I Declare this thread as the International Thread of Secrets

Whether it's something you can't tell your parents or your loved one, feel free to tell us and help gauge an opinion on whether or not you should share it.

Or it doesn't even have to be a serious secret, it could just be something silly you've never told anymore before.

My secret: Today I applied for a Airmiles Mastercard, which will be my first ever official credit card to use in the world. Well, I have my original bank Mastercard, but this one will have interest rates that I can start to akshually start establishing credit.

But my boyfriend doesn't approve of credit cards and I haven't told him.

He just believes that credit = debt = homeless = bad.

But he did live on a farm so he knows nothing of the fabulous shopping a credit card can give. :monster:
 
he has every reason to fear if you have a knack for spending :P
 
Only on useless things. D; Like FF figurines and what not. I'm not your typical girl where I'll go buy 500$ worth of shoes. >_>
 
I can understand the reason why your boyfriend might fear it. Even if it is your credit, it is addictive to have a damn thing where cash is non existent, yet you can pull it out of your ass as whim, with interest...
 
Yeah, I'm very wary of the interest... at 19.5%. D; But it also depends on what my limit is/what I get approved for. Being jobless atm when I applied, I don't think I'll have a huge enough limit to really put myself in debt.

Then gtfo my secret thread. D;
 
Well I didn't expect my credit card secret to be discussed through length, otherwise I would have opened up a thread for it in spam. :monster:

Okay, secrets...hm, I don't do much in that thing called real life, but even though this is kind of a boring secret, after I go upstairs to bed, I sometimes practice snoring before I go to sleep. I kid you not. :wacky:

If my 'secrets' are going to be that lame, I'll give 'em two at a time. >.> As far as I know, to others it doesn't go beyond just looking at the Moon and stars because I think it is fascinating or pretty to look at, but really I look up at the moon because it is Wolf-like, too. :8F:
 
My secret?

Uhm.....I often think about random people dancing naked in my head. It's graphic and includes my closest family/friends and is not sensual at all. It's just stupid and I only get this thought like once every two years.

I dunno why, I'm just crazy and messed up @_@

i dont think thats entirely unreasonable.

if you cant afford it. dont buy it.

if you can afford to buy it do so with your own money.

a typical girl would spend $500 on shoes and come home with only one shoe.

also my secret is this: my nipples are insanely hairy. i have some hair on my chest and on my enormous belly but my nipples...its insane. i have very long curly hairs growing around my nipples. sometimes when im bored i sit and tug the hair :hmmm:
 
I would say one of the shoes get lost/stolen on the way to it's new home. :gasp:

That's just my take on it. :hmmm: I'll have to think of some more of my little secrets. :wacky:

As for secrets, well I can't tell you my biggest secret as it's a bit much. >.<

So I'll go with an easy one.

Every night before I go to bed I turn the bathroom light on that's linked to our bedroom, to scare away any monsters that might be lurking. I check under my bed and have a look up the hallway and then shut the door.

In short...I am afraid of the dark and I'm convinced that monsters exist at 21 years of age.

When I turn the bathroom light off I sprint back to my bedroom 'cause I imagine all kinds of exorcist-esque monsters and Freddy Krugers behind me :ffs:

I also have the irritating habit of imagining scary crap whenever I'm trying to sleep

I have issues with this too, except it's usually with zombies or ghosts. Good to know I'm not alone :phew:

As far as a "secret"...well, I don't know if it really counts as a secret, but I'm a raging environmentalist :dave: I like animals better than a lot of the people in this world, and I get really irritated with people who have lots of children, unless it's in a third world country and they need them to help out on a farm or something, which was the original purpose for having large families anyway. But yeah, I guess I'd consider this to be something of a secret because it's not a very popular way to be, and most people I tell would probably be afraid I'd try to tie their arms around a tree and force-feed them vegan food, due to some of the stereotypes that go around :sad3:
 
another one of my secrets is that i just post in these threads to:

postcount++;

for instance now that its on two lines no one gives a shit because its on two lines and that immediately means its not spam even if im waffling on about the biggest heap of pish out.

oh. also sometimes when my hands are cold i'll deliberately touch my nipples, the hair usually stands on end when i do that :hmmm:

as for monsters in the dark, if theres anything that looks/is worse than me and roams about in the dark then i feel bloody sorry for it.
