Had a desire to share this with people, it comes from me and I wrote it up just cuz I wondered why I played!

Play I for adventure
Play II for a created persona
Play III for a desire
Play IV for a whole new world
Play V for a character with heart
Play VI for some input on your life
Play VII for the depth of a book
Play VIII for the love that you've touched
Play XI to go back in time
Play X to escape
Play X-2 to make sure that you did
Play XI just to pay
Play XII to get back to your roots
Play XIII and it's started anew

I - To see where it all started
II - Because Castle Pandemonium is an epicly awesome track
III - Because the DS remake is pretty good
IV - Because it's awesome
V - Because it has Gilgamesh in it
VI - For Kefka and Ultros
VII - Because everyone else does
VIII - For Triple Triad
IX - Because I feel like punishing myself
X - Because I feel like I have to play it before X-2
X-2 - Because Rikku is wearing hardly any clothing
XI - Because it might persuade me to not sell my 360
XII - Because it's easily the best
XIII - Because I've lost the will to live
 
I - Play remakes for bonus dungeons
II - Don't replay
III - Still need to finish
IV - For Rydia and Edward
V - I prefer the job system on 5 then the one on 3. Also for Gilgamesh and Clash on the big bridge.
VI - It's emotional great story good gameplay i like most of the characters and is one of the only ones i enjoy replaying. Also because of decisive battle, dancing mad, Kefkas theme and Relms theme.
VII - I don't like VII i just play when i've got nothing to do because it's extremely easy.
VIII - One of the best games (Drawing with VI) It has Squall and Laguna in and it's joint with 6 for best soundtrack. Also Junctioning owns.
IX - I think it's fun.
X - I really enjoy this, i like the side missions/quests and enjoy sphere grid.
XI - Better then XIV
XII - Everyone has an awesome accent and i eventually got into the gameplay, license board was good. Also it has Gilgamesh and the hardest boss in the series ever, Yiazmat.
XIII - If i'm forced to at gunpoint i will continue to play this.
 
I - Because it was the first one
II - Seemed a lot of fun, which it was
III - Still need to finish
IV - Easily one of the best ones
V - Love the job system, and one of my favorite soundtracks
VI - Very touching story, a very lengthly playthrough, epic soundtrack, lovable characters
VII - Loved everything about it, characters, music, world
VIII - Still haven't made it past the first disc
IX - Because it went old school, the right way
X - This had a lot of stuff to do, lots of sidequests, different way to level up, great graphics, emotional story
XI - Haven't played it
XII - Seen the graphics, seemed to good for the PS2, I love the battle system, and the soundtrack wasn't too bad.
XIII - Best looking FF, battle system was too easy, too linear, still loved the game
 
VI – For Kefka.
VII – Uhm... For being the first FF I ever played? Also for Cloud's chocobo hair.
VIII – For SquallxRinoa. Also for Laguna's leg cramps.
IX – For the Saiyans! Also for having that gorgeous bitch wearing a thong as the main villain.
XIII – For Lightning.
Dissidia – For making me know that FF7 wasn't the only FF game. :P

FFI - I was like 6 and I had an NES
FFII - It was finally in America!
FFIII - Same as above
FFIV - I was like 10 and I had an SNES
FFV - What are these "Jobs" you speak of?
FFVI - Because it is the best damn FF game
FFVII - I saw the commercial and creamed my pants
FFVIII - VII was good so VIII has to be good, right? .....(NO)
FFIX - I have money and a PS1!
FFX - The first FF on the PS2 is going to awes-NO!
FFX-2 - My mom thought I wanted it and I did not want to make her sad. This is called sacrifice.
FFXII - I had to try it even though I knew I would hate it. Which I did.
FFXIII - FF on the 360?! WTF?! This is should be-NOOOOO!

Play I because it's where the series began.
Play II because it's where the series started to develop.
Play III... (I haven't)
Play IV because of its (apparently) excellent story and the characters.
Play V... (I haven't)
Play VI because of its story and characters, as with IV.
Play VII to find out what all the fuss is about, for its story, and because it's the first 3D FF.
Play VIII to experience the relationship between Squall and Rinoa, for the gameplay, and the story. AND to discover Laguna's story! :)
Play XI because of the characters - Zidane seems amusing and Steiner IS amusing - and, again, to discover the story. The world is also pretty fine.
Play X because it was recommended to me, and I fell in love with it from the start.
Play X-2 because of a love for X...
Play XI (I haven't)
Play XII because it was the first FF game released after you discovered the series.
Play XIII because the world looks incredible and you're hoping for an improvement on the story in XII. Also, XII wasn't THAT bad...
 
FF 1 - Because a love for the series and wanna return to the beginning
FF II - Wanted to complete the series
FF III - Wanted to play it on an ipad.
FF IV - Probs one of the best
FF V - Gilgameshhhhhhh
FF VI - Don't remember much. Will play again soon
FF VII - People said it was the best *eyeroll*
FF VIII - Love a bit of romance :)
FF IX - First FF game for me. Very special indeed.
FF X - Loved the graphics at the time, great story line imo
FF XI - Nup, not yet
FF XII - Good question..why DID I play this game? :S
FF XIII - Had to! It was on the PS3! :O
 
Had to think about this.

FF VI - Kefka trolling.
FF VII - Hojo, Lucrecia, Jenova and Sephiroth trolling.
FF VIII - First Final Fantasy in space.
FF IX - Dragonball x Final Fantasy.
FF X - Bishie romance.
FF X2 - Dancing girls are a great mood stabilizer and anti-depressant.

FF Tactics - Unique battle arrangement & jobs system. Decent to good story.
 
I - It saved Square from being bankrupt
II - to play the sequel to a game that saved Square from bankruptcy
III - To learn where Moogles came from...
IV -To see how many more remakes/re ports a game can get.
V - For the kid side in you
VI - To hear a crazy clown laugh
VII - To see why you want to protect your identity
VIII - To learn the definition of emo
IX - To learn how to pick up chicks
X - To see what a dream looks like
XI - To pay monthly for a game
XII - To see what happens when men become girls
XIII - To see why Woman should never take the lead
XIV - To complain for months and months till something is done.


X-2 - To see how close Square well come to making a porno
XII-Revenent Wings - To see why Sequels really need to stop being made for FF games
Tactics - To see how Square could branch off into different types of RPGS
Tactics advance - to see how they failed at making a Tactics 2 game
Dissidia (both of em) - To wonder how FF characters would react to each other in other worlds
FF VII Crisis Core - to wonder how screwed up the VII story really is
FF VII Advent Childern - Lights camera ACTION!!!!
FF VII dirge of cerberus - again sequels not a FF thing...
FF Spirit Within - OOOHHH PRETTY!!!
FF unlimited - For an Anime

Play Tactics (psp) cause the Dark Knight class is avaible in this one
Play Tacitics (gba) just to try it
Play VII for Yuffie and its the first one with new awsome graphics
Play DOC for yuffie
Play CC just to see the true story behind zack
Play VIII cause I finally got to be a student in the game
Play X it was the first one on a updated console with new great graphics
Play X-2 for my favorite game
Play XII for the new battle system and penelo
Play XIII first one on multi-platform and new graphics,for a female in the main role and emotinally attached to fang.

Final Fantasy. Experience the job class system.

Final Fantasy II. Experience a whacky and strange leveling up system.

Final Fantasy III. Experience the job class system in better graphics.

Final Fantasy IV. Learn about the story how a murderous knight changed into a pansy.

Final Fantasy V. Experience FF III again, expect this time with a storyline.

Final Fantasy VI. Play the best game ever made !

Final Fantasy VII. Try and figure out what hair gel Cloud Strife uses for his hair.

Final Fantasy VIII. Learn latin. Thanks to latin songs, and latin puzzles !

Final Fantasy IX. For nostalgic memories from the older Final Fantasies.

Final Fantasy X For Auron.

Final Fantasy XI. To bow down to the corp that is SE, and give them money.

Final Fantasy XII. To find out Vaan's true gender, and realize that he isn't actually a woman with very small boobs.

Final Fantasy XIII. To watch characters get bitch slapped, just because.

Final Fantasy XIV. To be SE mind-slave, to give them more money.
 
I-It's the first game and I wanted to see how it was like. I can say that the series has definitely evolved from the first title.
IV: I'm a huge fan of Rydia, and I just love her.
VI: It's a great story, with some amazing characters. Definitely one of my favorites.
VII: Also a great story, has my favorite character, very emotional in so many ways, created lots of side stories/movies.
VIII: It has a nice modern spin to it, but still has that fantasy element. I found it a bit more easy to relate to.
IX: Still need to finish, but all in all it's a pretty great game. I love Beatrix
X: Three characters were pretty great, one being my second favorite female, and the other being my third favorite male. Nice storyline, loved the use of aeons and the switching out system.
X-2: I liked it. It was definitely different, storywise. I loved how Yuna evolved in character.
XII: I thought I'd like it, but I was wrong. I hated it. Never want to play it again.
XIII: Great combat, great story, and had the most enjoyable characters I've seen from a FF title thus far.
 
Why I play and re-played.

I. To relive what started the masterpiece.
II. To stop the rule of an evil man.
VI. To end the destruction of the world.
VII. To save the world.
VIII. To save the future.
X. To enter a whole new world.
XII. To regain rule of a lost kingdom.
 
Final Fantasy I - To play the first game in the series, I loved it
Final Fantasy II - To see the awkward experience system
Final Fantasy III - To play one of the least played FF games in the U.S.
Final Fantasy VI - To see if it is as great as it is proclaimed to be
Final Fantasy VII - To play the game the brought RPGs into the U.S. mainstream
