AotW 47 entry [Theme: Colour]

I really like this one, even though I normally loathe the colour yellow. It goes so well with Yuffie! I like the little X in the top right hand corner too ^^ Not so sure about the border being yellow though, but overall, it's very good.

SotW 97 Entry [Theme: Black and White]

Just a black and white version of the sig I made for Virgil but it looked damn sexy Black and White to me. >_>

I liked the colour version, but it works in Black and White too! It looks more intense in B&W too. In B&W you notice the little things, like his eyes, and they stand out so much more

This one, I thought the background was too bright, but overall a nice gentle piece.

By far your best piece of the lot.

Got some variations, which is nice, only thing besides the lighting and whatnot is the small font text, can't see the last one's.

You're kind of not meant to be able to. That's the whole point of tiny text. It's there just to decorate the piece.

Oooh Vikki. these are gorgeous! The colours and the text work very well, and I'm impressed that you've done such great work with two characters in the stock, I'm really impressed! I think these are your best avatars so far ^^

First off~ I love the look of them at first glance, but the black text stands out a little too much when the icons are so soft, but that's my first reaction xD The colours and lighting used are wonderful :3

My favourites, the colours in the second look GORGEOUS even though it took me a few seconds to realise what was going on xDD Cloud & Tifa, yes? No complaints, except grey text might look a biit nicer. Ofc I've noticed you're all about contrast, so

And yes - Sab, small font is for decoration xD

They all look stunning tbh. Everything fits amazingly, the text the lighting and especially your choice in which placing the render. You definately work well with hot colours like red and yellow.
Definately the best avatars ive seen from you yet. Excellent work

Ok cos my connection crapped out earlier I opened a load of old PSD's in photoshop and decided to just adjust em a bit now that I've gotten better.

You might recognize these.

I think I like this last one best just because it looks so different to anything else I've ever made. XDDDDD

Some excellent work there Vikki. I've highlighted my favourites, as I think they all have a certain something that gives it the "wow" factor. I particularly love the blending, the text and the colours you use ^^

Out of all the tags you just posted, the ones above are the ones that look the best and feel the most "completed" in my opinion, and I think they show off all your skills :3

I like this one, it's really good green so sexy, colors are perfect and so is the render placement, the font looks good but I don't know maybe it fits another place I'm not sure, overall it's quite a great tag. ^__^

I like the avatar, colors are quite magnificent, the only thing I had a problem with was recognizing who is in there but I guess the text explain it. >_>

Well I think it's really good tbh, a bit too bright but it's rather good, also I don't know why but your sigs have that blurry effect for some reason having a problem with PS? D:

I like this one a lot, its excellent. Great colours vibrancy and the text is placed perfectly in my opinion. I like how uv tilted the render to accomodate for the canvas size. Did you sharpen it yourself? Either way i think it looks really good sharp.

This looks great in terms of effects though i admit i have no idea who is in the icon itself, i think its maybe blended in a little too much its hard to make out. The colours are hot though as is the text.

I dont like this one tbh. It doest stand up to your other work. The colours are very plain and dull. Theres too much light around her, it doesnt have any direction. I think the tiny text at the bottom and the X' look out of place aswell ><

I like your work best when you work with dark colours, for some reason it seems so much more appealing to me, than when you work with lighter colours. This sig is really good. I love the text, and the tinier text underneath xD I've been messing around with that to. The stock is nicely placed, and I love the shade of green that you used.

I love the look of this whole Icon, just the font seems weird. The simple 1 pixel black bored, really rounds it off nicely. The colours seem really vibrant, which makes it really nice to look at.

I did like what you did to this one, the brushes the font, and I liked the X's xD I thought they were really cute. Now... For me it's too bright though, But I LOVE the adds you gave this sig. Was a really good entry.

This one is gorgeous. =)

I love the colours used and the lighting in the background. It really makes the character stand out which is great!

I love the detail in the background, especially over on the right.

The text is superb and the blending is very well done.

The only thing I didn't like was the cut off on the left before the signature actually ended. It would look better if that yellow thingy above the text was blended in more with the dark background on the left, so that it doesn't look so cropped.

I wasn't actually sure what this one was meant to be. I could make out a hand but that was it.

The colours look nice and so does the text but I really couldn't tell what was in the avatar.

The detail on the left looks great and blended in so well. The colours match her skin colour and I like the hint of yellow in her dress!

The text down the bottom looks cute and the little dots above the text and also around her head look great!

I love the glossy feel and the lighting is superb!

I like the evilness within this one. The image looks great and I love the green aura surrounding Draco. Very fitting.

Lovely blending and the simplicity of the signature looks great!

The text is once again gorgeous as always and the stroke of green around it looks lovely. I don't know what it is popping out of the dark beneath the text but it looks great. XD

I think this one came across as too simple. It just looked like text was added to me and maybe some sort of texture added up on the right over the hair.

A bit too much white too in my opinion.

The deep purple looks great and feels rather icy. The rippled effect (I think) looks great in the background and the lighting looks just right.

The texture over on the right near the bottom hand corner looks awesome and the text is simply gorgeous! I love that font!

The swirly white glowing line that is barely visible looks great swooping over her chest into the background too!

I love the stroke around the border too! It always adds that extra something. =)

Keep up the great work!

Not to fond of this one. The lighting is a bit odd. It just seems to be floating there. Its in the right place but i think it would look better with some direction. Maybe try using the render spotlight to create the light source. The scripture font is a little hard to read, i think maybe splitting the text (the quote) into three lines would have been better.

Now this one i really like. Its icy, great effect. The lighting is much better than the one above, it has direction and is definately very well done.
Text is simple, i like it. Good fonts, great placement, well done.
I wouldnt change anything about this one.

And a character sig I've made for one of my RP characters.

Pretty purple. I like how you positioned the text, although Mileena seems to flow into the background a bit too much, I guess the white around her was a good idea, so she stands out a bit more. I would've liked it a bit better if she would've stood out a bit more. I love the simple bored, and the sig overal, I'm a sucker for purple.

I'm not a big fan of this blue colour. I LOVE the border you used though, the text seems nice to. Maybe it's just the image that doesn't appeal to me, but the avvy looks really good. I thought it suited the theme nicely.

I voted for this one. Love the colours, the text, and the image is too cute. Really good avvy in my opinion. (snuggles it) OMNOM.

I'm not a big fan of orange colours, but this suits the theme nicely. The big font you used is really pretty, what is it? The tiny, what I'm guessing is decorative text is too cute. :mark: The image is so sad though. I get mixed up feelings with this sig.

This is one I think is your better work. I love it when you make sigs like this. It looks like a slight uneven border, which I think is really pretty. The text Lili Raide, is something I like 'cause you used black and white for the colours, and the "Magical" with the little flower underneath is so pretty. The background is really nicely detailed and I love how it fits the character's eye colour. REALLY pretty sig.

The focal point is well established in this one and the text looks great although I think the Mileena should have been a different colour in order to stand out at ad more.

The purple and white colour theme works nicely and the blending of the character looks great! I love the soft white coming up over her chest area.

The detail in the background looks great and eye-catching.

The only thing I would suggest to change would be the lighting on the character's face. It seems a tad too dark and hard to make out.

Definitely fits the theme of the competition.

The blues and white's look lovely together and gives off a rather icy feeling. The text looks good, but is a tad hard to read on the left. Maybe a bit more of a glow would help it stand out more. =)

I really do like it, but I don't think it fit the theme too well. It's more of a loving theme then a joyful theme in my opinion.
