Though it's possible that when the first shot didn't kill / maim him they then fired 6 all in one go in order to be sure.

Or they fired multiple shots at once and he went down after the first few, but they fired so many when he went down that nobody could tell which shot actually killed him. LSD and such actually up pain reception, and can instill a sense of invincibility that makes them last longer, even when fatally hurt.

No, the cop fired once, saw the "zombie" wasn't stopping then old the man to stop again, man didn't listen, so cop fired six more rounds.
Don't cops usually shoot in the leg or shoulder to stop a criminal when they refuse to listen? to think that would be enough to stop a guy even tripping on LSD.

I think there are two main short term options with gunshot wounds.
1) Bullet passes clean through & exits. No serious damage done as long as it doesn't hit a vital area. The diameter of a bullet is narrow & doesn't necessarily inflict a ton of collateral damage to surrounding tissue.
2) Bullet fragments on impact resulting in shrapnel which breaks into pieces & literally shreds someones internals. A hollow point is structurally weak & intended to crumple and fragment on impact to produce this result.
Long term option #3) Bullet fragments in your body can poison a person, also. I think with older manufacturing methods a bullet made with / containing lead could inflict lead poisoning also, not 100% certain on that.
As long as its a high velocity standard round there's a decent probability the bullet will pass clean through & you'll be ok as long as it misses something vital.

what it boils down to then, is your two options when you get shot are die, or live.
if this happened in the uk, we would queue up and file the correct complaint to the correct authorities. like good people should.

This shit's creepy but I'm going to believe that drugs in his system severely hampered his ability to register pain; but it's possible he was dead after the first few shots, one would have to consider the aiming of the guns and where the bullets pierced this man. On another note, he was probably already kinda fucked up in the head even while sober so....drugs made his urge to consume human flesh worse...? Everything's speculation, but this is very creepy, not at all funny to me. I hope that poor man he assaulted is alright.

He was shot nine times: in the hand ( his right thumb, to where the bullet passed through and out his little finger), arm, hip, both legs, chest, and his face (his left cheek).
Obviously the "gun shot" to his face was more like a graze from the bullet.
I doubt he was "shot" in the chest, as well. I think he's just playing gangstah
All this does is prove that this guy was on some serious LSD. If 9 bullets brought down the tough and awesome 50 cent then this guy must have been a zombie!
