From Where You Are - Lifehouse

Fantastic song, I love the voice of the lead singer, he has a very rusty type of voice but it works extremely well for the songs they produce. It has a very emotional feeling to the song and the lyrics are heartfelt. Haven't heard from these guys in a while but their new album is ace.

Copeland - Don't Slow Down

Another incredible song from them. Although I don't much like these lyrics, with Aaron Marsh's voice... I could get used to them. :ryan:

With a heart so pure
You could fall so quickly
But don't you dare slow down for me
Were it not for hearts like mine
Calloused thickly
You could fall so easily
Don't you dare slow down for me

You can take everything I have
Just don't leave my side no, don't leave my side
You can take everything I have
Just don't leave my side no, don't leave my side

Cause your words hit like a train and I can't ignore it
This moment could be our last
You fall in love and I'm running after
You move way too fast

Tool - Pushit (Live)

Let me just say this song made me literally sit there in bewilderment and tear up a bit. This song to me reminds me of an inner struggle that still follows me as of today. That when feeling completely fine, I still can snap back to the brink of destruction. The cold hurt, the feel of nothing.. the absence of any humanity in my being, the want to give, but yet gain nothing from it. The want to buy my soul out of the pits of hell (not literal, dig deep with me here). The want to make an impact on those who will come after me, to give them some perspective in this life. The want to cast away all people see, and start a new on a better man kind. The one who does work on monetary gain, yet to aid a brother or a sister in need. This is a mythical desire, for I don't believe a utopia such as this could exist on this logical plain. The desire for power and attention will always be there for people... so to hope, is to only wish.

When I close my eyes to this song, I see a blue pulsating light.. calming and giving me an embrace that not a single human being can give me. The closest to the one they would call god I ever get. It's almost mesmerizing.. hypnotic almost.. I see my persona.. my inner being.. the one who tries so hard to learn to swim, and show others the way. And when the song goes off...

All reality relapses.. sigh.

New Mind - Swans

It's got a slightly grunge-ish riff with quite a heavy drum beat.
It's a attack on evangelical christianity. It starts off with rebirth into evangelicalism, then there's the belief that only he can knows what god wants and then it ends with condemnation of everyone else. It's Pat Robertson's career in a song.

Manchester Orchestra - Sleeper 1972

The lyrics are quite melancholy, but I do love the way they are presented. Everything comes together nicely and I'm in love with the vocals.

The men in the black ties
arrive at the house in surprise,
to find a little girl by your side,
the wood box where you're sleeping.

I still see you
inside of this god awful house.
You move awfully quiet now.
And I still feel you everywhere.

You told me this has always been worth living.
What's really worth living anymore?

The Clash - Wrong 'Em Boyo

It's been a few years since my punk obsession but London Calling is still as epic an album as ever and this is one of my favourite tracks from it. I love how upbeat the music is while tackling quite a dark subject matter in comparison.

La La La- LMFAO
Haha their great!! ^^ this song deff is my type of song xD Very catchy, smooth and LMFAO delivers the song nicely with their flow and they have great beats and it's a song that will rise up my spirit xD it's a good song

Daisy Chainsaw - Future Free

I wish this band was still around today as KatieJane Garside is probably the most insane vocalist I have ever seen and their shows most have been stupidly intense. The band definitely has a punk sound to them but they're far more avant garde to simply put them in that category. This video shows the end of the song and gives you an idea of how odd they are, more than that though check out the interview that follows, it is simply bizarre. Why the interviewer is speaking to her like a child or why she storms of stage I have no idea but it's kind of messed up and interesting to watch if nothing else.

Lene Marlin - Where I'm Headed

One of my favourite female artists ever, I've listened to her ever since " Sitting down here " was released in 1999, Immense Vocals in this Song

Lady GaGa - Bad Romance

You'd think I'd have been fed up with this a while ago. Truth is, I'm still kinda hooked on it. The video to it gives it a little bit more life, even though some of the shots freak me out. Some people I know have started liking her since this, so I can't wait to see new material. It's very catchy, got a constant beat throughout and her voice is literally the female version of Freddie Mercury. Since I heard songs from The Fame, I never thought she'd be able to top it. This is definitely going to be a classic in years to come.

Firewater / Punk Goes Acoustic, by Yellowcard.

Omg. Talk about current obsession. This song is absolutely amazing, definitely worth a check-out if you like that kind of music.

I've always liked this band. But damn. This sooooooong. <3 :ryan:

♫ You sat me down beside myself...
To show me all the reasons, I was wrong for you...
Was it for real it's hard to tell...
'Cause it was such a beautiful mess, we had got into...

Can I swallow this bottle whole? ♪

Let me go- Three doors down
Imma sucker for the band! 3 doors down is an amazing band, and this is one of the many songs that I love by them <3 everything in this song seems to work out the way it should; and it's perfect! Love this song to pieces^^

Rihanna - Russian Roulette

I quite like that there's a dark side to Rihanna in this song. After what happened with Chris Brown last year, I often thought how she was going to bounce back through her music. The result is a strangely addictive belter of a song. I love the theme of it, the way she raises her voice slowly from the beginning right through until the end and so on. The chorus is the most effective, almost making it seem like she's really going to die in the video. Stunning stuff.

Thank You For The Heartbreak - Sugababes.

Sugababes 4.0 has arrived. This song is amazing, all their voices sound fantastic and its one of their best songs in years, from any lineup. It's so damn catch and Jade totally smashes it, her overdubbing is much better than Keisha's, as it adds to the song rather than detracting from it. It's a fantastic song and I hope they release it as a single.

Hypnogaja - Here Comes The Rain Again

I'm mixed with this song, I like the overall rhythm and the combination of the piano and guitar at the start is brilliant, the lyrics are overall very good the problem is the vocals. He handles the minute and a half so perfectly but then he really seems to struggle for some, he sort of sounds like he's trying to sound loudly but is screeching which is a bit of a disappointment =/

Agnes - I Need You Now

It's a nice, soothing and relaxing song while it still seems to be classified as dance. Her voice is very unique, haven't ever heard one like that before. She strangely looks like Leona Lewis, but is talented in her own way. The video doesn't have a lot going on, but she looks absolutely stunning in it. I wish I had the car she drove it in lol. I do believe it's one of those songs that's underrated and I love it.

Lesley Gore - You Don't Own Me

I kind of go into weird phases of listening to 60's stuff and in all fairness I kind of consider a lot of the stuff I listen to from that time period a bit camp but hell, if I start worrying about what I listen to now then I'm screwed when I look at the crap in my last.fm charts. Anyway, although Lesley Gore is definitely one the "gayer" artists I listen too (she is actually even a lesbian herself which puts a whole different meaning to her song "I Wish I Was A Boy" now) this song doesn't come across remotely like that. It's catchy as hell and definitely my favourite song of hers; it's also one fo the few songs of hers where she really gets to show her vocal talent I think.

We made you-Eminem
This song is hilarous! The lyrics are funny, but the video makes me laugh more xD Eminem as an person shows that he likes to have fun and is a joker. He's just a great artist and I always enjoy listening to his music and this song is yet another great song by him.

Muse-hysteria
Very good song. For some reason, it never gets old. Actually, I don't think any of Muse's songs get old. I remember hearing it back in the day and instantly being hooked on them. 10/10 for sure.
