[V5] What are you currently listening to?

Biffy Clyro - Many of Horror (When We Collide)

The proper, and original version of the song. It's an epic song, it's quite a moving song which is due to the actual lyrics which is nice to hear in a song and because of the pace of the song, it moves along at a comfortable speed and isn't too quick or too slow. Biffy has a rather fantastic voice too. Epic song.

Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (Deadmau5 remix)

The original was very good, this remix is even better. It's a bit slower than the original. Not a complex song however: only two synths and a simple beat. It's quite relaxing and it's one of my stress relief track. I just recently discovered Deadmau5 and it's a shame for a guy like me that love trance. I wonder where I was those last three years :hmmm:

Kingdom of Heartache - Chimaira

This is probably my favourite Chimaira song. Normally I'm not one for excessively loud metal where you can barely (if at all) tell what the vocalist is screaming at you, but I'm in the right sort of mood to listen to it right now, and this actually one of their softer, easier-to-understand songs.

Marry Me - Emilie Autumn

I only discovered Emilie Autumn recently, and I'm quite fond of her rather unique brand of music...as well as her impeccable fashion sense. A lot of her songs make me giggle, because the lyrics are mildly dirty. xD
I've yet to listen to the entire discography, but this song is my favourite so far ♥

On My Shoulders - The Dø

I heard this while I was out yesterday, and I've had it on repeat all day today, it's an epic little song. Her voice is pretty unique; I couldn't listen to their album without a break, but it works so well with this song.

Swedish House Mafia- One (Your Name)

What a 'choon...I love the beat and the lyrics. Its a song about being at the club and finding someone you like...and you want to know their name :awesome: I could listen to this all day and probably not get sick of it. House music- I love it :gasp:

Just the Girl ~ by The Click Five

One of those songs that came out years ago, and I heard it in a movie soundtrack I watched the other night. Reminds me of those old LFO songs about the high school guy that describes the girl he's chasing after and all that he likes about her. Etc... Just takes ya back some years.

8/10

Duck Sauce - Barbara Streisen

Okay...This is one of my guilty pleasure. I don't know why I like this song, maybe because it's catchy, maybe it's because the guy say "Barbara Streisen" 73829 times in the song. I heard it every time my coworker puts the radio channel on virgin radio, where they play house. Now it's stuck in my head. We recently started looking at each other and shout "Barbara Streisen" at the appropriate moment when the song is playing. Decent house overall.

Combichrist - Without Emotions

I haven't really listened to this band in a while, so i figured i'd get into it again, now that it's the holidays and i have the time to properly listem to the band without a teacher breathing down my neck. The band is pure awesome. I like how the beats can get you up and jumping aswell as head spinning throughout the whole song, but at the same time has lyrics (in some of the songs).

This song doesnt really have any lyrics but it is a song i'd definatly have playin at a house party.

I Don't Care - Apocalyptica (feat. Adam Gontier)

I've been quite fond of this song ever since it was used at the end of a Smallville episode...I have a huge playlist of most of the songs used in that show. This one has the biggest playcount. I've heard the other version, but for some reason I prefer the heavier one. It seems to fit the lyrics more, in my opinion.

Solar Sailer -Daft Punk (Tron Legacy)

I love me some Daft Punk, and on the awesome side, they did the WHOLE soundtrack to Tron. Needless to say, me and my bf loved every second of it!

Selena Gomez & the Scene - As a Blonde
This song is just pure magic and epicness :jess: It's so punk and so rock, man. I love the lyrics and the way she's vocalizing in it. It's so so so frickin' punk I just love it. It's so fast and just pumps me full of energy! :ryan:

One of the best songs ever <3

Apocalyptica feat. Gavin Rossdale - End Of Me

This. song. Is. Epic :ryan: pure epic. Hands down.

Apocalyptica and Gavin Rossdale are nearly a perfect match. I like the darkness of the song and, Gavin fits very well for this role :ryan: I couldn't see it being anyone else and sounding so good doing it. It was just meant for him.

The lyrics add to make this song awesome.Especially the chorus. I LOVE the chorus.

I could listen to this song all day haha XD

I should really pick up Tron soundtrack since I'm a big Daft Punk fan and because I have only heard good stuff about it.

Wildstylez - Push that Feeling

One of my favourite hardstyle track. The piano part that start at 2:00 is amazing and it's a sad and epic melody at the same time. I also love the sound of the synth they used, since it has a classic trance sound. 10/10

Dir en grey - Hageshisa to Kono Mune No Naka de Karamitsuita Shakunetsu No Yami

I've been a DRG fan since last year, they have an epic awesome tune, and theur filmclips are even better!

This is a song for the newes Saw Movie that came out this year, I will NEVER forget this song, it is the BEST of their music so far.

Tenacious D - Beezleboss
9/10
I have had this song stuck in my head ever since I first watched the movie. It's just addictingly awesome, despite the cussing and references. I especially liked the 'blowing doors down' section.

Connie Francis - Que Sera Sera (What Ever Will Be, Will Be)

Beautiful song. I originally came across Doris Day's version, but I like both just the same. I think I prefer Connie's pronunciation on the "Que Sera Sera" part of the song though. :lew:

It's quite a short song but I just fell in love with it. It's fascinating to see how much more impressive the talent was back in the 50's and 60's.

When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother, what will I be
Will I be pretty, will I be rich
Here's what she said to me.

Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.

When I was young, I fell in love
I asked my sweetheart what lies ahead
Will we have rainbows, day after day
Here's what my sweetheart said.

Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.

Now I have children of my own
They ask their mother, what will I be
Will I be handsome, will I be rich
I tell them tenderly.

Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.

I found this beautifully created song while searching Youtube for any sort of Freya/Frately tributes. The song is Forgotten Face, and words were added and sung by the creator of the video. Truly a fitting and lovely song for the Freya/Fratley story.

OVER 9000/10

Memories crumble around me
Everything changes around me
Found you but only to lose you
I found you but only to lose you
Searching the world for lost love
Left without you
Which path am I now left to wander?
Which path am I bound to I wonder?
I searched through the deepest of valleys
Only to find traces of footsteps
I climbed to the highest of mountains
Only to lose you

Heads Will Roll - Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Love this song, it's so ridiculously catchy. Karen O has a great voice, and the chorus gets lodged in my brain and refuses to leave. The music behind her voice is pretty solid too, and creates a very dancey track.
