Just as the title suggests, post your name aliases dating from when you first used the internet (mainly chatroom and forum uses) up until now. Why did you choose those particular names? Which do you think better suits you?

When I first used the internet, I was 14 and was known as Red Butterfly. (Chatroom, e-mail addresses, and messengers). I know, pretty simple. I got the idea from this one soap opera I used to watch a long time ago, and stuck with that username for quite a few years. People would refer to me as "Red" in short, and I quite liked it...back then.

Anyway, there's quite a few more, but they are irrelevant since I used them only for a short amount of time.

Then a few years ago, I changed to Mitsuki. I got it off from this anime called, "Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien". Of course, there are a lot of Mitsuki characters in animes, but Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien's Mitsuki was the one that really captured my interest and have now been using that nickname with great ardor. I'll probably stick to Mitsuki for many years to come as I am very attached to it. Crazy, no? ^_^

I think Mitsuki suits me better than Red Butterfly. I know people would call me "Suki" or "Mits" and I like it. :wacky: Certainly better than "Red".

Anyway, enough about myself. Your turn, please.

When I first started using things that suggested a nickname.

That was back in the Amiga time.
I started with Red Fox.
and I still use it.

so.. lets see.. that ends up for roughly 12 or 13 years or so.
 
The first time I used a forum (System Of A Down) I was Incorrect English ^^

I'm still Miss Lockheart on my home forum, because it's admin-less so we don't have a namechange thread. Still I get affectionately ML or Val-han there which is nice :)

Since the I've used Miss Valentine where ever I go, seems more appropriate being such a self-confessed fangirl :neomon:

My most recent Frisky I think, suits me rather well, I v become rather attached to it actually :wacky: Il probably end up sticking with that one :neomon:
 
Sir Psycho would be my first Forum alias, I quite liked it at the time.
Ekirei was my next, roughly translated as Pestilence in Japanese.
Godspeed, would be next, as I'm sure some of you remember from back in the day (Riku at least)

And Finnegan, well Finn is my middle name, so I added the egan for the sake of it.
 
Let's see...

I went by Moogles elsewhere. I hate 'em, but I wanted a name that fit with Final Fantasy.

Whenever I mess with random chatrooms (pretty much never), I use Capn' Parka. Can't explain that one. It's just a random name that popped into my head.

And now I go by VoN, my real name...but with alternating caps. I'm sooo creative.
 
Pooley to start out with, and I've had a few variations of it. I've been Bond on a few other forums. And I've gone through dozens of other names, elsewhere like Hayley Williams, Sgt. Angel, Lord Cutler Beckett, Alex Turner, The Stig, Casanova, Chewbacca, Michael Scofield, Saddam Hussein and more that I can't remember.

Initially I started out with the username "Vergil", which I kept for about 3 years after getting the internet. On my first forum I later changed that to "Agni", but didn't exactly like it so I reverted. I was inspired by the Devil May Cry series in the choosing of Vergil, and I always had a penchant for villains. ;p

I kept Vergil for a number of months being here too, until I finally changed it to Saix. Reason being that of all recent games played at that point, Saix was the most interesting for me. Plus I really wanted a change.

I've gone through various usernames on other sites, including [but not limited to]-

Reason for choosing them? Most of them have all played the role of antagonist in some form or other, except for Commander Surge and Corporal Punishment - which I just chose because I thought they sounded good. ;p

And now I changed to Kuja, for he is my favourite villain to date.
 
Username Story

(I'm not quite sure if a thread like this has been made. If so, feel free to close it. :) Or if this is even in the right place. :O)

I see a lot of interesting usernames and I wonder why, how, where they got it.

(I'll share mine after I read others'. And, no, it's not because I like eyes. :confused:)
 
My username is supposed to be a joke at my expense, seeing as I'm gay. Usually they call those EXTREMELY gay men flamers. You know, the ones with lisps and stuff. I'm not like that at all, so really the name doesn't fit. I think it's time I change it. But that's my story.
 
I say poop a lot. I dunno.

This name appeals to my weird sense of humor. I laugh when people talk about crap. Turds, feces, excrement, fecal matter, shit, poop. Gets a laugh outta me! I learned how to say poop instead of fuck when I get ticked off, so that's good. Helps when I'm around youngsters.

Throw a Mister in for kicks. Mister Poop. It's absurd, but I like it.
 
I change my name quite a lot, but there is an extremely uninteresting story about how I cam to choose Frylock.

I was talking to VR and Cerri on teh MSN and VR asked me who my leader was and I said Master Shake. Then we talked about ATHF then Cerri said HEY GUISE WE SHOULD ALL CHANGE OUR NAMES TO ATHF CHARACTERS OLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Obviously they didn't and I was cruelly tricked:neomon:

Incorrect English was the first real username I had on a forum, it was System Of A Down's forum, my first regular place (must remember to go back and visit sometime :confused:). I first ever logged on there as Sam (oh dear), which was obviously really boring so I asked some of the guys there to pick out something for me. And Incorrect English was the one that appealed to me most, so that was me for a while.

Seeing all the funny threads about spelling and grammar made me remember it, so I decided that it would be my first namechange since I'm usually too lazy to do it often :P

Now I'm really attached to my name, and my Near sig of course ^^ but I wasn't expecting all the lulz that would come from it. Cheers guys!!!
 
My username is because I am a huge fan of Cerridwen's beauty and personality. She is my idol in every way. :neomon:
Mine first came as Amelia Jinx, for some reason, I do not know. It was just the last sense of randomness I had in myself.
Second came in as Kelet Queen Amelia, since I was so fascinated by Kelets and their history (I apparently read the whole history on Wikipedia:monster:)
Third was...hm...I don't remember. I think it was Aerisu, but that seemed to be my fourth. Let me know if you find out my third username. :)
Fourth was Aerisu. Aerisu is the Japanese name for Aeris, as the American FFVII made a mistake and had the name Aeris into Aerith. I like either way, they're both interesting. But Aerisu gives some thoughtfulness into the name "Aeris".
Fifth was Kupo. My sense of randomness had come back bit by bit, so I put in Kupo for kicks. I quite didn't really like this one, for it didn't to anythng I like.
My last now is my current username, Cherri. I mentioned it already in my first line; ;)
My usernames connect to all sorts of things, for that is the reason I have unusual names that seem random, but not.

It was the first forum username I'd ever used, and I was a real Final Fantasy VII fanfag at the time, though I was pretty hot for Final Fantasy VIII as well.

Moondoggie - At the time I'd really liked Eureka Seven a lot, and had just finished up the Eureka Seven games.

Moondoggie's probably one of my favourite characters, based purely off of design. Plus the name sounded kewl.

Squizzgar - Metalacolypse or gtfo.

And L... because I really like L. I've never used an original name before. It's so much fun trying to be someone else imho. :wacky:
