Final Fantasy IX: The Fall of Mages RP

OOC: My post coming either today or tomorrow morning ;)

------------------------------------------------------
Gilgamesh - My sword!!!
------------------------------------------------------

'' You lowly bastards ... how dare you!'' Gilgamesh roared, more like a beast than a warrior.

'' My sword ... oh well, I'm sorry but I got to go.'' Gilgamesh said while starting to glow. And the next moment, he was gone.

'' Yes my lord, you called?'' He was on his knees, in front of the legendary man known as Garland the II.

OOC: Well, now you two have to find your way out of the forbidden continent :D

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Amarus - I'm sorry king, but I have no time to waste!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The battle, it was as tense as it could be. The claws and sword constantly charging at each-other. A clash after clash. A cut after cut. Blood, it was on both faces. But pain was only reflected from the eyes of king Markus Tribal II. His wounds, those seemed to be much more worse than the ones that Amarus had got. But all of a sudden, Amarus stopped moving.

'' Shit ... Markus ... I'm sorry ... but I'm sure you will understand it when it's all over.''

'' Bloody chains!'' A second after those words, Amarus had burst open Markus'es chest and blood spilled out. But the blood didn't flew towards ground, no, it was forming a prison around king. The very moment king collapsed and his imprisoned body fell to the ground.

'' Now, show me where you are Letitia!'' Amarus shouted. His voice, it was almost god like.

Letitia gripped her sword in one hand aboard her airship. Soon, this war would climax, and she would emerge, queen of all she surveyed.
Yes. This power that was welling up inside her. Soon it would be time. Time to enter Trance. Her heart pounded delightfully at the very thought.
Yes. This was the true power she had been hoping for.
But first, Amarus had to die.

After listening to Korga and telling the story so far, Tot stood up.

'' You wanted to see Richard and Vivius right? Well, I'm quite sure that they are in Alexandria, which is only few miles away. Which means we should be there in a hour or half.'' Tot continued and walked towards the door.

'' Let's prepare, I'm afraid that we might encounter someone strong.''

OOC: LOL. I was waiting for you to post. How would we get out of the Forbidden Continent, I wonder?

Luna gasped as Gilgamesh glowed, then vanished into thin air. As she fought, she was starting to build up the excitement of challenging someone who seemed powerful. For him to escape in this manner simply killed the pleasure. Eyebrows wrinkled together as she hissed angrily," Coward."

Brushing her hair behind her ears, she grasped her waist, panting slightly for air. Her weapons dissipated into thin air beside her. Throwing a glance over to Tina, she sighed. A quick survey of the area made her wonder how was she to leave the area.

"Hey. Any idea how we could leave this place?" She asked Tina politely. Although Tina had saved her life countless of times before, this was the first time she saw her skills first-hand. It impressed her slightly, though she would definitely have preferred a first hand experience.

Tina gotten herself up. She saw that Gilgamesh dropped one of his swords, Ragnarok. Tina, happy she got something out of this fight, picked up the sword. It was light for a weapon of its size, and it can serve well to sell it off to buy a replacement gun for one she lost back at the Magic Academy. Tina took out a roll of fabric and wrapped it around the sword so she doesn't cut herself. She then tied another piece of fabric on 2 ends of the sword so she could carry it around like if it was a gun.

After she was done, she heard Luna say, "Hey. Any idea how we could leave this place?" Tina responded in the same air of politeness, pointing to a hole in the wall, "First we need to get out of this cave. Once we're out, I can figure out where exactly we are. Though knowing Gilgamesh, I wouldn't be surprised if we wound up behind enemy lines. Let's go." Tina then walked towards the hole, and unsurprisingly, was a cavern. Since this was the only place from where Tina and Luna fought Gilgamesh, it was start on the way out.

((OOC: Much as I would prefer waiting for some better description of the outside area, I'll still give this a shot, nonetheless. We may also have to slow down for the others to catch up.))

Luna nodded. Gilgamesh. The man was indeed mysterious. However, Tina seemed to know the person rather well. While it made the girl curious about him, she decided against asking. "Hey," She began. "Who's Gilgamesh to you?"

Her curiosity had bested her after all. A defeated sigh broke out of her dry lips- which reminded her of the fact she hadn't drink water in a while- as she finished that line. Glancing over to the hole, Luna followed as Tina made her way towards it. Throwing a wary glimpse over her shoulders, she surveyed the cave briefly one last time.

Her battle here had been brief, but it's cool temperature had definitely made it one of the most comfortable place she had done battle in. Furthermore, against an opponent of such strength, and with an ally like Tina, she had little to complain about.

OOC: Although it would be better, none of our characters actually have a clue where they are, let alone how they're getting out.

IC: "Hey, Who's Gilgamesh to you?"Luna asked, Tina sighed, then said, "Gilgamesh...." she paused and then said, "He's a mercenary who has traversed many realms, including this one. He's a weapons hunter, possibly the reason why he challenged us. Not like he plays fair in the first place." She stopped to think, "Though, I believe he not just here to steal our weapons. I wonder who he's working for?" Tina dismissed the subject after her explanation and continued walking towards the exit.

Tina then decided to ask Luna a question, "Say, don't you have any living relatives?"

"Say what....? already starting to fight" Korga was curious" But we just saw each other after these many years. I was hoping to get catch some time that has been missing." Korga then smoked his pipe a little and watched Tot. He then noticed that Dori had his diary" hey..Tot.. How come Dori has my diary, when I strongly remembered that I gaved it to Richard" Korga was now very curious, because he does remember how he put some rune stones in there and some helpful advises to use them and also some combination but he never was expecting that his grandson would need those." Also, how strong this thin or things are?" Korga then stood up and went nears Tot side" Who hasn´t showed himself in the battlefield yet?"

'' Well, I also hoped to have a good and long conversation with you after all those years, but guess we have to continue it later, when the war is over.'' Tot said and slowly walked through the corridor.

'' Hmm ... about your diary ... well, I'm not sure but I think that Richard gave it to him after they met on the battlefield.'' Tot muttered, looked around the corridor and continued to talk.

'' Hehe ... our enemy is top class ... As strong as the last time, but this time we lack the crew of Zidane's.'' Tot sighed and continued.

''I have heard rumors that Amarus joined the enemy side, Garland II is the commanding officer of Oeilvert and the former prince Thorogor The Evil who almost slaughtered you and Richard back then has also joined the battle.'' Tot pointed to a door and opened it.

'' Here we are, the armory of Richard's. Take whatever you wish. Oh and I totally forgot, Darkrul, the mad waltz has also reappeared.'' Tot told eagerly and looked around the armory. It was a top notch one and he was kind of sure that every single man in the world would love to get something from there.

"Amarus..." It was Letitia's voice that echoed near Amarus, creepily moving up and down in tone and loudness.
"I've been waiting for you. I hope you're ready."
A swirl of darkness gathered, distorting the sky as it formed. Letitia stepped through the distortion, gripping her sword.
"Youy won't survive this one."

----------------------------------------------------------
Amarus - you're joking, right?
----------------------------------------------------------

A maniacal smile formed on the face of the son of Amarant. Slowly, he moved his gaze towards the source of the voice, The Mad Alchemist Letitia.

'' I think you've got bad timing ... don't you know that I work for Garland the II ... Oh well, if you want this fight you will get this fight, lowly alchemist!'' Amarus said with sharp tone. Slowly, he raised his claws and readied himself.

'' Now comeone and show me what you got!'' The very moment he appeared behind Letitia and swung his claws aiming for the head.

OOC: The beginning of a epic battle :D

OOC: Damn right!

IC: "Hah!" Letitia's hand pushed at the air, and a force field formed around her body, blocking the claw strike.
"Lowly Alchemist? You've seen nothing yet! This coming from something little more than a beast! I'll tear you limb from limb!"

The distortion of darkness suddenly leapt into the air, forming into a wickedly sharp bolt, jagged and spewing dark mists.

"I hope you're ready!" yelled Letitia, as the bolt shot for Amarus' back.

The force field was strong enough to bounce Amarus'es attack back, but it was nothing that would annoy him.

'' Weakling!'' He muttered the very moment the bolt charged at him. Within an instant, he had flashed behind the bolt and added his own power to it making it to burst towards Letitia.

"When you realise?" began Letitia. She absorbed the bolt of darkness and sucked it into her essence to make her stronger. "Darkness is my element. My little girl thought it was her's." A small smile pulled at Letitia's lips. "But I soon proved her wrong."

Letitia drew her sword and lowered her shield to slice three times at Amarus. "You can't escape!" she laughed as she sliced.

'' Yet you are wrong!'' Amarus muttered the very moment that the sword slice him to three. And a second later, the body parts turned in to blood cloud and vanished.

'' Haven't you heard the legend of blood warrior?'' Amarus shouted at Letitia, appearing behind him and charging with his claws towards the back of her.

OOC: He can't reborn or anything :D it's just a stylish flash move that leaves a decoy and he flashes meanwhile to other places :D

"So...all this time when I was away...no evil figures have been killed? Thats disappointing. I truly hoped that Vivius would kill someone, but I see that all them are together on this war again" Korga told with disappointment voice. He looked at the armory. There were all those stuff but he didnt need anything." Thats a fancy armory...Dori would like it or even wears some, but the boy is too weak yet let him rest this one. He needs a teacher who would make him much stronger. To you know someone who could help, because Im gonna teach him the knowledge of runes of the next step" . Korga then looked at the empty space and was thinking the battle he had once with Thorogor" because one mistake....just one mistake and we failed. Oh how I want to battle with Thorogor again...but alone...then there are less worries" korga said quietly.

OOC: I see. :D

IC: Letitia let out a moan as her back was sliced open, dark blood dripping from the shallow, yet painful cuts, gashes that looked like bloodied meat.
"I see." Letitia held up her sword, ignoring the pain. "So... you are he then. Yet... the Dark Alchemist came about first, did she not?"

She held out her sword and smiled, her red lips like blood next to her pale face. "You don't truly hope to survive this battle, little king?" She laughed.

With intense speed, Letitia flashed behind Amarus and stabbed at him with her sword.
