In the United States and Canada, a cookie is a small, flat-baked treat, containing milk, flour, eggs, and sugar, etc. In most English-speaking countries outside North America, the most common word for this is biscuit; in many regions both terms are used, while in others the two words have different meanings—a cookie is a plain bun in Scotland, while in the United States a biscuit is a kind of quick bread similar to a scone.

Very informative.

and yes, I do like cookies.

So is this cookies as in biscuits or cookies as in cookies because in the UK we have both, although cookies are far nice, especially blueberry or double chocolate chip cookies, they're nectar! Also, biscuits are also nice like custard creams and bourbons. :awesome:

Just give me my home made chocolate chip cookies and a tall glass of milk and leave me alone. Donuts are better though.

They're spongey which implies cakehood, biscuits are generally harder and more brittle.

I like the cookies you get in bags of 5 at ASDA, especially the white chocolate chip ones. They're so chewy and moist and yummmmmm. <3 OH and Yorkie cookies are orgasmic!

Oh god I so want one now. :gasp:

I like biscuits too.. custard creams, bourbons... yum. =D OH and Oreos and milk. <3
