Very First Tag

Well, I guess this should be fun. xD Basically you post your very first tag (or if you don't have it, one of your earliest tag when you first got into GFX).

Here's mine:

It's so...empty. I tried making it look rough on the blade part but as you can see, I really had no clue what I was doing here. This actually wasn't my very FIRST tag...rather, I believe it's my 2nd or 3rd one. I tried cutting the image myself but it came out choppy-looking. (I didn't know about renders back then). >.>

Anyway, anyone brave enough to post theirs up? It's fun looking back though, I must admit.



Edit: NEVERMIND! I found the very first tag. It was in my other photobucket account, haha.

Yeah...lotsa swirls and all that jazz. >.> Lol the tiger's head totally overlapped the border...I just now saw the flaw in that. But darn it, it looked almost perfect to me back then!

Lol I even took snapshots of my progress. I told myself back then that I would like some memories of my very first work and voila:

It came in handy. I can now look back and give myself a pat in the back for the progress I've made. =] Not that there's much, but there will be some more. xD

I just started this month and this was the first one I did. I didn't even really finish it, I just gave up on it. But I'm very proud of how well I did.

Fear. The. Freaking. Horrendous. Sig. So basically, I grabbed a bunch of Weegi render/image/things, blurred the hell out of them, made a crappy blurred background, and called it a day. Not to mention the text. Oh, the text. That was like, the crappiest sig ever. And yet I was fairly happy with it.

I always called these things Banners, until I was 'enlightened' that they were commonly referred to as Sigs. So I had a site, once upon a time, named Nintopia. It lasted about 2 weeks. Wasn't very active, members had better things to do, all in all, it died fairly quickly. But it still brings memories of me living in Dallas. ;D

I don't know if there was a thread like this, I didn't see one but knowing me I most likely missed it something of the sort....

Anyways...I was looking through my old work and I just plain dropped my jaw, I can't believe back then I thought that looked good xD Either way, what do you think of your old work when you see it? Perhaps you can post some of the older ones here? =)

Crud, I can't believe it's been over a year since I made this thread and posted my ancient works. Time sure flies by.

I have to admit that although I know my work back then aren't as good as now, I still am fond of them because I spent a lot of time pouring hard work into it, and I'm really the only one who can genuinely appreciate it for what it's worth.

Both were made using Artweaver and Picnik.com.
I'm glad I have GIMP, now. XD

The size isnt ridiculous at all. Theres nothing wrong with big canvases provided you know how to fill them in a way thats effective and looks presentable.

Thats like the oldest 1 i could find, i had worse i think but lost all my crappy old sigs when the laptop crapped out. Lol @ zizzle. *facepalm* And that white light is supposed to be his soul, haha. Done on gimp i think >.>

I think that was my first ever PS sig, i had just dl'd tech brushes for the first time and i whored them on there thinking it was leet. LOL!
