A German football club has banned strippers from performing in corporate boxes during football matches.

One box at Bundesliga side St Pauli belongs to Hamburg lapdance club Susis Show Bar, which installed a mirror and pole for dancers, AFP reports.

Strippers have also been banned from getting fully nude, even if they are performing when games are no longer being played.

Club president Stefan Orth told Bild: "We had a discussion with the owner of the box and made it clear there cannot be dances during the matches.

"There can be performances after the matches, there can be dances, but they must not end up nude. If they dance just once naked, they will be out of here!"

I didn't even know they had strippers at football matches over there. :lew:

I found the article quite hilarious tbh.

What happens in the box stays in the box :ahmed:

I never knew they had performances at the game or even during the game. You'd think a man's passion for a sport would come before a stripper.........daw who am I kiddin :britt: I find this hilarious and random.

:lew: They should do that at Stamford Bridge......It could make the players play better. (Terry/Ashly Cole.....smh cheating cunts)

Also wtf?.....there gonna be allowed,I guess the club president's just allowing it for his own pleasure.

This is so weird though, they didn't even give a reason in the article XD I don't really care either way what they want to do with their time in there, but for the purposes of the author of the article being a good journalist...why did it happen? :lew: I mean you could write an article about a celebrity passing gas, but you also have to have some sort of relevance, otherwise it feels like an incomplete article. :monocle:

This.

I mean, is it too distracting for players and or/fans? Also, what is the point in having strippers at a football game? It seems completely random.

This.

I've had a season ticket 3 years prior to uni and use my brothers when I'm back home and having strippers seems completely pointless. If you spend money to go to a football match then chances are you're going to watch the football, and part of it is the banter as well as the odd pint if you have one. If you want to go to watch a stripper just go to a strip club. :ffs:

Why would you need strippers to entertain you if you're going to watch the football?

Some people really surprise me with their stupidity.

Never heard of that happening here. People just go to the footy to watch the footy. 0_o

Is that too cliché now?

Wow. Thats pointless. If you're gonna watch strippers, get outta the box and give the damn seats to some real fans. Some of us poor buggers could use a box seat.
