Eureka Academy: Exitium {S/D}

I'm more for that idea. Noblesse, didn't you do something like that in Scars of Terra? Either that or some other rp I have done. But I know that this one might work the best.

Also on a sidenote, I have found someone in the gaming community of a game I play that is willing to do artwork. If you want, can you send me a FULL picture of your character and what pose you want your character to be in?

I actually did implement a system like that for Scars of Terra (probably in response for another RP stuck in one world for two years. XD) Only difference was I never had to deal with a system where I wound up having to try and catch up with others posting due to shitty scheduling. Which is probably why I'm not saying much in favor or in opposition to Tipsy's idea. But if it works I'll use that same system for my KH RP so it can roll faster.
 
Yknow what? In addition to that, i say we have a daily post limit. Say... three? That way, we can absolutely be sure no one is going to be left behind rediculously badly. And when players become more free, we can prob lift the limit.
 
Limit it to either one or two Tipsy rather than three. Even with three a day it's still going to be a lot to take in for those trying to catch up.
 
good point. i would settle for two, just to not slow it down that much. But this is all up to Oli. Im just making suggestions. But ill agree that three per day is a lot on hindsight.

Hmmm things havent turned out as i had hoped. Everyone seemed to have turned up early to the party, rather than later. Was planning for the StuCo arrival to be the actual time and anything before that was early.
 
For one I'm surprised that most of you are surprised at how fast it started. Like, this is the third EA RP so I'm kinda used to it. need I remind you all of the first one? That was a posting nightmare. >__> I think that post method thingy was used in EA2. Or at least I attempted to use it before it died.

Anyways I've been busy too but I always find time to read each post and keep track of students etc. Seeing as I'll be managing the Student Hub and coming up with ways for characters to slip in/out of storylines in the RP, which does contain small episodic story arcs hence, it's a lot of work(Even checking up on characters abilities when they're in battle.:ahmed:). Not to mention that I'm also running my Afterlife RP in another RP site which is not as much work as EA but still a load of plot reworking seeing as the participants will probably be finishing it at some point in the winter if all goes according to plan. Not only that but there's work and school work so I really won't be keeping track of that much but I will attempt to set up a system. it's up to you all to keep the system going but I will implement some sort of mandatory posting limit and order so that the RP can run smoothly. A large reason why there's so many posts is because so many of us have the amount of time to post like 3 times a day. I myself only have like 4 total posts since there seemed to be a mass confusion with the schools location(Lack of reading in the student handbook but I can overlook it). I time skipped the battle for an attempt to freshen things up before it went sour as the beginning really wasn't meant to be that long of a battle. There were also characters referencing and conversing with characters who were nowhere near their vicinity, which I can only say might have come from skimming posts.

Since the large number of posts are becoming a problem I'll try to work on a system that will smoothly have things going. In the Afterlife RP There is an order of posts where certain members post one after another, never breaking order. Because of this system the Rp has managed to reach its climax in the story, which is a rarity to see with my recent Rps.

Within this system I will be taking account of time zone and the amount of members participating along with their characters. Any who would like to give me input please PM me.

Edit: Not only has the party started early Tipsy(since I stated in my post it was less than 3 hours off), the characters also seem to be in the cafeteria instead of the ballroom, which I never got to announce....since people just implied it was there. >.> It was then that Stella noticed that her handler had written the locations in the student handbook only for his health. She sat down and wept heavily before jumping off the north tower to her death.

The school - 3rd Floor

Ballroom: The Ballroom is used for formal functions of the school. Mostly for dances and parties for students. It's a wide open space with the best views of Eureka Island outside of it's window arches.

Arena: the arena is the place of action for the school! Student’s gather to view the daily battles there. Students can reserve the arena for battles and challenges for each other. Sometimes even school tournaments. The arena is set like a stadium and takes up the other half of the 3rd floor.

I understand not everyone has the time to post right away, but I'd rather a poster read and post the next time when they have free time rather than posting something and confusing the rest of the participants. It'd also be nice not to compare EA with the Harry potter School(which 3 people PMed be about with questions). This ain't no Hogwarts honey chile -_-

Okay so here's how it's going down. AT the beginning of each post I'll write a time period which will include the amount of posts left of my own before we speed up time. I'm not really up for making an "overlord/narrator" character. Instead I'd rather someone help to maintain this time frame by helping to inform each other outside the RP if someone hasn't responded to your character, etc.

I've discarded the timezone idea(too complicated.)

Anyways since there are 9 in the RP I'd like everyone to at the very LEAST post 2 times a week with a daily post limit of at least 2(There can be more). Each person should at least be able to post 2 times a week or more(So as to not keep people waiting for forever.) If youc ant post notify the correct people and such and things will be handled. Anyways please let me know if something goes wrong. Knowing myself I'll probably completely forget about something or let it get screwed up so don't hesitate to tell meh if you cant post or if I need to post, etc. Anyways I'm not posting today;too busy with classes n homework n other RPs I need to post in(Sorry for being so late Kevin :sad3:). I will say that I'll post at least 5 more times until we timeskip into the next morning/episode.

Does this sound like an okay posting method? I'm not sure if it's interfere with others or whatever. I'm pretty spent when it comes to order and ideas for EA. xD
 
Sounds fine to me. Having a system to stick with kinda makes things feel more orderly. Whether or not it works is something we'll probably find out when we put it to work. For now, five posts seem like plenty of time, seeing as you're quite busy yourself.
 
Sorry for my lack of posts... I'm just trying to adapt to college life. I might begin bring my laptop with me during the day, and using the library's wifi.


Anyway, I'll post tomorrow.
 
i would like to clarify one thing about Hanzel.

It is understandable that people misinterpret it since the bio is kinda longish, but Hanzel does not always fight with her suit on. Her suit needs to be summoned to her and it is locked as of now until she can use her fourth skill. Right now, she fights as she is dressed in the bio.

If oli doesnt post by the end of today, i guess ill just have to move one ahead.
 
I'm ok with that. Rp has gone from going non stop to a screeching halt in a span of a day. XD
 
I'm sorry for my lack of posts guys. My procrastination of school work has led me to be set back on time. On the bright side though your characters can interact before my next few posts. Once this episode ends, and it will end sometime after everyone's reacted to the last event, the next day(which I will title and which will take place exactly a week later) will go at a much faster pace than just this screeching halt. I hope you all haven't given up hope yet! We're just beginning this party. ^_^
 
That's good to hear. I'm still here, just lazing around while waiting for a response. I'm sure once school starts for me, I won't be as free as I was these few days, but I'll still stay around for this.
 
It's no problem, Oli. Actually, in these last few days, I think I got my muse back. I wrote something today that actually DIDN'T SUCK.
 
Ah yes. My apology. I had one half done but had to leave it cuz of friends coming over. I then promptly forgot it was half done >.>. Ill get to it now. Hanzel will have to wait tho
