I got the collection about two years ago, I'm not sure if there's any difference between this one and the later one, but this one is fine. I am Kratosaru who is pasty warrior from Sparta and I am killing nasty beasties, I am very good at killing nasty beasties. I'm just on my way to go and get Pandoraji's boxaru. It is a fun game and quite good, although the camera angles can be infuriating and the game has aged quite a bit.

I just started playing this game again. I haven't played this game since I was like 13 or 14. I remembered loving it as a kid a lot, it was one of my favourite games but my disk stuffed up before I ever got a chance to finish it :(

I've only just started to play again but I can already tell that I'm going to enjoy it just as much. I think it looks pretty good for a PSX game. The character sprites are really cute and I love the music and everything.
 
Alundra - one of the best ps1 games, hands down. Better than what it copied: LttP.

Resi: ORC - Fun on multiplayer...but I get bored with it when playing on my own. The worst resi game to be released in a while, I'm sad to say :(

Resi 5 - Having serious fun with this one. Pro is a good challenge, without making you want to rip your hair out. Although, Sheva does take forever to revive you... :rage:

I have Rayman 3 to play again, now in HD and all that jazz. Probably my favourite Rayman to date :)

I am currently playing Devil May Cry 3 on the PS3 HD Collection.

I'm playing each DmC game in order of chronology. It goes 3-1-2.
 
*coughs* Wakfu. Don't judge me. Yes, it's technically for kids from ages 10-15 and is therefore way more suitable for my little cousin who's 13. I don't care though. The graphics are cute, the gameplay is addictive, I love the turn-based tactical battle system, complete with isometric tiles. It's got that old school Final Fantasy Tactics feel which I adore. Right now I have two characters: Teva'Ni, who is a Lvl. 8 Scram which is basically an Assassin class. She can turn invisible in one of her skills for like 4-5 turns and sneak behind enemies and double up the damage her other melee skills can inflict. Salika is my second character, she's a Pandawa basically a "Drunken Fist" type class. She carries around a flask with alcohol, drinks it, gets drunk, and inflicts crazy ass kung-fu moves on yo' ass. You can tell which one I like more: Salika.
 
Finally got around to getting Mass Effect 3 last night. It's not a bad game at all, the demo was great and I think I've played this game for most of today :)
 
I started last week with FF7 again. I got the game in 1998 and never finished it. I made it to the final boss but never took the time to actually finish it. Why? I really don't know. So I started last week a new game to intend to get everything in the game before finishing it. But with a child comming in less then 2 months and a wedding coming in 2 weeks, I don't think I have much time to play T_T. Got all the FF from 1 till 13 except 11, 14 and 13-2 but 13-2 will be purchased really soon. Only FF I finished is 13. So I want to start with 7 and play my way to 13-2. Then I maybe start with the oldies ^_^.
 
Been playing a lot of Skyrim. Hadn't touched it in ages, what after the lag made it unplayable and all, though a friend recently told me that was fixed so I got back on. Very, very happy to see the lag gone, and I made sure to use the fix for the water bug when "updating" as well. Ultimately decided to restart my character and am more or less having to completely relearn combat, as my last character was stealth and this one is not.
 
Resident Evil - Operation Raccoon City

This game is pretty fun. I had my doubts because of the review scores it was given. But had heard a lot of people say the multiplayer was real good. So me and my pals gave it a go last weekend and had a lot of fun :D. It has its flaws but the game is fun enough to over come those and if you're playing with a fun group of people that makes it even better. The game is quite hard for me I think. We've had to replay a couple of levels over and over coz it was a little hard hahaha.

I like that the characters each have a special ability too. Unfortunately the game is a bit short and i think we're already on the last chapter after only a few hours of playing :rage:
 
ff13-2. 158/160 fragments, still working on many of the achievements. it's an okay game, but se needs to fuck off with this dlc story shit when the ending is already so goddamn awful.
 
DLC is ruining the game industry. They think of a good game, but good parts of the game will be DLC. You just pay big money for an incomplete game and then you can pay again to make the game complete T_T. Just horrible.
 
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

I've never played a Lara Croft game before so I wasn't too sure what to expect when I bought this, but so far I am loving it a lot.
You play as Lara and your pal plays as some random tribes man called Tortec or something, each character has special things only they can do to help solve puzzles. For instance Lara has her clawshot thing and tortec has his spear and shield which lara can jump on. It's the right kind of difficulty I think, there are loads of things to collect like guns and relics and powerups, the game looks really good too.
 
Tales of Vesperia - XBOX 360

Restarting this game after finishing it already, but this time i'm aiming to head and aim more on doing the side quests and getting the best weapons in the game to face the true final boss of the game. i'm also finally leant how to cook after a battle :lew: you can tell I don't read the manual of games

Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection - PSVita

I'm also playing Final Fantasy IV in my spare time on the vita, as it quick and it only take like a min to boot up, soo far it a very good game, and I love the characters that are in the game :) a very good final fantasy game indeed

 
Legend of Grimrock

Obviously, I was no 80s or early 90s kid, so I missed out on a lot of things that an 80s or 90s kid would have really got into while at the height of their popularity and/or reception. One of these things were the classic dungeon crawler RPGs that basically throw your arse into a labyrinthine dungeon with a simple task: survive and persevere to the exit point. These games had little to no hand-holding outside of basic tutorials and often involved the player bringing out their own graph paper to chart every floor of the dungeons, if they wanted to efficiently survive.

Grimrock is essentially a callback to those dungeon crawlers, but with modern visuals, and otherwise plays just like its parents from what I have seen and heard. So far, I like the good blend of the dungeon crawling and puzzles embedded in now and then. So far, I haven't come across any ridiculously hard or infuriating puzzle yet that has had me sitting there for 40 minutes bewildered. My phobia of snails unfortunately kicked in very early on, because the game begins by throwing a ton of giant snails at you, so that wasn't very pleasant for me - I literally started running back to avoid having them come up near me.

In fact, that is pretty much how fighting works. You can pretty much sidestep and dash backwards as much as you want when fighting, while dishing a few hits whenever possible. Rinse and repeat, and the enemy hopefully dies. I can see where this gets infuriating when outnumbered, but so far I haven't had say, 5 monsters at once determined to skin me alive or anything...yet. This hit and run tactic can be tactical, in that you don't want to put yourself in a tight, unmaneuverable corner, but theoretically, you can pretty much kill most things like this as long as you're not severely outnumbered.

Anyway, bar the giant snails, I am kind of enjoying this interesting retro-modernish take on a classic genre I never really appreciated. It's the sort of game that's a rare beast in the wild, but when it does pop up, it tells the Call of Duty audience that back in the day, gamers had iron balls. Yes, women gamers too, though there definitely weren't as many of them back in the day.
 
Dragon Quest 8.

This game was recommended to me so I picked it up off ebay for a nice price and it arrived on Friday.
I've been playing it on and off over the weekend and so far I am really enjoying it. It just feels like a classic RPG I guess. :hmmm: the graphics are really nice, they are Cell Shaded so they hardly look dated! This is the first DQ game I've ever played so I am not so familiar with the series.

I'm not a fan of the silent hero, he seems a bit pointless but the rest of the characters have been interesting and fun so far. I like the battling, it is turn based, dungeons and stuff are very fun so far too, not boring at all. Levelling up is hard though :damon: and when I finally think I am levelled enough to take on the enemies a new one appears and kills my team :sad2:

I'm only 6 hours in though, but am enjoying it a lot :griin:
 
Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Took two tries to defeat the first boss. Mostly because I'm playing it on and the keyboard can't accurately mimic the movement of the analog joystick which is giving me issues.

Quit playing a few months ago not wanting to struggle like I did replaying goldeneye 007 sans analog, & need to find something else, but have been too busy to find time. :hmm:
 
I too am playing the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, except mine is in three dee. It looks quite nice for a tree dee essu game and plays well. Ocarina of Time isn't my favorite in the Zelda series but it will make do until Majora's Mask is ported to play in three dizzle.
