Lately, I've just been going around and taking different typing tests, and my typing speed usually ranges between 50 and 60 wpm with varying number of mistakes. I guess it's a good thing I took that Keyboarding class in high school. I do tend to make too many mistakes when I type, though.

So, what's your typing speed?

I can type A to Z in 4.98 seconds. And my wpm ranges from 60-65...although that was like ages ago..haven't tried recently.

My typing speed is 60-65 WPM with an accuracy rate of 90-100%. At least that was the speed last time I took a test which was about two years ago. I doubt it has changed that much.

I just recently had to take a typing test for a job I applied for. I got 67 wpm with 97% accuracy.

So there you go.

I honestly think my girlfriend can type about 95-100 wpm. It's disturbing how quickly she types.

So you got a girl who knows how to use her fingers..... nice...

I'm 60-80 all depending on what I'm typing really. If they are real words I do a whole lot better actually. I can copy documents at 85 or so wpm, but when it is material that I'm making up as I go I'm pretty careful.. so 65. I do make quite a few mistakes though when I'm just typing.

Copy typing I'm 75-85WPM with 97%+ accuracy apparently :gonk:

When I'm writing my own stories, I'm a lot faster though xD As I have to be in order to get the words down before my mind switches to the next lot. D:

I should really be a PA or something -_-

I just took a typing test, and it says 69 words per minute with a 95% accuracy. I type faster when I'm writing out my own words rather than copying things though, because it takes less thinking on my part >.> I used to be much faster at copying things, back when I had to do it daily for school.

The test I just took said 84 words per minute with 99% accuracy (I'd only made one mistake), though I guess it just depends on what I'm typing.

I did WPM tests back in like 7th grade computer literacy class. We had to look at a sheet and copy as much as we could within the alloted time (computer-programmed, so no cheating). The best I got was 76 WPM with 3 mistakes. But that was back in 7th grade. I coud've gotten faster or slower by then.

85 words per minute, with no wrong words. I guess my typing speed's pretty much self-taught. They say, 'Practice makes perfect'. Similarly, the constant usage of the keyboard has indefinitely improved my typing speed to this extent.

Still, I believe my typing speed is a lot faster than that. What I planning to type have a great influence on the speed.

^ This as well. I've never done the "homerow" crap - too much of a hassle, too strict, and too boring. I used to get nagged, by my mum or elementary teachers and such about how I would "skim and pick" or whatever at a young age. But I guess I've done fine without the "proper way" stuff.

In my computer literacy class, the keyboards would be locked under the desk so we "wouldn't be tempted to look". Because of that nice little quirk, I was able to hide it and got by without being forced into the conventional method.

It saaaaid. 66 words pm, with the accuracy rate of 89% I think it also depends on what I'm typing, because all those words in english were lie, OMGOMG WHAT'S THAT?! x]

But yeah, 66 words, per minute with the accuracy of 89 percent. Hurray I'm not a robot.

Somewhere in the range of 50-70 wpm depending on what I'm typing. If I was typing up a document with a large amount of numbers, then my speed would be severely crippled. Otherwise, I type quickly with few errors.

A far cry from where I was a year ago. I just recently noticed that I've been typing without looking at the keys. haha

If you look at my fingers when I am typing you'll never figure out what I am typing unless you look at the screen, I don't use and I cant seem to be able to use the traditional way of typing which means my fingers are scattered all over the keyboard, but perhaps I have a reason for that, either way, even in this deformed way of typing, I can pull off about....40 WPM, pending on the words them selves and if I know how to spell the properly xD

......The Fuck!? :gasp:

I must be the slowest member at FFF with my measly maximum of 40WPM. I can't believe how fast some of you type! Freaking ninjas man.

There's a traditional way of typing!? Man I'm way off. :gonk:

Oh well at least I'm still good enough to play "Typing of the Dead" :wacky:

Yeah you know what way they teach you put your finger son the home keys and such...like your index fingers are on the...*tests it out*....J and then F I think ._.;;

I type 75wpm apparently, at least that's what the test told me, and only made 1 typing error. I guess it's just a case of trial and error, the more you type on the keyboard the easier it is to type quicker, especially since you'll no longer have to look at the keys. :wacky:
