Well, I felt it was time to make a new art thread seeing as my old one is very cluttered and full of really old artwork. Sooooooooo, this is my new thread! I'll be updating this first post with all my stuff as I post it as well as making a new post each time I make something new. My art ranges from Final Fantasy to Anime to Original pieces. I hope you guys enjoy this thread as much as my old one and find it easier to navigate so you can view my work! x3 These are all so GORGEOUS, Mandi. I think the hair is my favorite in most of them, tbh. It always looks so shiny and like it takes ages and just amazing xD

Kikyou looks horribly sad in that last one there.. poor dear D: I love the tree and her tears though, it all looks so good Hmm... was the tree or the hair harder? XD

Sesshomaru and Rin.. omnomnomnomnom. They're so CUTE together x3 I looooove the background on this one... *subtly sets as desktop >.>*

OMG you coloured in the latest one!

It's so beautifully sad.

I simply love that soul eater things design. He's eyes look truly freaky and that glow around him looks fantastic!

I love those little glowing snow balls too. They just fit in so wonderfully.

Fantastic detail and shading on her outfit and the hair looks stunning!

You've really captured the emotion in this one again!

Thanks so much, Kandy! Those are actually called Soul Collectors or in Japanese, Shinidamachuu. They gather souls and bring them to her. Those glowing balls of light are disconnected souls about to go inside her. Usually at night, those are always seen around Kikyou, that's how you know she's near. Anyway, I'm so glad you liked it! Thank you!!

Loving this new thread Mandi. It is so easy to navigate through and has all of your art from what it seems. The color of the last one (as someone previously mentioned) is freakin amazing. Keep up the good work!

Anyway, this is a sketch I did last night of my OCs Kyelinn and Celeste. They're little chibi models or something! xD Anyway I'm working on coloring these two right now.

Mandi, I just adore your work! i think one of my very favorites out of all of them would HAVE to be Cotton Candy's Night Flight. She's just so adorable. 8F And the detail work you do on all your work amazes me!

And also, I wish I could get my sketches looking that great! Mine are scritchy-scratchy scrawls that I can barely make out myself. XD

I do love the latest Chibi one, the hair looks amazing and it's only in sketch form so start with, as with the eyes. It's starting to come along really nicely. I really love the poses too! Can't wait to see it finished

So I'm getting kinda bored with my current anime-style I have going on. It's just...I dunno, I'm not satisfied with it anymore. I need something fresh. I wanted to try doing some changes. I changed how I draw face shapes, changed the eyes and lips totally, and I wanted to see what you guys thought. I figured my first practice would be with Kyelinn. I may try and do the new art style in Celeste next but I just thought I'd let you guys see and get your opinions. I really want something that I can call my own, a style that I've created all by myself that's mine. So yeah...let me know what you guys think! ^^;

its good to test your creativity and go beyond what you are used to, i did it and ive discovered a whole never leve4l of art I love, its always something new and if it works its new and enjoyable ;D

I personally feel that you should choose something that you feel is your own. That's just me, then again, I'm no real artist (I am good with drawing faces so that's a surprise), so my opinions are generally moot.

I love your attention to the detail particularly in the eyes. After scanning through your artwork, I can't believe how many you have done. So many, yet all beautiful and very detailed! I can imagine it must have been exceptionally time consuming.

What really grabs me is they way the hair is drawn. It looks absolutely fantastic and really adds flow to the woman making it more realistic and giving it that extra 'oomf'.
I would say it adds life to the drawings.
