No. You PM you entry to Tia/Nephry/Eroica.
I hope that was helpful.

dang im going have too much compition :sad3:
But I will own you all!

But seriously good luck everyone :wacky:

Interesting theme, indeed. :ryan: I'll spruce up something for this, as well .

I've already won. The rest of you may as well not even try(y)

I think it just depends on what strengths the writer/poet has at. For me personally, dark themes like death is right up my alleyway. :ryan:

Your right. It depends on the person.

i just think that a total Angsty poem dosent do a Death fic justice.

There should be some ties to hope/love in it. To point out the better side of Life.

I guess.

Just the more Satanic side is Rather..Gory.

As its meant to Scare and Terrorize.

Then theres the "loss" side of Death. Where its meant to break your heart.

Welps. good luck everyone!

There are also poets who strangely revere the idea of death though in a rather non-malignant way. Death is usually elevated to something godly or something. It could be interesting to do something like that.

Anyway, I'll give this a shot despite the cheery theme. :mokken:

"Death be not proud..."

:wacky: Oh yeah. I'm gonna try my hand at this. There are several ways to tackle this: make it about dying, what's past dying, inflicting death, disdaining death -- the limits are truly infinite. I'm kinda surprised that this competition's theme is so predictable. XD I mean, how much poetry is about something OTHER than death or abuse? LMAO

Now, my question is this: Are form poems allowed? Like limericks or sonnets -- are these allowed? Limericks are 5 lines but can be very powerful, sonnets have a basic structure as well; or are these entries supposed to be totally free-form?

Oh well! I never joined any of these things before... so I suppose I'll give this one a shot for once! Death should be a theme that is meaningful enough for me to have opinions about. I look forward to seeing other entries though!

I am so far in that I may never pull myself out again :tehe:

But seriously I must try this, even if Hal has already won.

Submitted my entry. I doubt it wins. I had too much of a hard time with the form I was trying to write it in. The entire last stanza is FORCED AS FUCK.

But you guys should get a good laugh out of it. :wacky:
