Hello, Final Fantasy-loving denizens of this domain! I come in peace. Well, most of the time. I can be a bit outspoken on occasion, to be honest with you. At any rate, I'm happy to finally be a member of a new Final Fantasy forum. (The last time was years back.) I'd also particularly like to make friends with any fellow Chrono Trigger fans. I recently got the figure set which I admit I boast about quite a lot. (One of them below.)

I think Chrono Trigger really raised the bar for RPGs back in the 16-bit days, but I didn't get to play CT until a few years ago since it wasn't released in the west outside of the USA, until the DS release. My favourite Final Fantasy game is FFVIII, which I feel is underrated. Although this opinion might ruffle the feathers of some people, I see Lost Odyssey as the real Final Fantasy XIII. Well, that's a short introduction of my RPG views.

p.s. The rules specify you can have two images in your signature. User CP contradicts this. Also, although the maximum height is mentioned in the rules, the width isn't, so I'm not sure what I should resize my sig to. Judging by the pixels, can I assume the maximum width is 600? Thanks.

Sigs seem to reduce their size for new members. I have a feeling things change when you reach a certain post count. I've never understood why. Belazor et Britannia

Welcome! I still have to finish Chrono Trigger, but I've played Chrono Cross and it's definitely one of those rare gems.

The width of the signature is not really an issue, since it will resize itself anyway. But ideally, 600 pixels sounds good, though you're allowed to stick two signatures side by side (as you might see some users here will sometimes do). Due to your usergroup, that may have something to do with you not being able to upload two signatures just yet. I honestly forgot how things work with new members, things change constantly and at times the User CP will give other users trouble with uploading signatures. Are you receiving some kind of error message?

Chrono Cross is on my "to play" list, so it's nice to see another person's recommendation. But do complete Chrono Trigger! I put off completing it at first, but now I have I'm not sure why I did. It's a true masterpiece. Well, since I'm not a person I guess that excludes me from the yet-to-be-stabbed list.

Edit: Forumon RPG is partially broken. How hard would it be to fix it? (It's kind of fun.) The arcade score submissions also don't seem to work properly.

Just checked your usergroup setting. It is indeed limited to only one image, and the next usergroup up has a limit of 2.

Yeah, unfortunately some members are not aware of the sig rule, or some choose to go over the limit a bit, so we have to send out PM reminders. Which reminds me, I've been pestering our tech admin to fix the signature space issues so it does not allow people to exceed the 400px in height. Nothing I can do in the ACP, he believes it to be a 'skin edit' of some sort. I'll give another reminder.

Welcome the the forums here. Hope ya have yourself some fun. As some have already suggested if you like Chrono Trigger you defiantly should aim to get and play Chrono Cross as well. Just be prepared to play through both of them a couple times, Cross at least 3 to get all the party members. As for Trigger if you want to see all the endings gotta do it like 16 or 18 times to see them all, as each point in the game after the main ending you can try and fight the boss for a different one. I only managed to get 2-3 of the endings myself.
