i really feel sorry for the COD people on psn today.... bet there having fun XD

this psn downtime is putting me off getting a ps3... cuz why get it when the service goes down.. i never known XBOX Live to go down before

Xbox Live has gone down a few times too. Usually right before a big update. I'm guessing PSN is doing the same.

The updates don't bother me too much really, because I'm not on every day. Really it isn't a loss though. While they may not have as many of them for the XBOX they also charge you a monthly fee for the live service, which is expensive, for me anyways.

At least the PSN is free. So I'm not going to complain about the updates. Free online is free online...I'll deal with the occasional update.

Xbox live goes down but rarely for long. Couple of hours at most from my experiance. PS3 pisses me off anyways. Constant bloody HUGE updates.

Plus, I don't mind paying, even if strapped for cash. I like the extra stuff it has like Sky Player etc.

Yep and updates don't usually take very long, usually a few hours but sometimes it may take a day. In the meantime I just work on my backlog of single player games.

It's not just my PS3? I spent all last night trying to figure this shit out.

I get the "This PS3 has been disconnected from the Media Server." Error 80710A06? Internet connection is fine but can't sign into PSN?
