Not Kuja or Ardyn. I like the rationale behind both of them though.

While he possessed the same crest,
 
Ardbert (Warrior of Darkness)

Born in the First, one of the shards of Hydaelyn and is therefore a "firstborn son".

His title is explanatory because he shines like obsidian.

Same crest I presume that just means the Warrior job crest, even though Derplander has also branched out to [checks notes] Dragoon, Monk, Samurai and Dark Knight.
 
Sabin Fargo he was kinda the womanizer and i believe older then Edgar, Edgar was more serious in all manners. The right to be king also shone in a coin tosd in which Sabin used a dake coin so Edgar would win.
 
I really love the rationale behind it being Ardbert (one of my favourite characters now). The idea about it being Sabin is also interesting (although it was Edgar who rigged the coin toss and was the womaniser - neither of them really wanted to be king and he did it because he knew Sabin's heart was in freedom).

Both argued well, but both incorrect.
