By now, you should now that there are six main characters in the game;
  • Lightning
  • Snow Villiers
  • Oerba Dia Vanille
  • Sazh Katzroy
  • Hope Estheim
  • Oerba Yun Fang
I am most looking forward to Oerba Yun Fang. I think she is going to be powerful, as I read. She has a great summon, Bahamut of which has been one of the stronger summons in the history of Final Fantasy and I think she has an Australian accent, which I love.

Easily becouse he has the most kickass summon in the game in my opinion, but his weapon is a freaking boomerang.
Also I like his character design and his JPN and ENG voices are <3

I'm pretty sure Serah is not a playable character.
I'm looking forward to all of them, really. From what I've heard, the characters don't really have much uniqueness in terms of the abilities available to them - you can make them what you want. So the main distinguishing feature is the summon. I quite like Lightning's summon, and it will be interesting to play the first genuine female protagonist in the series (Terra doesn't quite count, in my opinion).
 
Surprisingly, this isn't a hard choice. I would definitely go for Fang. I wanted to play as her for a while now - ever since she was first revealed as a main character.

Firstly, I simply love her design and personality so far. She looks really battle-hardened, yet caring on the inside as well as evidenced in her interactions with Vanille. Then again - that's not really relevant in battle. I love her spear/santetsukon weapon. It's one of the better weapons I have seen out of the party.

Secondly, look at her Eidolon. It's Bahamut - usually one of the stronger summons in the series. I love the fact that it can also be an aerial vehicle - a Gestalt form that to me, eclipses the other five. Plus I generally love Bahamut anyway. Watching Fang summon Bahamut whilst falling from the sky in that Japanese trailer was simply epic. :ryan:
 
Definitely Lightning for me, I think it's because it's been far too long since we've had a real kick ass main character for an FF game. I was never really keen on the pretty boys like Tidus and Zidane so seeing someone with a little angst in them definitely appeals to me. In truth Snow and Hope really don't appeal to me at all from the info I've heard about them but hopefully I'll be proved wrong.

I'm interested in seeing exactly what Fang is like too though as she does look interesting to say the least.
 
I want to play Vanille. She's so sweet and nice. The do not cross this line trailer and her general sunny disposition, combined with her moments of strength and seriousnes, such as when she ordered Sazh
to shoot her
These were great moments, and a light character has been missing for a while.

Fang too, I love, for her general design, and of course, because of Bahamut.
 
Probably Lightning or Fang for me.

They both look like they can kick some ass in battle so, i'm not too worry bout that xD I think they could be the most useful and handy in battle.

From what Ive seen they aren't your average hopeless girls-- they know how to fight and they can hold themselfs which always has appealed to me mainly because some girls in the FF series act hopeless >_<

And lastly, their summons. There's nothing better then having the "best" summon(s) (Bahamut and Odin) which will most likely have an advantage due to the summon(s) abilites/powers etc so, i'm excited to see them in battle ^_^

thats pretty much what i was gonna say aswell :) and fang looks badass :funnyface:
 
Sazh here, ever since the first trailer i've been most drawn to him, which is odd since I normally prefer the sword wielders xD

More because he's more of an amusing type of gunner, after the likes of Balthier and Barret he's a breath of fresh air. Plus the chicobo and his summon are made of win :mokken:
 
Im looking forward to playing Lightning and Oerba Yun Fang and Vanille. Well ctully im gonna play all of them xD. I have been waiting for this game for such a long time now so Im looking forward to playing all of the characters. Lightning looks fun with her blaze edge and omg those legs :ryan: Also Odin looks fun to ride on :hmmm: As for Fang and Vanille I want to play them becuse they look relly awesome. Fng looks like she hs some evil in her so summoning Bahamut should be relly fun. OMG I cant wait 9 DAYS :woo:
 
why is serah in the poll since she's not a playable character?... but I want to play as Vanille! I accidentally picked Snow in the poll. >.< I DONT look forward to playing as Snow!
 
It would definitely have to be Lightning for me, I think she is easy to relate to. I think her story is probably going to be one that fascinates me. She is just such a strong in individual, and it's quite refreshing to have a leader in the series who isn't a complete wuss or cry baby, like our past leading roles. (Vaan, Tidus).
 
I want to play as both Hope and Vanille. They're both cute little characters >.> <.< and they seem like the type of characters I like (the younger emotionally dramatic ones) Vanille is going to be like ":3" type of person from what I can see, and Hope looks very... T-T. Which is good :D I like happy female characters (Yuffie, Selphie, Rikku). Vanille looks like Final Fantasy XIII's Rikku or Selphie. Hope seems... different, he's younger than everyone else and I haven't really seen that in another Final Fantasy game. So RIGHT NOW I can say both of them are my favourite characters. Unless while I play the game it somehow changes....

I really love Sazh's character design and I have a feeling he's going to be in my party a lot. Vanille and Fang seem like interesting characters as well.

So far the character I'm the least interested in is Lightning. I think that has a lot to do with her face being plastered everywhere though. :hmmm:
 
Lightning looks promising. She looks like a stand up kind of Heroine for once I don't think the lead female will disappoint me by having a love interest that makes her a Mary Sue, I mean they did the perfect thing with her and that's give her no love interest :hmmm:

I still don't think that this game will be as bad as they think this game is. I mean the commercials show the game in an odd light, but the song actually matched the game very well
 
I'm looking foward to playing as Hope. I really like his story and his design. I also just found out recently that the voice actor for Phineas from Phineas and Ferb did Hope's voice, so this makes me even more anxious to play as Hope.XD

I'm also looking forward Vanille. I'm alittle curious about her. >.>
 
Sazh Satzroy easily he is the most badass looking character ever and i mean he has a freaking chocobo in his friggin' afro yeah you top that Lightning
 
i want to play with Lightning because of her personality and her character design is awesome! she looks cool And it will be nice to see her in live action :P
