For all you non Australian idiots a lolly is candy or sweets.

Anyway, do you prefer lollies or chocolate and what is you favourite flavour/kind?

I prefer lollies over chocolate but I love them both really.
My favourite kind of lollies are Chico babies, sherbies, jungle jollies but only the red ones and also raspberry twists. :toni: They are all rather delicious!
My favourite kind of chocolates is usually Mint chocolate....sooo goood.

Now you :toni:

The name calling I'm getting today is amazing! XD LOL

Anyway, I'll go with chocolate here. Just the other day I ate a whole box of chocolates. I would never be able to eat candy like that. I've tried it on various Halloween's, but to no avail.

Chocolate is my partner in crime.

Oh, my favorite chocolate is dark chocolate.

Chico babies are chocolate flavoured. :ahmed:

Tough call. It often depends on my mood. But overall I'm going to go with Chocolate. I only really like milk chocolate though. Dark chocolate is too bitter. White chocolate is ok, but I never buy it by itself. I do like chocolate with orange though. Hazelnut or caramel chocolate is great and I have been known to indulge in a Cadbury snack every once and a while. :tehe:

But there are several problems with chocolate. I don't like it when the weather is too hot. Also it doesn't really go with anything. You can't have a block of chocolate and some chips or a Pepsi as the chocolate over powers them. But one distinct advantage that chocolate has over lollies is that if I eat lots of chocolate, I don't feel as sick as if I were to eat lots of candy.

As for favourite lollies, I like Chicos, Skittles, those Yuppi sour worms, killer pythons as well as basic snakes and mixed lollies. I fucking hate licorice (thus I am always taking a gamble with the dark jelly babies) and those fucking bananas! :rage:

Im more of a crisp person than either but of the 2 :hmmm: i would say i prefer sweets / lollies

I love haribo in particular. I could just eat haribo for days on end. Fruit pastels, wine gums, fruit gums are all amazing aswell but you cant beat a bag of haribo :ryan:
I never used to be a chocolate lover at all but thats changed now. I love galaxy chocolate any chocolate with fruit and nut. Yorkie raisins are delicious.

crisps will always be my favourite. Nothing compares to a bag of wotsits, frazzles or quavers. Theyre mega.

I have to go with Chocolate
More specific Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.
They are my favorite type of candy in the whole wide world

McCoy's or Tayto are so much better. :hmmm: Especially Flame Grilled Steak McCoy's, or Sizzling King Prawn... I could very easily sit down and eat a whole six pack of those. :D

I don't eat much chocolate, and I eat even less sweets, so out of those two I'm gonna go with chocolate. Mars Bars are probably one of my favourites, but in general I really like white or mint chocolate. :monster:

Sizzling prawn and flame grilled McCoys are fantastic :ohoho: I do prefer the crisps i mentioned but McCoys are the only crisps where you actually get value for money. Most bags are filled with air and you barely get anything inside them but McCoys pack out the bags with as much as they can. Theyre cheaper than wotsits and all walkers crisps aswell. But you cannot beat wotsits :ryan:

I do like Wotsits, but I never feel half as satisfied after eating a pack than when I finish a pack of McCoys. It's the same with Quavers. As you said, the packs are hardly ever full. That might have something to do with it. :D

McCoys are pub crisps. No other crisp goes better with a pint than a bag of flame frilled McCoys

Out of the two... Chocolate. Although, nothing at the moment, due to my friggin tooth! I prefer milk chocolate, and hazelnut chocolate. :ryan: Mint chocolate is awesome too, though!

Chocolate. Specifically dark or white. Milky Bar Buttons are my current craving, but they're pretty expensive for how little you really get. So I'm mainly stuffing myself with budget crisps and chocolates. I'm sure I had a tin of McVities chocolate biscuits around here somewhere, but they've gone amiss.
Six, wisdom tooth? If so, I know the feeling. I ate nothing for 3 days after having mine taken out.

ive not really got much of a sweet tooth, id take something savory over chocolate and sweets any day.

given a choice though i guess id go for sweets....

I could realllllly eat just about any candy, depending on what my taste is for at the moment :lew: I love sweets. Chocolate would probably be my first choice...usually a good brand of chocolate though because I'm not a Hersheys fan. I like Cadbury milk chocolate, Ghiradelli chocolate squares (usually with caramel in the middle, or during Christmas time they have the peppermint bark that I adore), or Lindt milk chocolate truffles in those weird paper bags. Russel Stover makes pretty decent mini milk chocolate covered marshmallow or caramel hearts around Valentine's day and I've been buying those lately because they are cheap right now :ohoho: As far as candy bars go, Kit Kats are my favorite. Occasionally I'll have a taste for a butterfinger or something like that.

As far as plain candy goes, I LOVE Haribo gummy bears, or the mini gummy bears from the candy place Fuzziwig's around here. Twizzlers strawberry licorice I get fairly regularly....and I like the occasional Tootsie pop (suckers), sour patch kids, or Jelly Belly jelly bean.

...and now a want a flippin' Cadbury creme egg :hmph:

I prefer lollies.

Chocolate tends to be too much for me and makes me a bit sick after a while.

My favourite lollies are Allens Red Frogs, Raspberry Liquorice and Wonka Blackcurrant Pastilles.

I'm trying to avoid buying any lollies at the moment though. I find that when I do have them I just can't stop eating them and end up eating the whole bag in one night. >.<

I hadn't realised that Australians called sweets 'lollies'. That's interesting. :hmmm: Cool. :argor:
(Actually, what do you do when you are confronted by a chocolate lolly? Call them chocolate-on-sticks?)

I prefer chocolate regardless.

Sweets are all a bit too sugary and sickly for me a lot of the time. I like them every now and then, but it can be a bit too much. I also don't find the taste as interesting as chocolate.

Chocolate makes me feel good, I guess. It's meant to, and it does. I like Cadburys chocolate the best, but I can also like Galaxy too. Other chocolate companies I'd only ever have once in a solar eclipse. It's very rare for me to experiment with that sort of thing.

Oh there is Lindt, which is essentially a Christmas and / or Easter only chocolate. It is dangerous to get the deer or bunny chocolates though, as I left one on my shelf once for months. It had such a happy face that I couldn't dare to eat the poor thing. :argor:
