What type of clothes do you wear? Do you prefer the casual look, or do you go for a more formal, lookin' pretty damn rich look?

Personally I always go for the professional look. It's been years since I've worn a shirt that had some text on it or a picture of something on it. I love plain longsleeves with one color on it because it just looks really good, in my opinion. Black or white or some desaturated color is totally my style. (y)

That and some dark jeans. I don't really like too many light colors.

Oh! Yay dressing thread!

Um, I hate the whole formal look because I've always felt uncomfortable in it. But I don't mind dressing up once in a while because I happen to not look so bad in a suit. I like wearing very laid back styles. I ted to lean towards graphical t shirts a hoodie and jeans on the defaul. Occasionally I'll dive into the gothic look but other than that I dress very chill.

Ugh, formality...

I hate formal clothes. I always feel like I'm trapped in a close space. Normally I thow on a pair of jeans and a layered T-shirt, even in summer. Paired with my Converse I'm fine to go where I want. Though I have been called emo because I always wear dark colors and they think i wear long sleeves to hide cuts. ...Whatever.

I guess the leather wristbands with anime buttons on it doesnt help either.

I always wear black. I have a few items of clothing that are white or grey, but otherwise everything I own is black. I'm not fond of wearing bright or coloured clothes, they just don't suit me. Whilst I'm not all that fussed over my appearance, I feel very self-conscious if I'm wearing something coloured.

My usual outfit when I'm going out is black jeans, a black shirt, my trenchcoat and my boots. I have a few hooded tops I wear as well, which I wear because they are warm, not because I'm intent on sticking a knife in the back of anyone who crosses me...although I'll admit the thought has crossed my mind a few times when I see some obnoxious schoolchildren.

I never wear anything that shows any skin, either. All that is ever visible of me is my face and my hands. Not only because my skin is extremely sensitive, but because I hate revealing clothing.

I don't put much effort into my appearance, I just wear what is comfortable to me. I've been called gothic because of my fondness for a trenchcoat and undeniably gothic boots, and smart because if I took off the trenchcoat and wore some different boots, I could probably go for a job interview and not have my appearance criticized, but...eh. I've never really thought of myself as either.

I always prefer the dressier casual look.

Not bogany and cheap looking but not over the top either.

I can't stand leaving the house unless I look presentable, even if it's just for a quick trip to the corner shop.

I think I definitely lean towards the more formal look though.

Casual is okay sometimes but I like to look like I take care of myself for the majority of the time. =)

It completely just depends on my mood. I wouldn't really say I had a style tbh. I've got that many fucking clothes. I am quite partial to skinny jeans and vest tops though, that's something I tend to wear an awful lot.

There's gotta be love for my baggy jeans though, they are litterally beginning to fall off me now, but I just can't bringmyself to get rid of them, there's even pain on them I can't get off. But favourite jeans

I guess daytime wise, I do tend to lean more toward the casual look. But I'l never team a baggy pair of jeans with a lose t-shirt/top. I always at least try to make sure I look presentable. I wouldn't EVER wear trackies or stuff like that, I dont go that casual

I like business suits, but I see no reason to wear them in my life. So out of practicality, I wear casual clothes. Casual, traditional, whatever you want to call it...

Im a very casual person, even at work I'll wear more casual clothes than most of my other collegues. Im not a very formal person unless I have to be. I am much more comfortable in my casual clothes.

The only time I'll go formal is if Im going out on a date, or if Im at a formal occasion at work. If anything when I go out somewhere and I want to look nice at a casual even, I'll wear semi formal clothes with casual clothes

My usual clothes :hmmm:
I usually wear shirts (statement shirts and band shirts most of the time), regular jeans and my Vans skate shoes. I only wear casual outfits during special occasions. I also wear baggy shorts during skate sessions.

I'm not a fan of formal clothes either but I do have to dress in suits for my student teaching gig; or at least a pair of slacks and some kind of nice shirt--nothing too fancy. Otherwise, I'll take a pair of jeans and a t-shirt over that any day. I hate, hate, hate looking too girly too, like with skirts and dresses. I own a few skirts, but I've never really had the guts to wear them. xD Don't own any dresses, though. Er, scratch that, the only dress I own is a bridesmaid dress from my mom's wedding like 10 years ago. And it still fits!

I wear shorts mostly along with short sleeve shirts and sandals. If I really have to ill wear a suit but mostly I just dress casually. I usually wear stuff thats red or black mainly since those are my favorite colors and they go with my hair and eyes colors.

I tend to vary my style. When I got to school I mostly just wear jeans, a tanktop and a hooded jacket. Once or twice a week I like to dress up in skirts and generally more feminine clothes. Every friday I wear high heels.
My style is a bit emo ish sometimes feminine.

To be honest, I just wear whatever. :mokken:
Although, my taste leans towards long-sleeved shirts, turtlenecks, cardigans, and jackets-that-are-just-there-for-the-look. But really, I don't mind what I wear.

My wardrobe consists of mainly boxers, jeans and black T shirts. I dress up as Johnny Bravo every single day. I do mix it up with a logo Tee every now and then. I wear stock sweatjackets and jackets when it's cold outside. Nothing really special, clothes are clothes. I don't have a distinctive style and don't really care much to have one (unless the Johnny Bravo thing can be counted as one).

I'm not sure how'd I describe my style. At home, I am quite a slob with baggy shirts, shorts and the sweat pants, but when I'm out, I usually wear pants or jeans and sleeves. My wardrobe is mainly long sleeved shirts and pants with the occasional sweaters and vests. I confess I haven't really pin downed a professional style for myself yet. I mean, I have this one shirt, but that's it xD

jeans and a t-shirt; usually a football shirt. i can't remember the last time i didn't wear jeans, its been that way for years for me. stuff like that is just easier to throw on in the morning and i hate tight fitting stuff because it makes me really uncomfortable and fidgity.

when i'm going out though i always wear a shirt. i like to look smart casual if i'm off out somewhere.

I go for a casual look. I don't want to feel the need I have to dress for anyone, unless it was for a formal occasion like a job interview or a family event. So it usually consists of jeans, a t-shirt, trainers and a jacket. I'll also throw a bracelet or two on my right wrist as well sometimes.

I would say my dress style is alternative/rock chick with some elements of goth and emo thrown in. I usually like to wear all black or I like to combine it with purple or red. But it all really just depends on the day and my mood, whatever I feel like throwing on that day and whatever feels most comfortable. Usually a pair of black or dark blue jeans (skinny ones or just straight leg jeans) with a black hoody (zip-up or a pull over one) or a purple one, with a long sleeved top underneath and some sort of t-shirt under that. In the summer, checked/plaid shirt with knee length jeans and my black etnies or converse all stars.

I'm definitely casual. T-shirts for the win! My friend likes to go all abstract-fashion (which means she makes a hobby of taking ugly clothes and making them look good) but nearly everything I own is a nice fitting T-shirt. Usually with some witty saying on the front. Oh, and blue jeans. I want to be buried with my blue jeans. I usually wear at least some earrings with an outfit, but only if it matches. I only dress up if there's an occasion for it, or if I just want to change the usual cycle of this T-shirt that T-shirt. :wacky:

Oh, and sneakers. Surprising as it may sound, but I only have 3 pairs of shoes -- winter dress ones, summer dress ones, and SNEAKERS. :gasp:
