In my opinion, technology should have a place in an RP such as this for those who want it, but it shouldn't be dominant. The event and aftermath of whatever Oliver and Ringo have planned will probably be a main storyline, I assume.

Anywaaaays, every character has their strengths and weaknesses. Nobody wants a perfect character. If fights happen, they happen, but powerplaying ruins a good battle.

There isn't a main storyline....this is just a plot to make the RP a little more fufilling and less boring. Plus it's interesting, and adds purpose to some of what's to come....And the future missions will be badass :britt:


Edit: The EA story just got sexier...I think that was one of my best posts yet...

Sorry. To see someone call their own character the scariest SOB on the planet smacks of egotism to me and it irritates the hell out of me. Your character may be power, may be a teacher and may have magical abilities capable of taking out an army, but insinuating they are the scariest SOB out there means everyone would be afraid.

... So not the case.

Anyway. I'll be looking to at least get a post in to catch up shortly. which means Veerle and Amane continuing their missions and Cathal turning up late to the meeting. Greaaaat, that's going to look good on him.

(Also, we don't have to drop discussing something. This thread is for talking about the RP, so long as whatever is mentioned is kept on the topic of the Roleplay, EA, it's free game.

Of course, unless Josh specifically asks for the subject to be dropped. His RP, afterall)

EDIT: Not the best but I'm ill so I'm far from being at the top of my game atm.

I know i said i would drop the subject but unless i am seriously mistaken a turret is the emplacement on top of a medieval tower...

But i will be leaving this assembly if the mudslinging and needless grandstanding (by all parties involved including myself) has not reached a satisfactory conclusion since explaining my view on the matter would be -in my opinion- a waste of breath.
 
Just so I know, will I be taking control of the dragon in this mission, or will you, Josh?
 
your effort wasnt wasted FF. You just brought new perspective to what's to come. Plus it's not like Nova's views were useless, she just brought new ideas out of everyone and got us thinking harder, thus bringing more realism and character development. It was a big help. In tactics everything is useful. ^_^

Now Diar that is a good question. You would be controlling the dragon as you are the mission leader... the other two can only fight it...Don't make the dragon go down too fast now! Make it a nice battle.
 
...I knew you'd probably fit well in a CoD RP...

Nonetheless, I think my of these ideas are pretty sound, but I'm gonna need to start coming up with my own too...

I'd rather not have to fight you guys in this battle.... That would totally suck. Flying island? Telekinesis? Immunity to bullet weapons/explosions? Able to cause said explosions?

... I'm gonna hate this war, I bet....
 
IMO the entire war should get shelved and we should keep this going as a "hogwarts" rpg... ie what it was before the guns and bullets started flying... Well next post will see Nova on some tropical beach sippin´ on a piña colada FINALLY THIS BLOODY SPANISH KEYBOARD HAD SOME USE w0000t i could spell that corectly

And for the record Espada there is something else then videogames, like the real world where they got the idea for COD from... And yeah modern wars are quite a bti like they show in the videogames from what i read, althought hey always neglect to mention the real PITA stuff, the killing all the other nasty stuff... Yeah i know dudes who are in the 'stan -as i believe the SAS still calls it- and have spoken to them at length... And this is the last i´ll say on the subject...
 
FireFrenzy, I just wanted to say, Arukab's weapon is neither a sword nor a knife :gasp: He wouldn't use either of those. His weapon has a great advantage of range, for it is a gunblade. That means it is a gun, but the barrel is traveled down a blade. Also, his ability is more than silver armor, he can just create silver on command. That means he can make excessive blades from whatever point on his body he desires. Teaming that with his other ability to manipulate the silver, he can harden it and control it's weight. This enables a lot of windows.

However, this ability is not limited to his skin. Slit his throat and he can just use silver to connect whatever body parts have been cut. But don't worry, I am a bit too noble to do this, I like a good dramatic death here and there.

Also, his only real weakness is magic, this him and Krego making a good tag team :gasp: since Krego is all magic...

Plus we've already started....but it won't last long. Things will go back to the way they were very shortly after...

I'm glad to see Vikki has picked up leading a mission very fast! aha! This whole meeting thing was kind of a bad idea but we all have to agree on something. The main point of it was to have your teachers/students state which part of the school they would be defending but instead turned into a speech about power, worst case scenarios, and Ringo's thing which came in at the wrong time :mokken: but the show must go on! xD

I can't wait till EA:Second Semester. It's gonna be toned down a little from what's going on now :hmmm:
 
Well, I'm not surprised that it was gonna be a trainwreck of sorts, but hey, may as well roll with it I suppose.

Besides, a floating island may be cool....right?
