Does this picture in any way look odd?

Well, I was on the Final Fantasy XIII website, and I stumbled upon this picture of Snow's Shiva in motorcycle form. Now... Take a good look at this picture and what seems odd and sexy about it? You know you can see it:

Yeah...

The Shiva motorcycle design was quite a bad idea I think. I'm not sure what to comment on it without being rude... The position of the Shiva sisters with their legs wrapped around each other is bad enough... But with Snow on top of them? One of them looks ready to perform a certain act, and the other is displaying a ":hmmm:" face over his ass.

It would have been better if they were designed to face downwards I think. Then again... Snow sitting on their asses (or using one of them as a seat and the other sticking out near the handles) would be quite silly on other levels.

I guess it was one of those things that sounded a really cool idea when it was proposed in a meeting, but when it came to designing the motorcycle the two sisters form, whatever position they tried to put them could probably be interpreted in a dodgy way.

I suppose the could have designed the bike a bit like a pirate ship. I think it was from cartoons but I remember pirate ships would have a woman figurine grafted to the front pretty much leading the ship from the front.

Yes, there is some sexual ideas to be had when looking at it, but to me at least, they didn't really jump out at me as being obvious. It took me a while to think about 'oh yeah the seating arrangement can be seen a provocative'.

I think it looks pretty cool TBH. I haven't seen any gameplay of Snow using the bike but it will be interesting to see how he rides it... her... them? :ffs:

I bet the 'Shiva Sisters' like it >.>

If you know anyone that owns a motorcycle, and ever says something that could somehow seem sexual, you could always say "That's what Shiva said last night."

This might have been better.

It might have looked quite cool and awesome to have one of the heads as the front of the motorbike, and perhaps the other one could have been tucked away, or perhaps could open her mouth and become the exhaust.

I think anoher way they could have got round it would have been to have both of them tuck their heads into their bodies during the transformation. Since they are on the seat part of the bike they are not seen so much and may look out of place anyway, so they could have been tucked in.

I don't complain about this to extremes though. It can look quite dodgy when you look at it, but so do many things.

I personally think the Shiva sisters thing was a bad idea from the start. I mean it's something different and whatnot but, I preferred it the usual way tbh.
This picture is very odd :hmmm: I dun like it at all. I mean it was a good idea but when it came down to it.... I don't think it should have been done. Like no offence but the design just threw me off completely. That's all imma say though.

I think it's the look on his face that really gives it the...*ahem*...overtones. :hmmm:

Perhaps it's just the angle of the shot? In the game it might look more.... conventional.

It'll still be interesting to see what the game throws up though. But the sexual conatations have never been lost on FF. Look at Tifa's huge square boobs, or X-2 etc

Okay, let the record show I laughed my ass off when I saw this!

Now that's just unfortunate design! I liked the idea of having the summons in 13 actually being controlled by using the character, and I appreciate creative ways of trying to hide them in plain sight, but this.... isn't hiding.

I like the exhaust idea someone mentioned above earlier. I think it would've been better if the face of the one Shiva sibling was some sort of figurehead on the front of the vehicle, like you see on old sailing vessals.

A la example

Even cooler if the headlight double as her eyes or something. Why is it that these Japanese designs are so pervy? I detect a Freudian slip.... They really should consult us fans/players before releasing something so....

Odd. :wacky:

let the record know i laugh to espacaily after seeing his face.

Uh and the religiuse groups is going to have a field day with this i just know it.
They be using this saying how evil Final fantasy is.
Plus i like the design it like the one shive sister is looking right at him so they can comanicate better to me it may be taken as a bit pervy but still the design i can't argue with it awesome.

sorry for bad eng

This is actually quite funny! What would Serah say!? :O

Anyway I dunno if people will take much notice of the way the sisters are postioned to make the bike, but now it's been pointed out you really have to think what was going through the designer's heads when they designed these things, I mean look at Hecatoncheir he's got loads of arms and stuff :gonk:

Maybe the sisters should have just transformed completely... like morphed. Like all traces of human like structure was gone. No face or boobage. That would have worked out just fine. They should have made it so the Shiva sisters could run into each other and then there would be a big white flash and they'd fuse into a motorcycle, no faces on it, no legs, no boobies, just...a motorcycle...

Most likely. They find something to moan about in everything, regardless of how bullshit religion, they should keep their nose out of where it doesn't belong. I'll admit I was sceptical about the introduction of the way summons were to be in Final Fantasy XIII, but at the end of the day, it's something different and original. I couldn't care less about tradition when it comes to summons, I'm all for something new.

Well I can see there reasoning behind doing it, afterall sex sells, and the more controverisal a product, the more units it will shift (not that kind you pervs :wacky: ). I'd definatley say this is a push to try rope in a younger audience.

Personally I dont like the design too much, but if it works for them, its all good.

That's the first I've seen that image like that. Is that a true rendition of how the bike looks in the game? Kinda surprising, but I think that as the years go on and games are put out, the developers will try to get away with more provocative images and what they can get away with.

I couldnt help, but lark. I think it Snows expression that "nails" it on the head XD I dont think the whole Shiva motorbike thing was the bets idea, looking at this photo ...

I was trying to look for something funny, as these things always go. I was just turned-off when I saw it though. It must be Snow's expression.

Granted, I haven't played FFXIII, but I guess I'm just not too keen on the bike concept--it's too tacky for my taste. The position and the expressions... :hmmm:

Hats off to Square for getting away with this one.

Haaaa yeah I saw that picture and thought the same thing. That has to be the most kick face motorcycle I have ever layed eyes upon.

well if you look close enough where steiria's nipple would be its exposed I have the book and you can see a lil nip or a lil round dot.....where a nipple would be outside of her top...am I the only one who noticed this?

I reckon the Shiva Sisters are awesome, Yes this picture looks abit odd but. Overall they're just.. great. :)

And i doubt everyone who drew up the Shiva Sister's were not thinking about anything on those lines... A sexual way. >:l
HE WOULDN'T DO THAT, HE LOVES SERAH!
