Fusionist's Graphic Attempts

Your last sig is pretty decent, but I think the sig size is a little too big. You can always change the sig size even if you are done with the signature. Go to Image > Image Size > and change the settings.

I do like the icon thingy. My, now I've gotta figure out how to do that! o.o Was there a tutorial you used? I'd like to try it out sometime. =]

Your last sigs improved Fusion, but I explained what I don't like in the SB.
and Mitsuki doing the icon thingy are kinda easy >.> just select the area you want and layer via copy, put it above and use the the blending options like Outer glow, outer shadow, Bevel and Emboss . . etc >.>

Oh okay, thank you very much! I shall definitely try it out sometime, but I'm sure it'll be a whole new style from my previous sigs...so I'll see what I can come up with.

Okay, here's some more sig attempts:

Endrance from .hack//G.U.
24.jpg

LeLouch from Code Geass
25.jpg

Orpheus from Persona 3
26.jpg

The Hero from Persona 3
27.jpg

I'm having trouble filling up the empty space in the sigs without making it look unnecessary, but at the same time I want the character renders to be the focus >__<

Anyways, I appreciate the comments ^_^

First thing first, before trying to use text, you should start by focusing on improving your tags first. I would advise the usage of C4Ds, and then to begin by simply trying to make both the stock and the background fit. Working with the text is the hardest part, and the less text you add the better. Try to keep it with simple fonts also, like Verdana or Times New Roman.

Light-Lady Rufus is great for giving advise, but I warn you, she can be harsh, although I have no com
plains. She had helped me a lot.

Um, my "tags"

And when you say stock, are you talking about the render image?

Okay, I'll keep the thing about text in mind ^^

I've been saving all my images as JPEG, and I was wondering if that makes a huge difference if I compared it to a different format?

Anyways, I just finished this one now:

LeLouch and Suzaku from Code Geass

28.jpg

As always, I appreciate any comments and tips I get ^_^

ermmm tags, sigs...whatever....and stock = images..

As for your new sig...

Too big, the stock is too blurred, and the background needs more life.

Definitely Light-Claymore is better giving advise than me -__-

I like them, they seemed a little bright but other than that they look good. I don't really like the background in the one of Orpheus it's really plain. But other than that you're doing great ^_^

Actually, save your signatures as .PNG

There really is a difference, although sometimes there won't be any differences at all either. Still, .png is preferable by many users.

Stock is basically the whole image. It can include the background of an image etc.

A render is a pre-cut out of an image. You can find a bunch of renders at planetrenders.net

http://planetrenders.net/renders/index.php?cat=10

You'll have to sign up to download the renders though, but it only takes a minute.

@Mitsuki: LOL, I signed up for the site a while ago, but thank you for your info nonetheless ^^

And thanks to all you guys for the info you've given so far! It's definitely been very helpful to me. It's one thing to look through tutorials meant to address general stuff, but it makes things easier when people can critique what I've done myself ^^

Yet again I can't find any sleep, so I made another sig attempt:

Aerith from FFVII: Advent Children
29.png

Okay, I tried to make the sig size more appropriately sized (350 x 175) so I hope it's better now.

Also saved it as a .png file ;)

Again, I couldn't really figure what to put in the sig aside from the Aerith render (which as you can see I didn't do well with >__<), but I tried to make the background to contrast with it without being, I suppose the word would be, "gaudy".

Again, replies appreciated ^_^

Try changing the color of the text.Black just seems too neutral and out of place to me.Also try different fonts. You should know that 1/4 of the tag depends on the text.

I like your latest sig, however such as Atif said The black text doesn't fit really try talking colors from your renders or from your created it would match better sometimes.

well i think the graphics in here are good, better than any of the crap i produce so why complain about something you can't do yourself:P

Okay, some more attempts:

Nunally from Code Geass
30.png

C.C. from Code Geass
31.png

Kallen from Code Geass
32.png

(Yeah, I've been watching that anime recently *shrugs*)

Anyways, I tried to match the text colour to the sig image like you guys suggested.

I admit that there isn't much difference between them, but I wanted to stick to simple stuff, and you can still kind of see different colours at least >__<

Anyways, comments appreciated ^_^

I like the new signatures!
The texture is beautiful!
Especially Nunally's!

How do you do that? :gasp:

Nunally sig is the best, and Fusion you don't have to use outer glow on every render, I like Kallen sig too but try changing the color of the glow.

@Milfeulle: I just used a paint brush (flowers in Nunally's sig) on the background, then I used a different brush type over THAT one and went to blending options (right click on layer) to make is all glowy, THEN I decreased the Nunally image opacity (in blending options window) so the texture showed through her ^^

@DC: But I like the glowy effect >__<

And, um, how do I change the colour of the glow o_O

**************************************************

'Kay, I made some more sig attempts:

Miharu and Yoite from Nabari no Ou
33.png

Kamui and Subaru from X/1999
34.png

Watanuki and Doumeki from xxxHOLiC
35.png

(I spent the most time on the third sig, but I'm not really happy with it truthfully >__<)

Comments appreciated ^_^

Ah, no one replied to my last post, and it's been a few days, so please excuse the double post.

Okay, I managed to make this sig attempt:

Zidane from FFIX

Comments appreciated ^_^

Those three sigs you did a few days ago are pretty good. You're getting better at this, so don't give up. ;) That Zidane one's alright. I'm not diggin' the white big stripes though...it really cries for attention. Perhaps lowering the opacity a bit will do. Remember, try to make the sig somewhat messy but artistic. Don't be afraid to go crazy with it and do the fix-ups later. =] Overall though, I can see improvement.

^ pretty much sums it up
by the way you can change the glow color by clicking on it "Outer Glow* not by just clicking on the box.
after that a new menu will appear try things in >.>
