've spent a lot of time working on it. Amazing stuff! :D
 
Thanks sooooo much for the kind comments as always you guys! It really means a lot, you have no idea and it keeps me kicked in the arse so I'll keep making more arts! February- I actually didn't do any art because I was in a massive slump that whole month, but I did do a few pieces in March, this one in particular on March 1st, so since the date is so close to Feb, I figured I'd compensate for that month and put this piece up for Feb. March- I experimented with the eyes some, wanting to give them the more full crimson affect and practiced a bit more with the skin shading a highlighting, but not too much of a difference really. April- I decided to do some traditional cell-shading since it had been so very long since I'd cell shaded tbh. I really don't think it turned out half bad! July- Ummm I actually didn't do anything this month as this was probably the worst month in my entire life, so I'm gonna scatter some pieces to compensate. August- I was just getting back into the swing of things. I've put a Sept piece up to compensate for August's since I went a whole month without doing anything and it took almost another month in between to work on anything. September- I did A LOT of art in this month. I think I got kicked into serious art mode at this point, but my favourite piece in particular is the one I did of Kyelinn. With this one, I worked more with skin and clothing textures, denim in particular, so I'm quite pleased how this one turned out. October- Fangirl mode! lol The new Inuyasha anime came out this month (I think?) and I decided to draw my favourite character, Kikyo! This one I decided to go ahead and cell-shade since I hadn't cell-shaded in ages. I quite enjoy this method of shading. November- I practiced a new art style this month! I wanted to try drawing a new face style and I really should practice with it more, tbh <.< but I've been neglecting it and been lazy haha. I guess I'm just comfortable with the style I have now, but I really should get braver and broaden my horizons I suppose. I used Kyelinn with this one. December- Ahhh this piece nearly KILLED me! xD It had 9 characters in it, not to much all the Christmas decorations and detailing I did. It took me 5 days to complete the piece, but I went with the cell-shading again on this one and decided to get a little bolder and add a bit more darker shading bits and more colors. Well, all in all I don't really know if I have improved or not this year. I didn't draw as much as I would have liked this year, tbh. I had a very very tough year. I lost a lot of things, some people I loved in my life, some things that had happened last year kinda stuck with me and I was doubting myself, trashing on myself a lot and it was just...ugh. I won't go into details. Those of you who do know, probably know what I'm on about. xD So yeah, roll on 2010! Let's hope this is a better year for me in art and in general as my mood and current state of mind genuinely reflects my focus and the quality of my work. Anyway, thanks though to everybody for the constant support. I know I've had a person here just recently tell me how much I suck ass and I know there's room for improvement, but for such a shitty year, I didn't do TOO bad, I suppose. I know I can get better. I just need to work on it.

Each month was amazing, especially December! You've kept on improving with your art as you go along this year and let's hope 2010 will be an even better year.
