Now that I have 4 interested people for the FF9 rp, I've changed the first post with all of the information to make characters for the rp. The Interest-check post is now the sign-up and discussion thread. for those members here that have claimed interest, go ahead and start making your characters. Once that's done, I'll begin the rp.
 
Hey guys :D It's me ( Not that many would remember me). Been a while ae? Anyway, I'm back now and ready to RP :D

To those that don't know, I was an active RP'er in FFF for years but last January I went to NZ to study and didn't really have a chance to post here much. Therefore I decided to quit for a year. But yeah, I'm back now with lots of ideas :D
 
I remember the name. I think that was back when I was known as Neo Bahamut, if not then it was the first time I was known as Squee...But I don't think we were actually in any RP's together at the time.

I still remember quite a number of your role plays. You had one about Final Fantasy IX too. Then there was one about that train, too bad it never quite started. And did you just say you have plenty of ideas at the moment?

Hehe, I do have plenty of ideas. But no point starting too many things at once :D Anyway, just mentioning. I'm away from 5th to 8th, so no posts from me until the 9th. Sorries ...
 
Well, I guess it's plain obvious by now, but just to confirm that again here...

Yeah, I'm back in school again, so my activity rate's going to go down drastically. I won't be able to dedicate as much time as I could before. Plus, I'll say school and homework are a deadly combination, which nurtures a really brilliant writer's block.

Not that I'm going to be MIA totally. Just that I won't be able to post daily like before... And really slow to respond. Be patient with me ,'kay? :D
 
Well right now, I'm planning a second SFR RP to complement the first one (and round out the number of active RP's I'm moderating to 3, which is my limit) More details will follow as time progresses.
 
Wow 3 RPs Kev? I can barely keep track of 2 at once XD

I was thinking of making another small RP that's a tad bit different in terms of good vs. bad :hmmm: It's more about RPers being a villain more than them going on a massive journey to meet all sorts of people and eventually fight some "evil" thing towards the end. I've got a bit of the RP made already but I'm not sure how others would react to it.
 
yeah, when I thought about it, it seemed to be a good idea, but I still have two to maintain, an Fic to write, many more to post in, I think taking on a third would be a bit much.
 
Toying between restarting my Portal RP or my FF1 RP, any suggestions which to go for? :gonk:

Portal was basically an average human (your character) getting sent through a vacuum portal which sends you to a world which is fused with areas of worlds from anime, games etc, even having characters from some of them as well as elements from such things (materia, devil fruit for instance)

And FF1 was basically the same as the game but the characters had personalities xD the first 4 were the only ones who got Crystals though so it's a bit more restrictive with characters :hmmm:
 
I think smaller RPs are more likely to be successful like FF 1 Dambamslam! I really do like portals idea though. I'm leaning towards portal ^^

Yay Eureka is finally finished :yay: I set out what I wanted to do with that RP! Now it's time to cleanse my mind until Second Semester o.o

In other news almost finished Castlevania RP...I really hope this one lives. 2 days till signups are posted. The Villain rp idea is put on hold ...
 
Oh your right I should make a post in that and Crystalius :hmmm: Then I'll be free for a while in the RP sect. ^_^ I hope LGCA does get going. I really miss the western SFR RP though xD
 
well hopefully I'll get that straightened out and restart that too, I'm not starting a new SFR RP until LGCA, this one and Emmericana is completed.
 
Updates, people.

I'm out of school, and now waiting for the next sort of school to go into. An education switch, in a sense, going, this time, for a different certification - a diploma, to be precise. Was gunning for an 'A' Level certification previously, if you were curious, but dropped out thanks to the uber hectic-ness plus stress, plus the competitive climate here :\ (And inevitably, university).

Right now, I've gotten a job to survive. My weekdays would be a standard full-day style. By the time I get back for dinner, and finish up, I'll be just in time to prepare for bed - lulz - since the next day would see me coming up early to travel.

And guess what? Because I'm quite free now, I've been freely volunteered as cheap labor for my relatives. Yay.

Guess what? My schedule just became more hectic than when I was in school. -__-

And so. I have yet another crabby reason to be slow around here. >.>

Still trying to choose between Portal and FF1 :hmmm: on the one hand Portal has a lot of variety to work with and the story can write itself, however with FF1 it's easier to manage and the story is already set so all to do is work around it to keep it unique :hmmm:

Bah, decisions -__- would do both if I had time.
 
If you were thinking about restarting FFI, why not expand on it a little? Have Warriors of Light and Warriors of Darkness, and maybe even Warriors of Shadow...with Chaos as the main villain. A three-way battle between Light, Darkness and Shadow, with Chaos pulling the strings. It'd be a lot more fun, and you'd have more character slots that way :yay:

I had a brainwave for a Star Ocean RP earlier...I might run an interest check on it if I ever get the idea fully formulated in my head. I think planet hopping could be quite fun...it'd be set in that massive gap between Second Evolution and Till the End of Time, in all probability. I already have a basic premise for the villains...although really, I think running three RPs would be my limited, I'm stretched as it is. xD
 
Ooh, that sounds like a plan :hmmm: hopefully this time it'll work out better and people won't be bored :lew: And have the sub villains like Bikke the pirate and Astoth or whatever his name was with more character/meaning to the story :hmmm:

It appears the public is leaning on FF1 :mokken: then I shall deliver!
