Do you look your age?

I get IDed often. And I've been told based solely on photos that I look anywhere between 12 and 25. Pretty annoying.
 
Most people think that I am about 16 years old and it gets kind of annoying. I always get carded at bars or if I am going to an 18 or over event. It is funny when people are surprised that I am older than them.

Although the worst happends when people think that my fiance is dating an underage girl <.<
 
Haha no I don't, I look so young still at the age of 16 :worried: I am tall though, but Height doesn't make age. I guess I dress my age, who knows really.
 
I think a lot of times it depends on who you're seen with. I used to live with my dad on the weekends a few years back, and went food shopping with him sometimes, and when I went to the counter to buy a lottery ticket on my 21st the woman asked for my ID. However, when I went by myself to pick up tickets for someone else not long after that on a separate trip (different store), no one bothered to card me. I think a lot of people really just have a general idea of age based on that, and your clothes too--i.e., being a girl, if you look young, you're wearing cute clothes, and you're with someone who looks a lot older/parental, you're assumed to be a teenager; however if you look young but are by yourself and dressed like a frump, no one asks any questions. That's just my experience.
 
People say I look around 19 because I dress a little older than my age. The police almost arested me for using my student metrocard saying that its for kids only :confused: I am 16, wtf!? It does not help to look older than you are :sad3:
 
I've always looked slightly older, I think. I've never had problems getting into things that I wasn't supposed to! Although, I don't think that I look that old. But then you really never! I think it's more based on how you act then what you look like, so maybe I just act older.
 
Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. I guess it depends on what Im wearing or if Im wearing any makeup or not. Like last week I got asked if I was older than 14 at a restaurant and Im 19. :huh:
 
I generally get ID'd whenever there's a certain age requirement. I'm 19, but I can never buy cigarettes or alcohol without bringing my ID. It gets worse when I go to the casino, because even though I use my ID to get in (and have to tell them my life story to make sure it all checks out) I have the casino officials always coming up to me while I'm playing cards and telling me they think I'm 16 or 17.

Youthful looks like mine run in my family though. I suppose we're pretty genetically well-off, so I don't take this for granted. I consider it a good thing that just takes time to have its benefits.
 
Nope, everyone says i look like i'm still 15. I don't know if thats a good thing or not though to be honest. Though for some reason when i put my glasses on people say i look a bit older. Whatever that means, i still look the same so i don't know why they say that.
 
Sometimes I get told I look older, about 18 or 19 when I'm actually 16. But at first glance, sometimes people think I am my real age because I'm only 5 ft 1. But if you look closer, apparently I look older in my face and dress sense.
 
Some people tell me I look 16, probably because of how I dress. People are surprised when I tell them I'm 18. They look at me like I'm crazy.

I get ID'd fairly often when I go out, and oddly I do at Gamestation too. There are a few bars and the like that have stopped asking me for ID now, but I'm pretty sure that's just because they recognise me.

And the girl I was with on Thursday night wouldn't believe that I'm 21 until I showed her my passport either. D:
 
Nope, and it sucks. -__- Most presume I'm still in high school, or ask if I'm 16 or so.

I'm 19 going on 20, thank you very much. -__- But I suppose it isn't all bad since I'm not trying to buy cigarettes or alcohol or anything like that. It's just annoying.
 
People still think I look younger than I am. I recall a guy at the train station asking how old I was (whether it was out of interest or not, I'll never know) and I told him I was 20. He thought I was 15.

Went Hollywood Bowl last Saturday and I got ID'd, which didn't surprise me. But the guy said I had a baby face. And yet when I got to the bar to order a drink, I was surprisingly not ID'd. What a strange coincidence.

It used to be fun getting told that I looked younger than I was, but I'm not sure now. >_>
 
I turn 25 tommorow and I can safely say I dont look my age at all. I love watching peoples reactions when they find out how old I am XD
 
Well I've always been told I look my age, but I often get told to either "stop acting like a 60 year old" or "stop acting like a teenager" I guess I cant win when it comes to that part.

ID'ing has never really been that much of a problem for me, in fact I actually quite enjoy it when the rare occassion of ID'ing does come around, makes me feel rather good about myself xD
 
I am 17 and I was once asked to tend a bar :wacky: When I told them they should ID me first, they said "well your 21 right?" and when I said no they looked so embarrassed :8F: It made my day. Some people also say I look 19ish, and I have no clue why. I barely have facial hair and I'm average height (Yes that is a factor I have found). People always assume I'm older.
 
no way i look my age,im told that im suspicious in stores,and my beard grows fast every week,i get carded a lot,im mistaken as a fully aged adult sometimes.
 
I'm 21, almost 22. Most people say I look around 18-19? Ha. So obviously no I do not look my age. But I don't mind. I means when I'm older I will still look reasonably young. Well, this is what I am hoping for anyways.
