who is planning on getting version 2.0 on PS3?

If I decide to get this game i'll get it on ps3. My PC is a bit too old to play this game on. Though I'm still unsure if an MMO is something I really want to commit my time towards, I'll see how the payments work. Also I'll wanna know how well this game runs on the ps3.

Same here Toni, and really I don't wanna be one of those "loners" on this game. Really I find MMO's boring unless you play with people that you know and can get along with.

forum never posts my posts....

Il probably get it on my ps3, though unlikely straight away

Im more interested in PSO2s release

I might pick up the new Collector's Edition if it is available on PS3, that way I can add it ot my PC version from 1.0

Can PS3 and PC not integrate? I misunderstood that they could. I'd probably get it on PS3. We should make a clan :B

Haven't played an MMO since Runescape V1. I've never been in a 'guild' or 'clan' (FF12 didn't count..) :B

It's 10 times better than playing solo! I've got some friends on Facebook wanting to play. So if we can get a group of friendly people, willing to help each other out, it should be awesome.

If I get this game I will definitely get it on ps3!
No stranger to MMORPG's this could be amazing. P2P seems to have a lot of advantages. Dedicated people and no useless bots.

Maybe if it went F2P* and the price of a copy of the game slashed by half, but the former is very unlikely to happen. Redoing this game from the ground up has been such a disastrous time and money sinkhole that it will be the last MMO I expect to ever go F2P. Even in the unlikely event it occurs, would you really trust Square-Enix with this model? Would you honestly think Square will be fair with how they handle a F2P MMO? They're so starved for at the very least a breakeven from this project that they will do absolutely anything to COMPEL the player to spend money.

If supposing I really want this, I would still pray for a PS4 version, or bite the bullet, get a decent rig and purchase the PC version of the game. I can't fathom how awful the PS3 versions framerate may be in certain places. I will not be surprised if at release, reviewers and players slate the PS3 version for this very reason.

*F2P after you have forked out money for the disc first, that is!

I'm not an MMO kind of gamer, but XIV 2.0 really interests me. I'd happily try out the PS3 beta if SE responded to my application, but if I was to buy the game I expect I'd use the PC. Performance issues aside, I really only do PS3 gaming last thing in the day (or night, I suppose I should say). A PC is much more accessible to me for the brief gaming periods I have available before that. The graphics would certainly be a nice bonus, too.

ive been saving some extra money just to buy ffxiv. but ill still find a way to play it. I hope i dont have to pay extra to make additional characters. I really want to make a cloud like character, a zell like character and the female one ill be using as my main avatar.

I wonder if we can delete Characters and make new ones. :hmm: more I hear the more I want. It is odd never wanted an MMO this baf!

I played XI on my Xbox for about a month. I have always like the idea of playing MMO's on my TV vs at my computer. So since XIV is only $40 and depending on how much it will be monthly I'm most likely going to play it or at least try it out for a month

You can, although the only reason to do that is if you wanted to play a different race. Every race is capable of play every job, so you aren't limited to one job per character.

Like I said in another thread, I will probably look into it but it is not a definite YES that I will be getting it. First of all, Free to play is non existent with this new title, it will probably never be free, and I have much greater interest in other titles as of now.

Yes, if I were to get it.. my preferred version would be the PS3 version. I always used to think back in the day with Argie(Dan) that XIV would be really fun to play with some people from here.. but then the horrible news came.

I wish we did not have to pay. :rage:

I think the game is great and knowing a lot about MMOs, the good ones are.always priced. Still not many MMOs are as pricey anymore. most of them are free but those are the meh versions. the only one that is free and great features is perfect world. that one is freenium. As long as we can buy those cards that lets us pay for additional month or two, im good. i cant pay that much regularly.
