Look, it’s Final Fantasy IX! And it’s on the PS Store soon after its release on the Japanese storefront. Can we faint now?

It's Wednesday, it got shifted forward a day to match the US PSN store update, although theirs might be Tuesday now. All being said it's definitely Wednesday.

That's good, but like I probably said a dozen times before, I already have the disc copy so it's hard for me to be even remotely excited about this at all.

Unless of course one of the discs breaks. Or if somehow Beatrix can be in your party longer than in those few battles in Alexandria. xD

If its in sync with the US store, I expect it'll be later on today...timezones and whatnot. Meh. I suppose the best thing to come out of all this is not having to wait an extra day for DLC and whatnot ♥

Just checked, it's on PSN now. And apparently it only applies to EU, US have yet to receive it.

Getting things after Americans doesn't make you last.

It's normally the case when it comes to Japanese games. Japan gets it first obviously, followed by North America and then Europe and Australia.

This is perhaps one of the few occasions where the above doesn't apply. :dave:

This is excellent news. I've wanted FFIX on the PSP for ages It's one of my favourite FF Games xD I'll be downloading it as soon as possible, then I'll have all three PS1 FF Games on my memory stick xD

Wouldn't hard disc values decrease in the wake of cheaper digital downloads?

I'm still not too familiar with PSN, but once I figure it out (likely by the time the game comes to the US/Canada PSN store), download here I come..!
