((OOC: My bad. I missed your post, and spent the last few days waiting for a post that have already came.))
"Say, don't you have any living relatives?"
Luna continued walking, her expression that of pain. The memories of a time long gone came rushing back to mind, and the scene of how the monstrous brute plunged the dagger into the bodies of her parents kept replaying. Silently, the girl continued walking alongside Tina, as they came closer to the exit.
Her hands clasped together as she continued on her way. "My parents.." She began, when she finally felt ready to tell Tina. ".. They were murdered before my very eyes. Back when I was younger."
"As soon as they died, the other relatives vanished without a trace. It's almost as if they never existed since then."
Tina felt sad for Luna. As the young girl finished, Luna said, "My family died too, to an assassin's blade. As soon as my parents died I was forced to wander the country, in fear of monster and beasts of such. My grandfather was the one who found me, and took me in to live in his village in Dali. I feel sorry about you, and wish someone could've helped you."
OOC: You know that The Salvage Archipelago are the islands of daguerro right? Well pretty much, currently that area is under the control of Forbidden continent, filled with thousands of soldiers and workers building new Daguerro Just mentioned. Which also means that you are, most-likely, going to encounter a lot of powerful enemies
IC:
The sword pierced through the armor of Amarus and burst to the flesh of the warrior. Pain shot through his body making him release a silent roar.
" God damn!" Amarus shouted and from his very own wound blood burst out and landed on the skin of Letitia.
" My blood is like acid, it's going to burn through your skin and flesh till it meets your bones!" Amarus boasted with irritated voice and dash himself forward. The wound in his back was kind of deep, but it seemed as it didn't disturb him a bit.
OOC: Just in case if you think I god modded Some things are natural and impossible to avoid, like the blood that is released when you cut your enemy. It's pretty much impossible to dodge it, especially when you have no reason for it at first Anyway, his blood is like acid ... so be creative and get rid of it or it will burn your flesh. Now how can it be that it doesn't melt him? It's a complicated magical ability
Luna kept her silence, as she exited the cave. Her steps were heavy. Burdened with the raging emotions called forth from her past, she had only enough strength to hold it back silently- and not release it all at once in a violent outrage. The thoughts of the murderers surfaced, but was concluded with the memories of their deaths.
"I don't believe it, we're on the Forbidden Continent....The Savage Archipelago."
Gasping at the surroundings, Luna wondered aloud," How are we supposed to get out of here then?"
She had never been further than the city of Alexandria before. For her to actually be on another continent was a ridiculous idea to her, if not, impossible. "To be honest, I don't even know what this place is," She added, in case Tina may suggest something in hope of reaffirmation.
Tina thought about it. she and her friend are stuck in the middle of enemy territory. She then tried to figure out the situation. "We go to New Daguerro, I know it's enemy territory, but it's close by. We just need to lay low, find a way off this rock."
Taking out her Bayonets, she said, "We also need to watch for monsters, they'll be more tougher than before, so be on your guard and pick your battles."
Tina then moved westward, towards where she believes that the city would be. Any monsters ahead would be defeated easily. But they had to stay low and hope that they can find a way into hostile territory. This would be her most dangerous job yet, to protect herself and her new friend until they can get back to Alexandria.
The melancholic smile faded away into an emotionless expression as Luna followed Tina closely. Her steps were directly on Tina's, as she stared down at the ground, moving after her newfound friend. Apparently, Tina had knowledge of the area, or at least, better than Luna did.
Throwing a wary glance around her, Luna ensured her own security was not compromised, going as far as to mentally prepare herself to summon her weapons. If Tina's words were spot on, the enemies they may face may not just be monsters alone, it may be the same enemies they had encountered back at Alexandria- though Luna would rather not encounter them again, especially so close to enemy territory.
Lubricity dissolved into the depths of her heart, and surfacing, was caution as to every single step.
Tina continued heading forward, hopefully, civilization wouldn't be too far ahead. With the war front already going on in Lindblum, it would be too dangerous to be on any open roads, lest they find out what is going on.
Tina lied down on the side of a hill when she spotted a single Dagureean soldier with a gun. It was foolish for a soldier to be out in the middle of nowhere. But since he's far from the front lines, no one would expect it. She said to Luna, "Stay here, I have this."
Using one of her bayonets, Tina tossed the blade towards the hapless soldier. Because he was not expecting it, the blade struck the soldiers neck, choking him to death.
Tina took the opprotunity to check on her victim, taking the man's gun, "Daguerran Mauser, eh?" Tina said, before putting the gun aside, taking the soldiers ammo (about 3 clips of 15 bullets, including 5 in the gun) and taking up the dead soldier, tossing him down the hillside, where no one would notice. She then said to Luna, alright, I think it's time we head off." Before picking up her new gun and walking ahead.
"Enough." Letitia waved her hand and the acid was evapoarted. "You need to be put back in your place, fool king." Suddenly a burst of wind rose up and coaclesced into a ball. Gusts blew and whistled as Letitia held it together and shot it at Amarus. "This is the mark of my true strength!" laughed Letitia. "Can you handle it?"
'' Can I handle that? Are you teasing me little witch?'' Amarus said ironically. But the spell was certainly at the highest level. His eyes were glancing over his enemy while the ball made it at him. Huge explosion. Flesh was cut out from his body together with blood. Immediately, his body was covered with cuts caused by the deadly spell. Yet Amarus'es gaze was calm and emotionless, even if every other human being would be dying at that point.
" Haven't you heard ... that the more blood the blood king is dropping, the more powerful he gets?'' Amarus shouted and disappeared. Suddenly a cloud of blood appeared behind Letitia.
'' Blood tentacles!'' His voice was quiet. But the noise released by the blood spears was almost deafening. And then, more than 6 spears made from blood at very high pressure charged at the enemy.
'' Dodge this ... bitch!''
------------------------------------------------- Tot - the fantastic teacher!
-------------------------------------------------
'' You want someone to teach Dori? Well I'm sure that Gimreg can do it ... you, of course have heard of the legendary warlord from Esto Gaza? The glory of all dwarfs and well, most-likely the eldest of all dwarfs.'' Tot said while looking around the room. It was truly a legendary armory, filled with legendary items.
'' Oh, look, Alexandria is there!'' Tot said in a hurry with highened voice. From the window of the armory, Alexandrian fields started to reveal themselves.
'' Well, guess we will be landing in a minute, come!'' Said Tot and started walking towards the exit.
ooc: I got a surprise for Luna and Tina when they make it to the New Daguerro. BTW, the New Daguerro is extremely dark themed city, with factories being built and a huge dark fortress in the middle of everything. And people in there are either the best warriors that Oeilvert has to offer or the slaves and workers. Of course, there are a lot of crappy soldiers and drunkards as well.
"Agh!" The blood magic was intense, and painful. Impaling her through the gut and her arms. She dodged the first three, but the three that hit home, particularly the one that hit her stomach, hit Letitia hard. A whispered gasp left her parted, dry lips before she had the chance to counter. "Ugh." She stumbled, clutching ehr stomach, and expelled the spears from her body. And yet her flesh was torn, ripped, and strangely, refusing to heal.
Dammit. This blood magic was strong. The bastard had changed. He was tough, and resilient, perhaps more so even than the daughter who wouldn't die.
And if she couldn't draw blood...
"Hah!" Driving her hand forward, Letitia released a psychic vice, making her pain her determination as she attempted to wrap the vice around Amarus' neck.
If she couldn't bleed him out, Letitia would throttle the King like a puppy.
"Yes I know him, because I am the second most oldest dwarf. He is a good fighter, but not a good rune user. I remember that once we even talked about training Dori, he was interested but he will only teach him strength, because Gimreg had bad experience with the magic in his past" Korga said while looking at the armory. Then hearing that They are about to land, he started to follow Tot" Should we take Dori with us or let him stay here?" he asked while walking.
'' Hah ... lame tricks!'' Amarus shouted and the cloud of blood reappeared. And the next moment, everything in 1000 meter radius was hidden inside the bloodmist.
'' So, how do you like the atmosphere of mine?'' A voice shouted from nowhere. And then, Amarus charged at Letitia. His skin, it seemed like it was made from blood and his eyes were blood red.
'' DIE!'' His claws swung from top to low, aiming to cut Letitia as hard as possible.
------------------------------------------------- Tot - Let him be!
-----------------------------------------
'' I would prefer if he stays here. I will make sure the airship heads next to Esto Gaza and that Dori meets Gimreg.'' Then, Tot stopped. He gave a glance to Korga.
'' Do you feel it ... this atmosphere ... it's like there's a huge bloodbath near us ...'' Tot started rushing in an istant towards the exit.
'' It's way too familiar ... might it be that Amarus is in his blood form? ...'' Tot wondered with silent voice. The next moment they were in front of the exit. Tot jumped out of the airship and found himself in the port of Alexandria.
'' Follow me!'' Tot shouted and called a chocobo taxi.
((OOC: All right then, now that Solidjuss' relatively back. I'll take the environment into consideration just to lengthen my post.))
Luna stared at the soldier as his body crumpled limply to the ground. The scene from her past seemed to be replaying itself in the present. A faded imagery of a crudely dressed man fell, his body riddled with wounds inflicted by her Mithril weapons flashed by. Pushing the thought aside, she shook her head to regain consciousness of the present.
Tina had just picked up a new gun from the dead soldier and rolled the dead soldier out of sight- down the hill. "Okay then." She replied. "Let us be out of here as fast as possible."
Looking out at the green coloured hillside, she sighed softly. How much longer to civilisation, she wondered to herself. The thought that this civilisation she sought may be hostile to them didn't make her feel any better. Nevertheless, taking a deep breath of the salty air, she continued on after Tina.
The waves broke against the shore farther down below. Save for this sound, there was nothing else, but silence. There were no apparent areas of forests, nor much tall grasses. Hence, it would appear animals were rare. Occasionally, though, Luna could spot a monster wandering around across the plains further away from them, but they were too far to ignite much concern from herself.
Yet, that served as a reminder to the two about the dire consequences of staying out here in the open. "Let's go." She said, as she reached Tina's side.

The beasts of Oeilvert - Surprise
--------------------------------------------------
Loud steps, reminding the ones of elephants. Those where everywhere. At high speed, something unimaginable and terrible was going to made it to the two lonely warriors on the wastelands of New Daguerro, the new country under the control of the plagued and low empire of Oeilvert. A second later, a deafening roar was released. Behind the mountains came 6 monsters, reminding no other. They were the legendary war rhinos of Oeilvert. In size, they were gigantic. More than 10 meters long and 4 meters high. 5 of them had 2 gigantic horns, covered with armor and sharp darts. But the last one had 3, probably meaning that he was the strongest. 80% of their bodies were covered with armor, which could hardly be pierced. The only areas without armor were their legs with very thick skin, their eyes and their back, which also had naturally strong and thick skin. And on the top of the biggest Rhino, was the so called tamer. Everything of him was hidden in a heavy armor, to defend him while he is taming the beasts. It was told, that taming a single Rhino is very hard and taming two is nearly madness, than taming 6 needs a master of all tamers.
'' You intruder, have nowhere to run!'' The voice of the tamer was loud and strict. The very moment 5 rhinos charged at the two. Only the tamer with his rhino was left behind.
OOC: I thought you could get bored there, so I brought some enemies that might be fun to beat Or fun to run away from
OOC: And my next post was gonna be us finally reaching the city..... I'll play your game. I assume that since Rhino runs faster than man, I may need to do run and gun.
IC: "Dammit! Luna, run!" Tina said as she started to run from the rhinos. She heard about these war rhinos before, they were dangerous, brutal, and powerful creatures. Daguerro made them almost unstoppable to beat with armor covering their bodies with the exception of their eyes and their tough skin.
The 3 rhinoes charged after her. Due to it's speed, they were catching up quite quickly to Tina. In a last ditch effort, she jumped to the side, avoiding the horns of the creature. She got up quickly and pulled out her new Mauser rifle, which she aimed downrange. This would have provided an easy target for the 3 rhinos, one of which charged at the long Gunner. But before it had a chance to gore her, Tina fired 2 rounds headed straight towards it's eyes. One hit the eye directly, which led to the rhino trashing about, leading to the second bullet only just grazing the eye a bit.
Thankfully, Luna had been more mentally prepared than she had expected. The voice of the leading Rhino did little to daunt her. Summoning her mithril weapons, she began jogging to the side, away from Tina, and out of the Rhino's general direction. The three blades floated about around the girl as she moved.
Three weapons not as strenuous as ten to maintain from earlier, and having rested herself for the time being, this should hold for some time. Knowing this, Luna dived rolled, just in time to avoid the Rhino's charge. Promptly willing her weapons into a counter attack, however, against the Rhino's armoured body, the weapons could do little.
Hissing unhappily, Luna glanced around. When she had split up with Tina, two of the Rhinos had decided to attack her, while the other 3 went for Tina.
The Rhino roared, giving Luna little time to check on Tina. Rushing at the girl, the Rhino began it's loud, noisy charge. It was then, at the time, she realised that the Rhino itself was weakly armoured at their legs. Unfortunately, Luna had little time to put this knowledge to good use.
The second Rhino charged as well, from behind her. Hurriedly looking to the back, she thanked the heavens, and leaped to the side. The two Rhinos crashed into each other. "Fools," She muttered. Summoning her weapons to the fray, she had the blade attack one of the Rhino's legs.
However, all this did was to cause what seemed more like a scratch than a deep cut. Frowning slightly, she found herself crouching instinctively. It would seem this battle was going to take longer than she had expected.
Despite the Rhino missing an eye. It still charged at Tina which made her annoyed. "Tough little bastards, aren't they?" Once again the Rhinos were using the same rush the opponent tactic which led to Tina having to sidestep quickly to the side to avoid being gored. While she sidestepped she used the Mage Masher to try and slice off the enemies legs, but it only caused a scratch more than anything. "Looks like we're gonna have to do this the hard way." She muttered, then said to Luna, "Stab them in the eyes, they can't hit what they can't see!!!"
This was followed by Tina aiming her Mauser at another Rhino. Firing her 7.92-mm round, she aimed straight for the Rhino's eye. It hit, causing the Rhino to thrash violently in pain.
"Oi oi oi...I ain´t so young anymore" Korga yelled at Tot who was running. Nevertheless he started also run, as quickly as the age allowed him." I´m too old for this" Korga though himself and was trying to keep the same pace as Tot. Arrived to the exit he also felt the strong atmosphere in the air." This isn´t good...not good at all..! Isn´t there a faster way than chocobo taxi?" Korga said to Tot when he arrived at his side.
