Well i was reading through old posts and threads from when i first joined and i was less than impressed with the quality of my posts. On the most part my replies were only a few lines long and the grammar was....well quite shite xD
I think Im a better poster now definitely than what i was when i first joined, i wouldnt class myself as one of the best on this site  not a chance, but i dont think Im terrible either. Yeah, sometimes my grammar is poor but thats usually because i dont always read over my posts before i send them >_<

I think aswell the quality of my post depends on whether or not Im interested in the subject at hand. A subject i only fain interest in Im gonna find hard to write something good on, whereas if its a topic which i know about and am interested in, I can write quite a good bit and Il always be sure to check my grammar and punctuation.

So how bout you guys? Feel youve improved since you first joined? Or would you say youve remained the same? Or you just point blank a terrible poster ;)

I feel that I've stayed the same since I first joined.

I've been using forums since I was in highschool and I know that I've definitely improved since then. But I've gained experience and grown up since then and therefore when I joined here I was alot more mature and already accomplished at posting.

Well I think so anyway. XD

This reminds me of an MSN convo I had with Suki months back... And i'm sure anyone who knew me back then would agree... I had the worst grammar EVER, half my posts were one or two words, I acted like a little kid on sgar overdose, the full package of a n00b :gasp: I actually cringed at the sight of it D:

Hahaha i was actually thinking about you, i remember you from before i left this forum and your posts were terrible, you spammed the hell out of everywhere. When i came back, which was like a year later, i couldnt believe when i found out that 'klonoa' was FFGUY  I was reading your posts like wtf??? This cant be FFGUY, youve improved a tonne thats for sure, your pretty cool now :)

After looking at some of my older posts I certainly hope I have improved. :O

I think I have improved a little bit. These days I try to read over my posts at least once before I post them so I can fix any obvious mistakes. But much like LD, I usually put a lot less effort in when I'm not particularly interested in the conversation.

I did win 'most improved member' 2 years in a row, I believe :monster:
Just because you have improved doesn't mean you can spam up my Gaia:wacky:

I've stayed the same. Though when I first joined I was kinda trollish, as I hardly ever said anything nice to anyone and was sarcastic all the time and never missed the opportunity to be scornful. I can still be like that, but only went I want to.
So I guess that's an improvement.

Well the first time I joined I was probably a really terrible poster. But I can see myself improving now. I have been here for Idk I think 7 months now and I still plan to improve alot. Although people say my posts are not that really good I guess ill just have to improve even more. Ill keep on trying to get the hang of it.

I don't think I'm much different than when I joined here, but my interest in most things related to the site has definitely dropped, which in turn has affected the manner in which I post.
I've definitely improved a lot from when I first joined a forum three years ago, back then I was a stupid little bastard. :wacky:

I joined the forum when I was 14 years old, so naturally I've improved a lot since then. Sometimes I see oldoldold posts of mine and just delete them xD In fairness, FFF was my first internet forum, and I had no idea wtf to do :wacky:

I think I've remained the same in my short time here. But when I joined my last big forum, my posting was horrific. People have trouble understand txt talk apparently. Especially how I'm used to saying things. So yea, my posting has improved and since I've been on FFF I think I tend to type too much about too little. Just to sound impressive to myself I think. Haha.

I've probably gotten worse to be fair.

ahahaha

Cracked me right up xD

I've certainly improved from the firsts few months when I was so clearly new and a bit of a spammer, but I think my spelling and grammar fail has got WORSE! Im just too lazy to check what Ive posted most of the time and as long as you know what Im getting at I dont care :wacky:

I like to think I've improved.

Not only the quality of my typing and english skills, but also my personality.

Looking back, I have a hard time believing that was me, to be honest.

Well the first interest I had in this forum was actually giving and taking FF12 helps and hints every now and again. So of course my quality of posts have changed quite a bit. I am full of quirks like the next person, so I can either make posts which are point driven posts, or just reflection posts. My quirk though is if I reflect long and hard enough and over analyze something I can write an essay. So it's hit or miss with me, but I've been primarily the same since the beginning.

It is all situational I guess.

I've stayed the same. I've been using forums since 2001 so I've had alot of experience since then. I've definitely improved since then too. I never really "typed like a noob" so to speak, but I used to use alot of "..............." at the end of my sentences and such.

I've probably gotten worse to be fair.
Aye-ron-ee. More effort, ya bawbag. :awesome:

I've stayed the same. Though when I first joined I was kinda trollish, as I hardly ever said anything nice to anyone and was sarcastic all the time and never missed the opportunity to be scornful. I can still be like that, but only went I want to.

I must piss you right off, then. :wacky:

I've definitely "improved" but it'll be down to maturity more than anything else. I was an arrogant, naive 14 year-old when I joined and getting a GM job made me feel a bit untouchable. I'd say that my current self is now a polar opposite to my old self. I probably broke my own "more effort!" rule back in the day as well. Shameful days indeed.

I think I'm worse off 'cause all you crazy people have influenced me negatively. :O

Seriously, back then I was posting paragraphs worth in threads like this and right now I can barely manage 3 sentences. So no...although I did post a lot of nonsense threads back then too which are embarassing, especially when you put it the way Aztec did in the staff lounge. :'(

My posts are more friendly then when I first joined. Think I was abit nervous chatting online, so I came across as a bit of a bitch. I hope my posting has improved, my spelling is still not 100% perfect, but thats the way I am lol.

I think I became a better poster as I got to know the site better. When I first joined I couldn't tell one section from another and also didn't even KNOW what spam was, and I didn't get the whole 'different rules in different sections' thing, so I was a pretty crap poster. Though in my first couple of months I didn't really post a lot anyway and just lurked most of the time...

So yeah, I think I've improved. :wacky:

Also...
In fairness, FFF was my first internet forum, and I had no idea wtf to do :wacky:
This :monster:
