Yuna the steadfast summoner from Final Fantasy X is a playable character in Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy. She uses Aeons in battle. These screenshots show her summoning Bahamut to hit Jecht with Mega Flare. The other screen shows Yuna calling Shiva and Ixion at the same time.

This week’s issue of Famitsu has a look at the third form of two other Final Fantasy X characters. Tidus’ blitzball ready outfit is based on artwork from Yoshitaka Amano. Jecht’s costume also appears to be blitzball garb.

I know the FFX arena on Dissidia and that 2nd Screen shot shows Yuna in midair, the whole concept of her flying through the air and using Dash abilities will take some getting used to, and the Chase sequences?

How the hell did they work those for Yuna? X-2 Yuna certainly has the speed and mobility for chase sequences, but Summoner Yuna was not all that fast:hmmm: very much looking forward to using her in Combat.

Yuna looks like she could be fun, but there is definetely something off with her character portrait...and her Aeons. Anima > Bahamut. Anima would make the better finisher, in my opinion. Although if she can't summon Anima, perhaps they've included Seymour, who could...although if he's an assist character and not a full one, I will rage. Better that he isn't in it at all if that were to be the case.

...he's probably not in it any way, because Square Enix are morons, but...eh.
 
Wait, Seymour's confirmed for Duodecim now? O_O

Also I am liking how the summons are done, she should be less predictable with BRV attacks than others that way if Aeons just warp in :hmmm:
 
The designs of the summons from FFX are imo one of the best out there. Its nice to see the old familiar legends and in action. Yeah Tidus thinks he is on the beach or something lol..he is just showing off..

Also can Yuna summon any of the other summons as well?

Yojimbo would kick ass :griin:
 
Well at first nobody thought she can summon Valefor but now she can so I guess at a higher level she will be able to summon others. This is just me guessing here though. Her EX burst has all the Aeons arracking together in one attack. I guess they only put her main Aeons though. Anima, Magus sisters and Yojimbo were all secrets.
 
ha yes! Yuna isn't wearing her X-2 outfit......I'm glad SE are using the FFX Yuna in here........But still they better not give her some guns and a dressphere.

As for Tidus being topless..........Well let's just say Tetsuya Nomura has a gay side to him,doesn't bother me but its not like he's got a block of muscle to show off!

P.S :hmmm: gonna be intresting summoning different aeons at the same time :hmmm:
 
For a fictional, pixelated character, Tidus pulls off tanned and muscled very nicely :wacky:

If nothing else, I think it was suppose to relate to Jecht whose already been running around half-naked all the time already.

Assist Seymour would make me very happy to see, but I don't think Yuna not having Anima will indicate anything. That's also a optional aeon if I remember right, so they probably only included the aeons players would have definitely obtained in a "canon" playthrough of FFX :hmmm:

But whatever they add to Duodecim, even in the smallest capacity, I'll take it :jess:

Oh my. That Wedding dress Yuna is quite Pretty. I really cant wait for a full battle Video of Yuna. (A few snippets of vs jecht just dont cut it.)

Tidus.....I love you an all but if you become a jecht ripoff im gonna Slam my staff on your head while i summon a herd of angry cactuars to murder you. I can see you shirtless like Dear daddy but if you get his attitude...Well lets just say Yuna will have a lot of summoning to do.

I'm still waiting to see if Beatrix will be in this. Do not disappoint me, Square. :mokken:
