I swore I was never gunna participate again, but alas, we doing it again this year?
 
As far as I know we are, but no plans have been made as of yet.
 
Awesome, I'l be foolishly signing up and complaining the whole time again then :wacky:
 
We were discussing this in the SB last night actually, and bringing up epic quotes by you and a few others. :D I don't wanna plan this anymore though. =[ Done it with Mark for the last two years and it's frustrating as hell. So it's up to the other staff members. =]
 
Yeah pretty much.

There's three clans to start off with and you get certain tasks and then you vote people off exactly like you would on survivor and then when it's down to the last few people, you're all up against each other for the win.

It was pretty fun last year when I played. >.<

Hmm, I might join it for the fourth time. xD
Always go out on the round before last...with the exception of Second Survivor. xD

If people can't take a joke though it ruins it for the rest of us, the whole idea is to flame people, yet somepeople take it too seriously and think it's personal attacks when it's not =/
 
Problem is, people sign up knowing this and still spit their dummy out when they get 'flamed' I think as long as people are aware that this is GOING to happen and to not take it personal, then we will ok, but it's the people that do this knowingly, and still cry that ruins it for the rest of us....

I think this point needs highlighting above anything else in the 'rules' (or lack therof :wacky: ), and if people can't handle it, it's their own tough shit, they know what they signed up for.
 
That is, if it actually happens this year. So far I don't think any of the staff is up to planning it. :hmmm: I definitely can't - school's starting in 3 days.
 
Actually, I could try and run it myself with two or three others. With only having lectures two days in the week and my afternoons taken up in the weekend, it could be possible. But of course, that'll depend on whether anyone else is up for doing it with me.

So as long as someone explains things to me, I'll help :3
 
I'd prefer to participate, but on the off chance that you get stuck with it by yourself, I'll give it a whirl. Though I thought Mark had mentioned Vikki wanting to run it/had planned some things already?
 
Vikki knows how it runs. However it does take ALOT of planning and careful procedure to make this go well...

The planning of the last one is probably still in the archives.

What it is probably needs to be explained better. Some people signed up last time because that's what everyone else was doing.
 
Yea, the first day of Survivor last time was epic =( until the no flaming rule came out... ;_; That sure ruined our fun.. I'm participating this year if it's also this year but hope there are no "repressing rules" >_> except the known ones like posting pornography materials etc etc...
