Characters you'd like to be in Dissidia FF

Sounds like a nice game, it would be cool to see Edge for a good guy and Old school Gilgamesh from 5 for a bad guy, and see them go at it. that would totally rock. . General Leo should also get a rematch with Kefka

Ignoring EVERYONE that I know to actually be a character in the game, my Top 10 choices would be slightly biased, and probably more newer characters than old.

Off the top of my headddd: (in no order)
1. Cloud. That's a given. Especially if they try to incorporate some sweet looking moves from Advent Children, though they'll probably tone that down.

2. Vincent Valentine. Just because he's a "gotta-have" character for me. THough he might not do so well in these kind of fights... [Still upsets me he hasn't appeared in Kingdom Hearts...haha.]

3. Squall. He's a great character, great fighter, and has (arguably) the coolest weapon in the entire series

4. Auron. I mean..come on. It's frickin' Auron. He'd be fun to use, plus it'd be a breath of fresh air from fast moving teenagers with flimsy swords. =P

5. Tifa/ Riku- sorta squished 'em together even though I know I shouldn't. Two of my favorite characters ever. It'd be nice to see a few good female faces. PLus, the hand-to-hand combat could be sweet. And both have some nice "Limit" moves or whatever you want to call them.

6. Freya. One of my all time favorite characters. She's unique, she's got incredible fighting skills, she can hold her own, and I think it would be awesome to see her all redone and stuff.

7. Balthier- Again, guns not so good for battle in this weird bizzarro FF world. But then again, you can equip him with other crap like hammers. =P ANyways, I don't think FFXII really fits into the whole spectrum of the FF legacy, but I just think he's too great a character to pass up.

8. Cecil/Kain- ANother lumping together that shouldn't be. Both are great characters with great weapons and skills, not to mention costumes, and both have sweet personalities to boot. I'd love to have a one-on-one fight with these guys. Or better yet, a co-op battle. ...Nice.

9. Reno, Cissnei, or Tseng- Pretty much the Turks in general, because a) they never really get to show off their fighting skills, b) they'd bring a nice change of character to the game c) They're just so darn smooth and awesome. Plus- electro-rods and who knows what else.

10. Noctis- This probably really super doesn't count, but the protagonist from Versus just looks so darn cool, I couldn't help it. Plus, his weaponry would be just darn sweet in this game, all those magical mystical swords and whatnot. Fun to play, fun to watch, fun to be. Works for me.

There's more characters I'd like to be, but thems the brakes.

Just so you know- I don't want to play as Sephiroth, because he's just too dang strong to begin with. It just isn't fair to stick him in a fighting game. Plus, if I ever witness Zidane kicking Sephiroth's ass in a fight, I might have to shoot myself.
 
I was hoping to see some XIII characters, like Lightning, Noctis, or something. I mean, its a good chance to interest the PSP gamers about the XIII series.. So, why not? I think there isn't such thing in the game though
 
I dunno, I'd kinda like to see a sorta tag team thing... like you pick Palom and Porom and you can switch between them, using black and white magic respectively. But then when you Ex mode you can cast the Twin magics. Or like a tag team of Vivi and Steiner, and Steiner can use the Magic Sword attacks. Stuff like that would be neat.

I'd also like to be able to play with Amarant and Kain, not as a tag team but just as individual characters. It'd be neat if Amarant still had Spare Change and you could huck yer PP at them for uber damages. Also I'd like to Chakra my health back up, that'd be cool. It would be cool if Kain still had his Jump command so he could just up and leave the battlefield for a few moments then drop in on their head.
 
I really would like to see lady Ashe and Basch from final fantasy XII cause lets face it they are pretty awesome. More characters that I would like to see in the game would most likely be vincent and Tifa from final fantasy VII and some characters from final fantasy advent children. I think kadaj would be pretty badass to have in this game. But the must have character in this game is AURON! How can you have a fighting game and not have the most badass fighter of them all?! He is a must have for any fighting game that bears the final fantasy name. I mean his overdrives alone should be reason enough to add him they are so awesome

Bring Seymour for the love of christ!! Doesn't fit well though in a fighting fame >_>

Who i would love to see is Barret though :P

I would like to see a moogle and Cait sith (only the cat not the giant puppet thingy) i think that would be sweet and also pretty funny i can see it now sephiroth and cait sith battle to the death lol :D
 
and it would be funnier if cait sith won

i want to see a tonberry in it, how pathetic would it look trying to get you with its knife while moving at speeds of one mile a year
 
I don't suppose Setzer is in there is he, if he's not then I really want him in he's really cool and really good, I wold really want to see Shadow in the game too, adding some ninja moves to him would really be cool.
 
I want more characters in it and there is a high possible chance that there will be some DLC to get more characters because of the new playstation store update. I would love to see more of the chicks like Yuna. Well Yuna and Rinoa would be cool for dissidia. A possibility of some FF Xiii characters as dlc because there are XIII icons to use as your profile.
 
I'd love to see a "Funny characters" DLC pack...

Including:
Quina
Mog
Cait Sith
Palom and Porom (perhaps have one of them, but then in the Ex-Mode have them standing on each others shoulders, casting double magic etc)
 
I would enjoy any one of the fist fighters... Tifa, Zell or Amarant would all be fun...
 
Characters i would like to see in this as playable characters are the Tonberry mainly, just because i'd love to use his attack. Though the slowness would be epic fail, once he finally gets to the enemy I could do huge damage >: D

Another character would be a Bangaa. Favourite race in FF so it would be cool to be a playable character as one.
 
I forgot Tifa to add -__- I really like her she would really kick ass, just playing with her makes me feel awesome. :gasp: and I like her personality so seeing her in the game would really have been awesome. -__-
 
Tifa and Cid.Maybe Garnet,it'd be cool to have a summoner,maybe they could improve her moves a little.
Dunno if Vincent should be there too,he had had his own game already so I'll go for Zack,cause he didn't appear i FF7 that much.
 
I would like to see Seifer, Seymour, Zell, Zack, Barret, Cid (VII) and Celes. It's a shame that they only have two characters from each game, it would be pretty cool if other characters were released as DLC or something along those lines.
